Tradecert is UK-built electrical certification software designed specifically for electricians, contractors, and small electrical businesses. Our platform helps electricians create, manage, and store electrical certificates quickly and accurately, whether working on domestic, commercial, or industrial installations.
The software supports a full range of UK electrical certificates, including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works, as well as fire alarm certification, emergency lighting certificates, EV charging installation certificates, and other statutory compliance documentation — all aligned with current UK regulations.
Tradecert is built to reduce admin time, minimise errors, and simplify compliance by guiding users through each certificate step-by-step. Electricians can complete certificates on site or in the office, with clear layouts and intelligent prompts that reduce rework and missed information.
A key feature of Tradecert is its use of AI-powered tools to speed up certification. Electricians can upload photos of distribution boards, fire alarm panels, emergency lighting systems, and previous certificates — allowing the software to automatically extract relevant data and populate certificate fields. The platform also includes intelligent observations, suggested wording, and regulation references to help improve accuracy and consistency.
Tradecert works across mobile and web, supports offline use while on site, and syncs securely to the cloud when an internet connection is available. Built with feedback from working electricians, it is ideal for sole traders and small electrical teams who want reliable certification software without unnecessary complexity.

Tradecert is by far the best thing to happen to me and my business. I used a different software for years (an official one), and uploading certs from mobile devices and lost certs in the cloud cost me a lot of re visits and money. If you are an electrician, please try Tradecert, it's amazing. Don't think like I did "I'm an approved NIC EIC contractor I must use the official certification software". Tradecert is better than the official software by far. Thank you Tradecert, after 34 years being in this trade someone (you) has saved me time and money, when everything else costs double and wastes time.

Tardecert is a great piece of software
Tardecert works very well. It has saved a lot of time on site. Using it recently to complete an EICR on a College with over 200 distribution boards made our engineers time more efficient with multiple engineers testing and inputting test results of the same distribution board at the same time. This made life a whole lot easier

Excellent app
Excellent app, integrates perfectly with our systems. highly recommend. Allowing multiple operatives to log in on different devices and input test data on 1 certificate really helped streamline testing.

Thanks for the great review! We’re really pleased Tradecert is helping streamline your electrical testing and certification workflow. Features like multi-user collaboration make it easier for electricians and operatives to work together on EICRs, EICs and other electrical certificates across different devices. Thanks for recommending us!
Thoroughly recommend
Their overall service is very impressive, responsive and open to new ideas and issues are answered or resolved very quickly.
Also ease of use was a big plus for me as other platforms I have used are too ‘bugey’ and does not transfer well across different platforms.

Thanks for the great review! We’re really pleased you’re finding Tradecert easy to use across different devices and platforms. We work hard to make our electrical certificate software reliable, responsive and straightforward for electricians, so it’s great to hear that’s coming through. Thanks for recommending us!
Tradecert has been a revelation!
For years our company and personnel have fell victim to sub standard, complicated and ‘clunky’ test certificate softwares. Tradecert is the best thing to happen in our company in years. It has drastically reduced the time and stress of filling out testing reports and we couldnt be more grateful of this service. A huge issue which had held us back is the perceived fear of moving 100’s of distribution board information over to a new platform, with the Ai ability you can do it in minutes and it’s took a couple of days to move everything over. The customer service team are top class and you can get into touch with a member of the team over WhatsApp or the phone immediately if you have questions or require technical support. You need AI tokens to use the AI functions but they are very liberal with distributing them out of you need them, I expected this to be another form of getting money out of you but this just hasn’t been the case.
Overall, I couldn’t rate this service higher and I recommend it to any electrician, whether you work in domestic or industrial.

TradeCert are probably the best electrical certification service I have used, and I have been around the electrical industry for 35+ years. The customer support is without fault. They get back to you within the hour usually. The certs are formatted and laid out in a easy to use fashion. They are increasing their scope of certs on a regular basis. Highly reccomend.
