Repeated missed appointments and limited resolution
I arranged a boiler service with PlusHeat, with the first appointment scheduled for 3 January 2026. The attendance window given was 8:00am to 6:00pm. The engineer eventually arrived at 8:20pm, which was outside the agreed time window. After waiting the entire day, we had already left the property.
The appointment was then rescheduled for 11 February 2026, but no engineer attended and no prior notice was given. The same situation occurred again on 12 February 2026 and 4 March 2026, where no engineer attended and no communication was received.
In total, four separate days were set aside to wait for these appointments.
Following a formal complaint, the company acknowledged some delays but also stated that one visit was recorded as “no access,” despite the engineer arriving outside the agreed time window.
A new appointment was later arranged for 24 March 2026, with assurance that it would be prioritised.
This review reflects the sequence of events and communication experienced during this process.

Great customer call centre
Customer call centre are extremely polite and helpful. The only slight flaw in the service given is that a distinct time slot of the engineer's arrival should be given, 2 or 3 hour slot would be an improvement rather than 8am - 6pm.
