Just no

I’ve had a diamond lite pan for 5 years.

Despite everything they say:
- after purely normal use, using only plastic implements on the “diamond lite” pan, the coating has started to come off
- when contacting Woll about the lifetime guarantee, they told me it doesn’t cover this as coating peeling off is normal…

Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

Update:
The response from Woll only goes further to confirming the dreadful customer service. After explaining that the non-stick coating is peeling off, their response is that they “could not” do anything. It is somewhat ironic given that they are the only ones who could choose to honour a guarantee on their poor product which is not fit for purpose.

Very Disappointing Experience

I purchased a Woll cookware set in 2026 at the Home Show in New Zealand. Unfortunately, after only a few weeks of use, the pans were no longer non-stick as advertised. I have tried to contact customer service multiple times by email, phone, and even through their Facebook page, but I have not received a proper response. The phone number was not reachable, and my messages have been ignored. For a product promoted as high-quality, this has been extremely disappointing. Poor product experience and very poor customer service. I would not recommend Woll based on my experience.

Removable handles break easily

Set of 3 "Logic Steel" frying pans. Detachable handles have snapped on 2 pans after catching on wooden work surface. Clearly a point of weakness at the level of the button and potentially Idangerous when cooking. Perhaps this is why most pans on the market have fixed handles!
Handles replaced by shop (but refused to refund).

I believe the replacement handles are rather sturdier than the originals and the retailer had these in stock ( or taken from newer stock ?)

Two pans both wearing badly

I bought two pans which were part of a set from the Home Show in Hamilton NZ in 2020. The purchase was registered as advised so I have a guarantee. Ha ha now the pans are wearing badly I can't get through by phone to Will no one ever picks up and my three emails and FB messages have not been acknowledged let alone replied to. I am very very disappointed as the cost of the set was over $400 and I was assured of top end quality!!

Woll Concept Pro - Do not buy it

I bought a set of Woll Concept Pro stainless steel pots with lids before Christmas. After cooking, the bottom had surface damage. I complained about the pots. However, after receiving a new set, the defect appeared again. I note that I cooked frozen dumplings in one pot for 10 minutes. In the other pot, I cooked vegetable soup. In both pots, the non-stick layer peeled off in several places on the bottom. Approximately 5-20 mm circles. I returned the pots and got my money back. As I found out, the pots are made in China. My trust in this previously high-quality brand was severely shaken.

Addition after Woll's reaction: the loss of material in the bottom of the pots was tangible, measurable and I have documented it all. It is definitely not a visual residue or discoloration. The seller withdrew Woll products from sale based on my complaint. The manufacturer Woll states directly on the website woll.de that these pots are made of five layers and until recently there were pictures of cross-sections of the pot directly on their website, so why are they now claiming the opposite? Where did the cross-sections of the pot disappear to? Has lying become the norm? China definitely does not produce pots of the quality you think, do not believe it and test it with your own eyes before you lie publicly here. People, do not buy this brand, it is the only way to force them to produce quality things again.

We would like to clarify a few points: The pots in the WOLL Concept Pro series are stainless steel pots without a non-stick coating. These products therefore do not have a coating that could peel off. In some cases, cooking processes, starch or minerals in the water can cause visual residues or discolouration on the bottom of the pot, which can be mistakenly interpreted as damage, but do not represent material detachment.

The pots are manufactured in accordance with German and European food and quality guidelines. Production takes place at specialised manufacturers in China, which have very advanced manufacturing processes for high-quality stainless steel products and meet the relevant quality standards.

We are sorry that you have not had a satisfactory experience with the product. As already done, we have of course taken back the pots and refunded the purchase price so that the process could be completed without any complications for you.

If you have any questions about products or the correct use of stainless steel cookware in the future, we will be happy to assist you at any time.

