Stash is easy and simple to use
Stash is easy and simple to use. I was able to create an account in minutes and transfer money to begin investing. I love that they give you ideas of companies to invest in and help teach along the way. Investing can be scary for beginners, but they do a great job of helping you learn and feel more comfortable. The app is easy to use and very informative.

It was extremely confusing signing up…
It was extremely confusing signing up and utilizing the platform. I got tricked into depositing money twice and they
Made it recurring without disclosure. The difference between the actual investing and your personal “bank” was not clear upon enrollment so it had me make deposits twice to even enter the app. Then I regretted my decision and wanted to settle my investments to close my account and get some money back, but it wouldn’t let me do that. I have no idea whether I’ll see that money again now that my account is closed. It’s the worst investment app out there with how confusing it is. With competitors like SoFi making investing a lot easier and less confusing, this is just a waste of time and money.

Terrible experience...
I had some accounts with Stockpile that were transferred to Stash. I did not want to pay for the subscription therefore decided to cash out the funds so I can transfer it elsewhere. I called the first time on April 20 to close out the accounts and transfer the funds to my bank. Was told the process should take about ten days to complete. Called back on May 1st as I haven't received the funds. The representative informed me there was a problem with the bank transfer. We restarted the process and used a different bank account just in case. Was told the transfer was successful and I should see the funds within 3 business days. Here we are on business day number 6 and still no funds. Called back and now they're going to issue paper checks instead. The representative couldn't give me an answer as to why the funds didn't transfer. This is terrible and I would never use them based on this experience.
