Tried to purchase a kitchen appliance with delivery to a different address to the billing address. Not possible on their website and so went to a different supplier

I purchased a reflex watch in March, it was faulty, I took it back for a replacement, 3 months later it's not working. Took it back to Argos asking for a refund & was told that I could only have a repair or replacement. The sales assistant said it looked like I had knocked the screen, there was not even a scratch on the screen, so I have no clue what she was talking about.
I contacted customer service, who informed me that I could have a refund, but it was at the discretion of the staff in store to decide! Suggested I go to a different store and try to get a refund.
Totally unacceptable!

This morning I ordered an item from Argos and I was told that I could pick it up at 4.00pm. The payment was taken from my bank account immediately.
At 4.07pm I received an email to say that the order has been cancelled and no reason given. I was also told that if I still wanted the item I could re order it, so it obviously wasn't out of stock.
They then informed me that my payment would be refunded IN 5 WORKING DAYS.
Why not simply re order it for me and keep the money?
Is this a scam?
I called their helpline and eventually got to speak to a person who put me on hold, then cut me off.
No more Argos for me.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong size tv unit from inside Sainsbury’s Westwood Cross store. When I got home from the shop my son realised it would be too small. He immediately phoned to cancel the order. The next day the delivery man came complaining that the unit was very heavy and should be carried by two people. I apologised and said the order had been cancelled. He walked off with the unit. I would not have been able to take it back to the shop as I am disabled and don’t drive.
I phoned Argos and they said I cannot be refunded until it is investigated which could take 45 working hours. Needless to say a week later and I am short of the funds and my tv is still sitting on the floor.

A few weeks ago I purchased a Karcher steam cleaner from Argos. I tried it and when it didn't work my husband returned it to Argos. He was served by a very rude unhelpful store assistant, he asked to speak to someone in charge but was refused. Rather than get into a heated argument .y husband left the machine with purchase details and left the store. It has been over 4 weeks now and I have not received a refund. I have made numerous calls and left details on their website received 2 reference numbers and told my query would take up to 48 hours but I have heard nothing back from Argos. Additionally my account has not been credited with the cost of the machine. I am finding the whole experience very frustrating and I'm being totally ignored. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired

I ordered a washing machine online with service needed for installation and recycling of old machine. The staff contacted me the day before, on the day itself contacting me to check my address. When they arrived the staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. The installation and recycling went very smoothly and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I returned a gift as it had a very large yellow bar code sticker on top of pot. Looked terrible. Was not allowed a refund only a gift card as I had only a screen shot of my order etc and not an actual e mail. Now trying to use it and everything suitable I try to order is out of stock!!!!

Tried to order something on line said my payment couldnt be processed try again 3 times!looked at bank account charged 3 times!phoned customer service complaints after eventually getting through actually thought I was talking to a robot!couldbt understand a word!!

I had cause to return an item to Argos within Sainsbury’s at Kingsgate Retail Park East Kilbride. A young girl Emma served me. (Monday 17 th March 3.30 pm ) She was a credit to Argos. Excellent customer service. So pleasant and helpful. Well done Emma.

Perfect service

I ordered a coffee machine which was £1,500. The box arrived broken & dented therefore I haven’t even bothered to check the coffee machine inside. Now they won’t physically collect it as it’s a “high value item”. But I don’t drive & due to my shirt pattern the stores aren’t open when I leave for work & are closed when I get home.
At least at home my partner can answer the door for collection. But I have to be the one to go into the store for a refund as it’s on my Argos account. Why won’t someone just come and collect it? So am I meant to have a potentially broke coffee machine & pay £1,500 for it all because they can’t arrange for someone to collect it?
