All the staff were extremely helpful and the waiting areas were comfortable and clean. The surgeon, 'Q' who did my operation was so good, he explained everything in detail as he went along and was very kind.

I was very very nervous about my first cataract operation, but everyone I saw at SpaMedica was so understanding and very reassuring. The procedure was just amazing, talked me through everything as it happened, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you all so very much. Can’t wait to get the second eye done now.

I recently had cataract surgery on both of my eyes over an eight‑week period.
My first procedure went exactly to plan, and the care I received throughout was outstanding — calm, reassuring, and delivered with real professionalism.

My second surgery was just as caring and well supported, even when an unexpected complication arose. It was something that was not foreseen, and it became clear during the procedure that things had shifted slightly off‑plan.
In that moment, Mr (Dr) Qusay was exceptional. He had a choice: pause the surgery and delay my treatment, or take the more demanding route for himself and continue safely and precisely. He chose the path that spared me further inconvenience, and he did so with remarkable skill, confidence, and kindness.

I am deeply grateful for his expertise and for the whole SpaMedica team, whose warmth and professionalism shone through at every stage.

Spamedica Two Cataract Operations L + R Eyes.
First visited Spamedica on 19 Feb for assessment with regards my left,right eye cataracts.Very professional at Preston everyone was friendly & explained the procedures,& aftercare.My first cataract was at Preston 25th Feb,everything went well staff very professional & attentive.My second cataract was performed at Spamedica Oldham by Mr Kirti Jasani as it was thought they may be difficulties due to a childhood accident to my right eye.Mr Jasani was able to perform the procedure with no issues due to his high level of expertise & experience.
Have since made a full recovery,making sure to follow the Spamedica aftercare routine.My vision in both eyes is amazing even my bad right eye has better vision.
I want to thank all the staff,nurses & doctors at both Spamedica locations for there professionalism,attention to detail & Customer Focus.I was made at ease by the very friendly staff on both occasions.Would Highly Recommend Spamedica for cataract surgery.

On the 15th may i had a cataract removed with sarah and her team, (wokingham spamedica) and i must say what a team they were, they were brilliant and made a good job with my eye i didnt even know it was done. Also i would like to thank everyone who works there how friendly they all are and makes you feel very welcome.

From arrival at reception through the whole procsess for my cateracts procedure l found the staff and medical team very caring and efficent with a highly professional approach at all stages, l was obviously a little nervous but that was unfounded by the skill and expertise during the operation.the after care nurses were very informative and precise with post op care information and have no complaints regarding my visit and amazed at the difference it has made to my vision.well done 5***** service many thanks Brian Russell.

Whole experience was excellent.

I had a Cataract op at the Worcester facility and am very impressed with the staff and the efficiency of the procedure.
The only downside being after my arrival in advance of the appointed time A two hour wait ensued prior to being called!!

I had a great experience. Visited SpaMedica Wokingham June 3rd, and from the entry to the building the staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The medical staff who dealt with me were very positive, very reassuring though honest and my surgeon really put all my fears to rest.

Everyone I dealt with was friendly, polite and efficient. Everything was explained fully and carried out successfully.

Very straightforward procedure. All staff were friendly and professional, I was kept informed throughout the operation, given clear aftercare advice, and although it's only 3 days since the procedure the results are already very good (sharper distance vision than I can remember ever having).

I was sent to SpaMedica Birmingham by my optician for cataract surgery, I was apprehensive, but I need not have worried, excellent treatment from start to finish, explanations given every step of the way , appointment started right on time , and I was walking out the door less than one hour and thirty minutes . I will not be worried for my other eye to be treated..

I have had both eye cataract operations at the Sittingbourne SpaMedica. The reception desk staff are very welcoming and friendly. The clinical staff are proficient and take steps to explain the process. Illustrated pamphlets are also provided with explanatory notes. Altogether an excellent experience.

Spa Medica of a reasonable standard. The staff are all very pleasant and smiling but when I went into the operating theatre I did not have a very good experience. The operation was done by a trainee, I was not told that this was going to happen or warned and definitely not asked.
During the operation I heard the doctor saying distinctly in my ear, ‘Get that bit out’ then ‘ Put in more anesthetic’. It came as a bit of a shock and left me rather shaky. I was then told to go and sit in a cold corridor to wait for the discharge nurse. I think they are all very proficient but forget they are dealing with people.I will give them the benefit of the doubt I know new doctors have to get experience. Perhaps it was just a busy day.
