Steve's team installed both an Air Source Heat Pump system and a Solar PV system (with Tesla Powerwall) in our house in Bolton. The heat pump installation was done in January 2025 and the Solar PV in March 2025. I have now used both for sufficiently long to state confidently that the work done was of top quality. The folks who did the installation were thorough and professional. The customer service from Steve's office is also top class. The initial survey was done by Steve himself and just a conversation with him was sufficient to give me the confidence to go ahead with the project. I did not have to change any of the radiators during the process and the heating was perfect during January and February with reasonably high efficiency even during the coldest days. I woke up this morning to find my ASHP not working, no central heating and no hot water. Call to Steve at 9:00am, electrician arrived at 10:50am, ASHP back up and running by 11:30am. Great service. Highly recommended.

We’ve worked with Steve and his team for years, first a single powerwall install with additional install in Holme On Spalding Moor, the second time after our move, two powerwalls a good sized solar installation and six months after, an air source heat system to replace an aged boiler.

The team were polite, professional and extremely helpful. They arrived early and worked tirelessly to complete the job in a swift manner whilst maintaining a high standard of work.

Considerate, the team took great care not to damage any furniture or decorating as well as taking significant steps to clear up and leave the work area how they found it (if not better!).

We had a number of quotes for solar panels, we eventually found Steve via a quote for a Tesla battery. Steve's prices for solar were cheaper than any other quote we had.

We have a small three bed house and were keen to maximise our solar generation despite our relatively small roof space. Steve came back to measure twice and worked hard to get the maximum number of panels on our roof. We eventually opted for a Solar Edge system which pushed the cost up a bit, but with the extra panels the payback period didn't change significantly.

Steve handled all the scaffolding order and the installation went smoothly, he took time to do a proper job of it, even hand painting the ends of the rails black so they were invisible from the street.

We had one minor issue with a solar edge panel unit, but Steve liaised with Solar Edge and replaced this under warranty.

A year later and the system is working really well, we've generated 4100kWh from the panels, which is higher than the 3800kWh which was predicted in the quote, our feed in tariff is also higher (£270/yr vs £240 predicted) although we've only managed to use 35% of our generated electricity, not 50% like predicted. Overall our energy bills have dropped from nearly £400/yr to £70, hopefully if we get a battery installed or if we buy an electric car, we can increase the amount of our generated electricity which we use.

Had a issue with the inverter unit of my Solar Panels and contacted Steve for help. He talked me through the problem and various ways of rectifying the issue all free of charge.
Not only was his knowledge superb, but he was so helpful and yet professional throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone thinking of having Solar installed.

From start to finish Steve and Darryl were professional, polite, clean and tidy and very knowledgeable about there products and installations.