Woll Pan Failure

Purchased the pan September 2025 at an Auckland Home Show and it looked fantastic. First thing we did when got it home was try to fry eggs with no oil. Well they didn't slide on the pan as they had in the demonstration instead stuck to the pan so I wonder if the demonstrator had oiled the pan and just said not using oil or we got a dud or worse we were scammed. Tried calling the phone number of distributor in New Zealand a few times, no-one picks up.
When you buy a high priced product you expect it to perform more than just three to five months before it starts having big issues. We experienced issues from day one but persevered and just started using oil as the demonstrator said you can cook at higher temperatures than most non-stick pans without damaging the service. The important thing is to make sure if using oil to use an oil that has a 'high smoke' ratio which we did. Never used metal utensils and always washed it with hot soapy water. The demonstrator used a metal utensil demonstrating how strong the coating was. So why is it sticking? My cheaper pans are doing a way better job. Very disappointed with this product. Sent an email to the supplier still waiting for a response.

Great pans and customer service

Great pans, and great customer service, too.
We had an issue with the coating of the pan short after the end of the warranty. The item was exchanged.

I purchased a pot at Auckland home show…

I purchased a pot at Auckland home show in September. Unfortunately, I did not get the complete lid/knob kit. Since then I have been emailing and calling, leaving messages for the parts to be sent - but go unanswered. I simply want to be able to use my new pot !! How is this so difficult to contact me and send the parts - I am very disappointed with the service, the price I paid and the lack of commitment from WOLL!! I will not be recommending and hate to think what happens in the case if warranty ( which I believe my case is)!!!

Woll Diamond Lite wok 34cm, poor quality, worse customer service

We’ve bought Woll Diamond Lite Fixed Handle Convention al Wok 34cm With Lid. We were happy at first assuming the good quality and the size of the wok, but the wok didn’t last long, non stick peeled less than a year, saying disappointed is understatement given it’s made in Germany and a promise of a life long wok, even worse, dealing with the customer service is painful, “it’s caused by overheating, not covered by warranty” the ridiculous thing is our stove doesn’t even have the normal heating at all, not full flames for a normal stir fry need it. We hand washed the wok always for the inside and not using daily. It should have been a joy when purchasing/ using a top quality brand, not this level of disappointment.

Deep Non Stick Frying Pan With Glass Lid 'Diamond Lite' by WOLL-28 cm

I contacted Woll on 26 July 2025 regarding a warranty claim, as my frying pan began sticking and peeling in under a year. Woll confirmed they would provide a replacement, but several months later I still haven’t received it. Despite repeated follow-ups, I’ve only been given vague explanations. Extremely disappointing level of service.

Very poor Service

I purchased two pans with lids recently, one lid broke and I contacted Woll NZ and paid for a new lid about 8 weeks ago, I have contacted them via email and telephone message twice with no reply since as I still have not had the lid that I paid for replaced.

I’ve had two Woll non-stick pans

I’ve had two Woll non-stick Diamond pans. Both started pitting and peeling within 12 months. I’ve used them carefully, with wooden utensils and hand wash only. Waste of money.

Don't buy, not fit for purpose.

Bought in Jan 2024 as a 'life long pan'. Only one person using it, not even daily, never been in the dishwasher. The whole coating has peeled away and un-usable. They are blaming using the wrong oil and too hot- which it never has- but honestly, it's a frying pan. It should be able to withstand a generic ceramic hob. Nevertheless, this was never explained or highlighted to me when buying such pan as I would never have spent £129 on it! Don't buy. Customer service is useless, pan not fit for purpose and warranty means nothing. 29cm Diamond Lite Frying Pan.

Disappointment with value for money

Disappointment with value for money
I bought this Woll frying pan about two or three years ago, for nearly $200. At first, I was really delighted: it seemed to be of high quality and cooking with it was enjoyable. Unfortunately, disappointment quickly took over.

Now everything sticks to the bottom, despite careful maintenance. The surface is all scratched, even though I have never used metal utensils inside. On top of that, I find it concerning for health reasons, since I’m not sure whether toxic substances might be released. During a demonstration at Costco, I was advised to use an “Oxy” product, brought to a boil, to clean it. But even after following those recommendations, the pan remained damaged and scratched.

It’s all the more unfortunate because the pan did have some interesting qualities: it heats quickly, it’s thick, and it can go in the oven. But for such an expensive product, I find the durability very poor, and I sincerely regret my purchase.
