I recently passed my driving test first time due to my instructor Lewis Atkins. If you live in the Dudley are, I highly recommend Lewis as an instructor. I had around 7 months of lessons and was a very nervous driver thinking I wouldn’t be able to pass at all but he never gave up on me and was very patient and determined to make me succeed, I only had one hour lessons a week and still managed to pass, he’d often go over our hour lessons if i wasn’t understanding something which made the process even easier as I wasn’t forced out of the car or rushed in any way. I passed 4th May with only 4 minors thanks to him!

I had good journey with Mr. Gareth, me as a new driver with Zero experience, he guide me and teach very well. He as old driver with a lot of experience, he know every different situation on the road how to pass save and by the rules, so I can say he show me a lot of things.
I will strong recommend Mr. Gareth to be your instructor and if you listen him very well, you can pass the practical test even from first time.
Thank you very much Mr. Gareth and I will looking for you when the time come with my partner to become a driver.

Gareth (Cardiff) is an amazing instructor! Can’t recommend him enough😄 without him I wouldn’t have passed my driving test; I am very thankful. He was patient with me, explained everything well and I could actually see that he cared about teaching me well and not just seeing it as a job! Gareth is the best!😄

I would highly recommend Gareth Lewis (Cardiff) as an instructor. Gareth is a highly experienced knowledgeable instructor, with a very friendly, kind persona. He makes you feel confident and relaxed and it was easy to learn with him. He is punctual and efficient and I’m so pleased I had him as my instructor.

I started learning to drive with Gareth Lewis in Cardiff at the end of August 2022, having previously had a few lessons in Hull in 2015/16 which put me off driving.

Gareth broke things down and explained things in a way that was easy to understand and remember, using rules and alliteration to help make things stick. He built my confidence, and was very flexible & understanding when I moved out of Wales and was commuting via train to my lessons (a testament to how good an instructor he is!).

Without him, I would never have passed my test first time, with just one minor, or become the safe, confident driver that I am now.

I started my lessons in December 2019 pre-COVID, but due to the various lockdowns and other restrictions, I ended up stopping and starting lessons multiple times and didn't end up sitting my test till the summer of 2021!

Gareth was incredibly calm, patient and helpful throughout the entire time, and with my engineering background he knew just how to get me to understand things in the right way. He got the core skills locked down right very quickly, then moved onto the manoeuvres and correcting other bad habits I'd picked up.

I passed my test on the second try, with a few extra refresher lessons, and then completed Pass Plus too a few weeks after.

In short, great guy, brilliant instructor, wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Massive Thank you to Nadeem (Colindale, NW9). Just passed my test after 14 hours. He is the best instructor I have met. He is very patient and calm which helps stay focused when learning and during your test.

Very thorough in his teaching and doesn’t waste your time or money.
100% recommend.

I passed my test at the first time of asking with Gareth Lewis in Cardiff. You know you've hit the jackpot when it comes to finding an instructor when you feel a little bit sad at the thought of passing because it means you won't have any more lessons! I was very nervous about learning to drive, but at no point did I feel unsupported or unsafe. Gareth immediately seemed to 'get' the best way for me to learn, and I went from being terrified of driving to looking forward to my lessons. I'm so grateful for his kindness, patience and sense of humour.

Just passed my test first time yesterday with the best instructor- Gareth Lewis who helped me through every mistake I made and also told me how to not do them again he’s a very kind full person to talk with if anyone does ever do BSM driving school I should recommend you to go to Gareth lewis!!

I passed my driving test yesterday. Gareth is a very very good instructor. He not just teaches the driving knowledge and skills, but also explain the reason behind to do so and driving attitude. He is patience and has a heart to train you to be considerated driver. I can say that every driving is a new experience and a gain.

Strongly recommend Gareth Lewis if you want lessons with BSM, he’s a top instructor. Gives excellent advice and shows patience so doesn’t make you feel under pressure. Also got a really nice car to learn in, especially for the 4 manoeuvres you have to do for the test.

Doing my lessons with Gareth was amazing as his methods of teaching were really helpful. He’s always remained calm even if I made silly mistakes and ensured I understood each step. Always was on time and was friendly which made the nerves go. I passed first time so big thank you!

I strongly recommend Mr Gareth for an automatic driving lessons. Mr Gareth really takes his time to teach the basics and the fun of driving in general. Mr Gareth is very patient and clear when explaining and teaching. His methods for all 4 of the manoeuvre works every time. I was well prepared and confident during my driving test and thanks Mr Gareth I passed with zero fault.

I have held an international licence for a year now, however it was restricted to the right side of the road. My 4 lessons with Mr. Gareth Lewis were simply top notch and much needed. The patience displayed by Mr. Gareth aided me with gaining both confidence and maturity with my driving skills that eventually led to me passing the practical in the first try. If I were to recommend, this is definitely worth the experience.

If you're looking for automatic driving lessons in the Cardiff area then I highly recommend Gareth. I'm a mature student (early 30s) so I opted for automatic lessons. Really takes his time to teach the fundamentals and basics thoroughly, very patient and clear when explaining and teaching. Got me through my driving practical and more importantly feeling safe and confident from the solid foundations that Gareth has taught me. Thanks Gareth!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with BSM. My instructors name was Gareth and he was an amazing teacher! He's very helpful,good at explaining and patient! At the end of every lesson with him I always felt like I had learned something very important. He made me feel confident in driving since he educated me on how to stay safe in all situations! Very happy and had a great experience !!

I passed my test with 2 minors yesterday and I want to say a big thank you to my instructor Gareth Lewis. Who is a very experienced, professional and patient driving instructor.

He explains things clearly and concisely and sometimes he uses different tools/ways to help you to understand. It was easy to understand and apply his methods in driving, which can make driving much easier.

I also found he is really helpful as he can always spot the things that need be improved and then offer a solution to help you.

He is also a well organised person as he is always on time for the lessons.

I would recommend him if you are in Cardiff area and thank you again to Gareth.

I passed with BSM instructor Gareth Lewis in Cardiff area. Very experienced instructor, teaches in a very organised manner. With use of video recording throughout the lessons, I found it helpful seeing my mistakes on video.

I’ve had a fantastic experience learning how to drive by instructor Gareth Lewis. His calm attitude and patience towards my learning has allowed me to feel more calm and more confident when driving a car in both my lessons and my test. His techniques and advice for how to drive a car and for how to complete various manoeuvres, has made me a more capable and a better driver on the roads. In addition to this, if I had any problems with certain aspects of my driving, Gareth would be open and happy to help me improve those issues. For example I had struggled with clearance, and when I told Gareth my concerns about this, we focused our lessons on improving it. Since then I have greatly improved on clearance and have improved on my judgement when approaching cars in narrow roads.

Because of Gareth’s tutoring, I was able to pass my test without any faults. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to learn how to drive.
