If someone would ask me which is my favorite restaurant in France that I would name LEON without a doubt! I often go the their restaurant which is located Za Les Avenauds, Gond-Pontouvre, Charente 16160 with my family and whenever we come there, we always have a great time there, the quality of services is superb and workers know to impress guest with top-notch service.
My favorite food is Mozzarella croquettes with tomato basil sauce and it costs only 6,90 euros, the price is one of the lowest among other restaurants and despite that they are making the most delicious mozzarella croquettes. Of course, I cannot mention that the best wines you can find only here and I would recommend you to try out white wine Chardonnay on the sea 14 cl for 5,50 euros. So yeah, I think I should come again in the near future while I was writing this review. xD

I have heard a lot about this restaurant and many of my friends recommended it. I decided to visit this restaurant with my girlfriend on our anniversary date. Everything was so beautiful and comfortable.
The restaurant has a big hall and is spacious. The staff members were so kind and their smiles on their faces made our mood up more. We made a quick order of french pasta and some champagne, it turned out that we were waiting for the order for about 30 min and I didn’t expect they would take much time to prepare it. Anyway it was really delicious.😊

Angouleme France location. Guided to a table for two by a clueless teenager next to screaming children,we asked to be next to window other side of restaurant.
We ordered the vegetarian burger which sounded good on the menu. When arrived it looked and felt like chicken. On complaint the manager brings out the packet with ingredients-including processed bamboo!
An appalling experience-never again.

Great food and great service by the people working there.

Le fichier and chips original est à tomber par terre... trop bon!!!!

Bonnes moules, serveuse aimable, mais fish and chips raté (beaucoup trop cuit), service un peu long.

Visited last night with a warm, professional greeting.
Our waitress was charming even if busy and made the evening a pleasurable experience.

The fried starters with ultra light batter were perfect, especially being washed down by their good but very expensive carafe or two of house Rosé.
Fish and frits were copious, again with the light batter for the fish accompanied by a chunk of lemon, but I should have requested vinegar.
The frits though we're the usual awful standard even though they are advertised as home cooked.
Thankfully the fish was so large a couple of chips were enough.

Deserts were good enough but in the end the bill was high due to the wine and upon paying we had to tell the cashier that we handed in a discount voucher on arrival that he forgot to make use of.

All in all it is a great family restaurant but stick to their speciality moules with beer or water for they are truly excellent and great value for money, as we know only too well.
