Watch out! Fraud!!!

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. We bought a carpet from them, didn't like it, so we wrote to send it back. Everything was fine until they got the carpet and refused to give us our money back! Their excuse was totally ridiculous; they said they gave us a return label but wouldn't accept the return and that we shouldn't have sent it back until they told us to!

I have purchased a carpet at the end of December 2025. Decided to return it as it didn’t fit the room. It is now end of March 2026, and I am still waiting for their confirmation if they can pick up the carpet.

Poor quality and bad support experience

If you want to buy from this company don’t expect them to accept the poor quality you might receive when you order a carpet from them.
The rug I ordered was a size 200cm x 300cm. The rug looks very cheap for the price. It seems as if the carpet is made in a hurry - it has so many fault’s and I wonder for how long it lasts?
The support knows it is complex for the customer to return the product therefore they offer only 5% in refund which is not fair compared to the poor quality. If accepted the case is closed and can not be reopened. I would not recommend!

Terrible provider

Terrible provider. Carpet was never delivered. I am in conversation with customer support for over 3 months now and pending. They blame the logisitics company and wont refund.

Absolutely awful experience

Absolutely awful experience. The Rug bought has worn badly and I contacted Benuta about it. The aftercare has been appalling - they don’t want to know. They offered some measly compensation so in my book they accept there’s an issue but then haven’t paid it and don’t respond to messages. I would never use this company again

Cheap and poor quality

We bought two small pure wool rugs that pilled so badly that large flakes of wool were scattered throughout the house. When we asked to return the rugs, customer service claimed this was normal and would go away after 3-4 months. (!!)

Customer service is rude and insinuates that we are not good at using a vacuum cleaner.

Four months ago I ordered two rug…

Four months ago I ordered two rug samples from Benuta for a total price of 19.90.

When they hadn't arrived after a few weeks, I contacted them. "They're on the way" and "They're in transit."

It's four months later. Still don't have them. I'm trying to get a refund, but at this point, whether I do or not I want to warn others that Benuta apparently isn't the most reliable rug company online.

Sh***y company with overpriced products

Ordered 2 y ago the carpet Kindervloerkleed Savannah Taupe Afmetingen: 120x170 cm Art.nr.: 60007311-57101-24366.
We took really good care of the carpet and only gentle vacuumed. However, the carpet started to loose the fibers before the 2 years.

The sh***y customer service answered: 'Within the EU, products generally have a two-year legal warranty. However, in the Netherlands (as in Germany), after the first year the burden of proof shifts to the customer — meaning that in the second year it needs to be shown that the issue already existed at the time of delivery.'

The carpet wasn't by any means cheap so be careful with this company selling overpriced products and offering zero support.

The company dispatched my parcel to the wrong address. No one informed me where my parcel was. Benuta did not reply for weeks. A month later and they will still not initiate a refund. No apology or effort. I will never deal with them again

My rug was ordered two weeks ago and it hasn't been shipped. I contacted Benuta to ask about this and discovered they only have an email service- you can't talk to a human. So I sent in a ticket (email service) and they still haven't replied. Very disappointing considering the money for the rug went out of my account immediately.

If I could give no stars I would. If anyone sees this, DO NOT buy from this company. Stay away please. They have terrible products that can be harmful. The carpets are not normal carpets, they seem to have very odd plastic fibers, over a year later and this carpet is still shedding. I have another carpet from elsewhere and I use the same vacuum attachment and I have no issue. I wouldn't want any child or animal near the carpet I ordered. I tried to keep using it but it's become so terrible I just want to throw it away, wouldn't even give it to someone for free let alone be as unethical as Benuta and sell it! I paid so much money for this it feels like absolute theft. Please use your money for something else. DO NOT purchase anything here!!!

Terrible Customer Service and Zero Accountability

I ordered a large 3-meter rug from @benuta_ch, only to receive an order confirmation with the wrong color. I contacted customer service within 5 minutes to fix their mistake, but instead of correcting it, they told me they’ll ship the wrong item anyway! Now, I’m expected to receive it, return it, wait for a refund, and reorder—all because of their error.

This is not only terrible customer service but also an environmental waste. They ignored the chance to prevent an unnecessary shipment, and it shows a complete lack of responsibility.

I can’t recommend this company—be warned, if they mess up, you’ll be the one dealing with the headache.

I ordered a rug on 13th September


I ordered a rug on 13th September. Lead time said 6-8 days.

It is now the 3rd October and I have received nothing.

I reached out to Benuta on 30th September to chase, got a reply on 1st Oct from IRENE LYNGS in Customer Service saying they asked parcel force to re deliver on 2nd October. Nothing delivered.
I reached out again (2nd Oct) and advised no delivery received. No response.

It is the 3rd Oct, no delivery, still no response.

I have no clue why this company gets good reviews. They have had £60 odd of my money, and I have no rug, and their re delivery is non existent.

There are no telephone numbers for you to call.

They look like a U.K. company, with U.K. on webpage- but they ship from Germany.

I welcome their response to my complaint. I feel they have not resolved the issue promptly, they communicate only after 3 days pass, and the communication is false.

Please ship another rug if this is lost in transit and claim on your insurance.

Do not buy from them

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They just canceled my order on the day of delivery, due to a labeling error on their end and didn’t notify me about it - I simply got a message that the order was cancelled. When I called to follow up, I waited for them to pick up for many minutes and the (very lovely) person said there is nothing they could do. The manager who eventually called me back was incredibly rude and argumentative, asking, “What do you want from me?!” without offering any apology or assistance. I was left without the product and felt completely unsupported throughout the process. This level of service is extremely unreliable. I cannot recommend this company at all.
