I migrated from my MacBook. It was easy. I did have to plug in a wired keyboard and mouse first. The MacMini was on OS 10.x my MacBook was on 11.1 and initially the Mac mini would not run my MS Office apps. I got a pop up to upgrade to OS 11.1 to run and I did. Everything is running tip top now! Love it!

Nice upgrade from a 2012 model. Even though it is an Intel processor it should be around long enough to be useful. I needed this one for running the 2022 version of TurboTax. The 2012 mini won't go beyond macOS Catalina, and TurboTax will not run on that version next year. This mini will boot into Catalina (like from an external disk) and beyond.
