We needed a formal diagnosis for our 19…

We needed a formal diagnosis for our 19 year old of dyslexia before he starts university. We were contacted by Jemma Humphrey’s and had booked a date for assessment. The price was very good in comparison to a quote we had from dyslexia association. Our son found Jemma very helpful and patient, she listened to him to get a full picture of his needs not just assessing but looking at past difficulties with education. We reviewed the report 5 days later and can now set her recommendations into practice to help support our son at university. Very fast response to questions and clear report. I had my conservatory converted to a…

I had my conservatory converted to a solid roof and received the warranty on 31 May 2024. The roof included a single-glazed plastic skylight. At the time of completion, the work appeared to be of a good standard.

During the first winter, I experienced significant condensation around the roof and had to mop up water daily. I initially assumed this was due to the single-glazed skylight.

By the end of winter 2025/2026, the problems had become much more serious. Damp patches appeared around the skylight, cracks developed in the plaster ceiling, and there was clear evidence of water damage.

As the roof is covered by a 10-year warranty, I contacted Richard in March 2026. My text messages were ignored. When I eventually reached him by phone, he said the line was bad and that he would call me back, but he never did. I tried calling again and was told he was on holiday. After waiting a further three weeks with no contact, I sent another text in June asking him to honour the warranty, explaining that I would otherwise leave a review.

Richard then arranged a site visit but failed to attend. Since then, he has ignored my texts, emails, and WhatsApp messages.

The keys also became stuck in the locks, but as they were only covered by a one-year warranty, I understand I cannot claim for those repairs.

In my experience, the 10-year warranty has proved to be worthless because I have been unable to get the company to respond or carry out any remedial work. It is now July, and I have no option but to pay another contractor to investigate and repair the leaking roof, damaged plaster, and any hidden damage within the roof structure.

The leads are mostly made up…

The leads are mostly made up and they don't honor the refund guarantee. You very rarely get a reply. I have never been able to turn a lead into a job . avoid at all cost .and if you don't use your credits they expire with no refund. I lost £50.00 of credit. They have an expiration date. Said so on the app . Don't waste your money.

Regarding your comments about credits, Bark credits do not expire while your account remains active. If you've seen something in the app that suggests otherwise or believe credits have been removed incorrectly, we'd like to investigate this for you.

Scammers use this site! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

Scammers use this site! I paid £600 for one hour of hedge trimming, 'professionals' did not do work agreed and left in a hurry.

When I complained to Bark, they were unsympathetic and difficult to deal with. They contacted the 'professional', without asking me, an would not reveal what they said, not even a redacted version.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE, it is used by aggressive scammers. Find your own tradespeople through word of mouth and local advertisement. Do not use sites like this that do not vet their service providers.

Bark have replied, below, saying to contact their team to discuss further, but their team is not replying to me anyway. Thank you for the AI reply that offers absolutely nothing useful. DO NOT USE BARK!

Too Many Scam Calls

Posted a job for a marketing freelancer to assist with my brand. I received tons of scammy like calls and text after I told them I wasn’t interested in their services. And still today, they are still contacting me from different numbers via text and calls as I can identify the voice and fictitious names. They all have accents from the same country. Very disappointing and disturbing how these companies keep calling! I will no longer post on Bark as I’m sure they are sharing/selling my information with Lord knows who.
