Defective bed, appalling customer care.
Received my tv bed 4 weeks ago with a defect which I reported on the day of installation. The shelf the tv sits on isn’t level at all. It’s taken 3 weeks for tv bed to send someone to confirm there is a manufacturing defect despite many calls and emails. Now that the defect has independently been established, I am trying to get this addressed. Having just spoken to someone in the sales office, they have said the defect can be easily rectified and I responded well if that the case, why hasn’t this been sorted already? As it stands, i am very disappointed with service I have received and will seek a legal remedy if the situation isn’t resolved soon. Appalling customer care.

When you reported the issue with the TV shelf not being level, we immediately referred the matter to the manufacturer for investigation. We did not ignore your complaint or leave the matter unattended.
The issue needed to be professionally assessed to establish the cause and determine the appropriate corrective action. The manufacturer arranged for an inspection at the earliest available opportunity, based on their engineer’s availability. We have followed the necessary process and continued to pursue this matter.
We strongly disagree with your description of our customer service as appalling. We acted promptly by referring the issue to the manufacturer and have continued to work towards a resolution. It is unfair to suggest that we have not been helpful when we have taken the appropriate steps to investigate the reported defect and progress the matter.
While we acknowledge your disappointment, we cannot agree with the suggestion that your complaint has been disregarded or that we have failed to assist you. We remain committed to resolving the issue and will continue to liaise with the manufacturer regarding the corrective action required.

Bought a TV bed for my daughter. Couldn’t be happier! Excellent quality, looks a high quality bed too. Friendly customer service. Delivery was brilliant, well informed re time of delivery. Would highly recommend and would buy again from TV Beds in the future.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from TV Beds! I honestly couldn’t be happier with the service I received. The team went above and beyond to accommodate changes to my order, making the whole process completely stress-free. They also made a real effort to bring my delivery date forward as they knew I needed it sooner, which I really appreciated. Sigma Ottoman TV Bed
My wife and I purchased a small double Sigma Ottoman TV Bed for our son’s apartment. I had the job of putting the bed together when it arrived. Assembling it was straightforward, the components were clearly marked, and the instructions clear. The build quality is excellent; everything slid into place and the fixings aligned neatly. The bed frame is solid and well-engineered, the upholstered finishes are high end and the integrated TV lift is slick and quiet.
The space under the bed frame is a useful storage compartment, my son is using it to store suitcases and sports equipment. It is easily accessed by lifting the bed frame and mattress with the aid of pneumatic gas struts that are fitted to the steel frame.
The TV bed has turned the bedroom into a sleek, cinema space, with the added bonus of a large handy out of sight storage area.

I ordered a tv bed only to be sent the bed frame. There’s no way I’d pay in excess of £1300 for a bed frame alone. This doesn’t make sense. I am reporting to trading standards. Misleading information and did not state explicitly that it was only the bed that came with the order and not the tv as well.

We would like to clarify that our website is not misleading. Nowhere on our product listings does it state that a television is included unless specifically advertised as part of a promotion.
We provide customers with the option to purchase a television directly through us, along with all the relevant specifications should they prefer to purchase their own television elsewhere.
We deliver hundreds of TV beds every week without televisions, and it is extremely uncommon for us to receive feedback suggesting that a television was expected to be included.
You are, of course, more than welcome to contact Trading Standards for independent advice, and we fully respect your decision to do so.
Our customer service team has already been in correspondence with you regarding this matter and remains available should you wish to discuss further.

Tv Bed purchase
Due to having such a great experience with our first purchase of a tv bed for our Son we purchased a further 2 beds with this company. Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing, beautiful bed. Brought for my daughter and she is so happy and said it’s the coolest bed she has ever seen, I have to agree and I’m very jealous 😂. Needed to call customer service also because I just needed some help and the guy on the phone was so lovely and helpful. Defective bed and missing tv
We paid full price for a TVBed so expected to receive a good quality bed and professional service.
After a few weeks with no updates on delivery we eventually received a date. We were very excited... but this is when all the issues began.
- Delivery and installation
Window given as 11.30-13.30 so I took time off work. The delivery team finally arrived at 16.30 (only 1 call around 16.00 to say they would be late) and then took more than 3 hours! to install.
So I missed paid work for nothing!
- Poor Quality
Despite paying full price, it looks apparent that the bed being delivered was a clearance product.
There was a bed slat and connector missing and damage to the front middle of the headboard, right in your eye line as you get into bed.
Its one thing being on the back/bottom but it is a hole and around it what appears to be a burn mark, in a prominent location.
Clearly this bed has NOT been quality checked prior to being shipped otherwise this would never have cleared the warehouse.
If we wanted cheap and defective we would have got clearance stock at a third of the price.
- Missing items
What's more is that there was no TV being delivered with the TVBed!!
When questioned, I was told that the TV order was put on hold, not sure why?!
I have ever since been chasing to find out:
-when the headboard will be replaced?
-when the tv will arrive, (currently sent to wrong address)?
-when the slat will be delivered?
Customer service is like pulling teeth and no information is forthcoming. Only the standard 'thank you for your email' responses to me trying to get what I have ordered and paid for. No signs of proactive customer service anywhere!!
TVBed might be good if there are no issues with your order but if you want complete peace of mind for a quality product and service, then go elsewhere.

We would firstly like to clarify that the Chelmsford you ordered was a pre-order model, with an estimated availability date shown on our website at the time of purchase. Your delivery was arranged within this timeframe.
We apologise that the delivery team arrived later than the time slot provided. Delays can unfortunately occur, but you should have been kept better informed.
We can also reassure you that you have not received a clearance product. The Chelmsford is a brand-new model which had never previously been in stock, hence it being on pre-order. The damage was reported to us on Friday afternoon and was immediately raised with the manufacturer. From the images, this appears to be transit damage. A replacement slat has already been sent, and we contacted you this morning to confirm that a replacement headboard is being processed for exchange.
Regarding the TV, this was dispatched to the original address provided on your order before your address was changed, which unfortunately resulted in it going to the previous address.
We appreciate how frustrating it is to experience several issues with a new order and apologise for the inconvenience caused. We are actively working to resolve everything for you as quickly as possible.

I would highly recommend this company, we placed our order and received our delivery window, this was out of what the website said, so we contacted Thw customer service team, who arranged for a quicker delivery using a different courier. to insure the bed was delivered within the stated time. They advisor I have spoken with a few times is always happy to help and really understanding

Having purchased two different TV…
Having purchased two different TV ottoman beds over the last couple of years, I can honestly say what excellent customer service and support I've received.
Especially Rob, who called me straight away after I contacted them.
Rob managed to find me a matching sample of material so I could repair a small hole that accidentally happened to my daughters bed.
Would highly recommend them and would use again.

We bought the Hampton Bed, and wow the quality is amazing! Although we had a few issues with our delivery, this shouldn’t reflect on the company because it wasn’t their fault!
