I purchased a bed bundle, mattress, base and bed head from Amart Benowa in July 2026. After having several issues with the invoices not being correct, the delivery was a disaster. The first date I was given the truck apparently broke down and I get these things happen so I was told would be the next day. I was sent tracking for the delivery and the truck actually pulled up out the front of my house and we physically saw it and also on the tracking and then they took off again without the drivers getting out the truck or speaking to me and all day it kept saying a time which kept getting extended and I was repeatedly calling and getting no answers and no callbacks with any results. Eventually the tracking said cancelled and dropped out at the end of the day. On calling the store I purchased the bedding from late that day, they promised they would look into the next day. I had someone organised to dismantle my old bed and were waiting at my house to assemble the new bed which cost me extra as they hung around waiting and consequently had no bed to sleep on that night. The next day I had to end up calling the store again and the salesperson ended up getting someone to collect a new delivery from their store and bring to my house. As part of the order, an incorrect mattress was delivered to my house and when I called the store I was told I had received an upgrade. This was definitely not an upgrade, it was a cheaper mattress to the one I trialled and was sold in store. I ended up emailing the store twice with my issues, the invoice not being correct, the incorrect mattress being delivered and had no responses whatsoever. After quite a delay I ended up going on the customer care chat online and they advised me to call the store directly. A couple days later I received a text and email advising my items were in stock and to reply advising when I would like delivery. So no phone calls from the store in like a month of me trying to resolve the issues. Just an impersonal email about delivery which I was told could only be a Friday. Never received a text the day before delivery with a time just a tracking on the day and then a delivery of the correct mattress, so no advice they would be collecting the incorrect one and to have it ready. Anyway the delivery drivers were great and when contacting the store after this about my cash back voucher Jacqui was very prompt and helpful and I will say I am very happy with my new bed after all the disappointing customer service I DIDN’T get after my purchase.

Very disappointed with my purchase from Amart Furniture. The item was delivered faulty, and the overall quality was not what I expected. I would expect a new product to arrive in perfect condition and meet a reasonable standard of quality. This has been a frustrating experience, especially having to spend time reporting the issue and arranging a resolution. Amart needs to improve its quality control and ensure faulty or poorly finished products are not delivered to customers.
