I agreed a loan over 2.5 months, payable in three instalments: the first after 14 days, the second 30 days after the first, and the third 30 days after the second.

However, they took two payments within the same month, meaning money was taken earlier than expected. This put unexpected pressure on my cash flow, and I had to borrow money that same day at a higher interest rate to cover the shortfall.

I had to call, challenge this and insist on changing the third payment date; otherwise, they would have taken another payment on day 60.

What concerns me most is that this is the second time this has happened. Previously, a three-month loan term was effectively collected within just 74 days.

I understand this may be an important season for lenders, but an agreed repayment schedule should be honoured. For me, this is about trust and integrity, not simply money.

I hope the company reviews its processes and stops putting customers in this position.

Once again Will and the team at White Oaks have been fantastic. We’re a film production money, and as any small company working in the creative sector knows, accessing finance for a company like ours isn’t always straightforward. DO NOT entertain this company ! I was garuntor for a business loan back in 2021 after running the business for years successfully had a rough patch and we went into liquidation this was a family business so effected all of us going through an IVA and they would not agree to proposal we’ve been threatened with letters, people at my door , constant phone calls, even the the lady processing IVA said she was spoken to like a child and they were very aggressive and not professional at all , they have now passed this to a solicitor and the letters I have had have been nothing but heartless that has led me to have to go to impact meetings due to depression…they are the only creditor that have been so aggressive it’s took it toll on my mental health all the others have been lovely and accepted what I can afford but these will not accept £50 per month they want £250, after I am paid I only have £220 left for food and petrol per month …I have never missed a bill in my whole life but unforeseen circumstances came that were out of our control so much so my mental health councillor has given me contacts to reach out out to report for aggressive harassment, I get they want the money back but I can’t give what I haven’t got ….zero empathy, rude, aggressive people

Permanently, inexplicably spammed with offers to take a loan, so I can pay the admittedly unbearable taxes. No amount of 'unsubscribe' and block sender seem to be working.
