Gareth is an excellent driving instructor. Not only an excellent driving instructor but a friendly and great person. He worked with me to prepare me thoroughly to pass the exam, which I did. No amount of words could do justice to his expertise and technique to pass. I will always hold him to high regard.

I took a break between first learning how to drive and resuming and, subsequently, passing my test.

My instructor Gareth Lewis was a night and day difference between my previous instructor.
Everything he explained was as clear and simple as possible and yet he was always patient and never scolded you for making a mistake - always came across as friendly throughout.
Because of the way he taught me, I was able to pass my test first time with only 2 minors.

I may only be able to speak about BSM in the Cardiff area but I have not heard bad things about them from friends and family who have also used them.
I believe the rates are a bit more expensive than other instructors (at the time I was paying £33 per hour and 2 hour lessons were minimum) but I certainly did not feel it was an unfair amount (compared to other instructors as opposed to historical prices).
The website is simple and easy to use and topping up and booking lessons was a breeze with detailed notifications being sent to you by text and by email

I had the pleasure of having Gareth Lewis as my instructor. And it turned out to be the best practical learning experience of my adult life!

His approach is very calm and collected which was exactly what I needed. He had faith in my abilities when I was doubting myself.
It is evident that he has years of experience in the field and knows how to get things done !

I had Gareth Lewis as my instructor and he really is five star he got me to a place where I passed first time last week ! He was always so calm, helpful, supportive and patient and always had faith in me even when at times I didn’t have any in myself. Every second of my lessons were always beneficial and anything I struggled with he would find a way that would work and help me to understand and learn them. He works so hard to help you become a confident and safe driver and will always put his all in !

I have passed my driving test recently and I can’t say how grateful I am to Gareth. He is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine your areas of weakness. I am thankful to him for transforming me into confident driver on the road. If you want the best driving instructor in Cardiff, look no further than Gareth Lewis at BSM. Due to Gareth’s professionalism and friendly approach to teaching, I was able to pass my test first time with just 3 minors!
It was so refreshing to find a driving instructor that would be honest about my weakness’s and work on some tips and tricks to overcome them even when I doubted myself. I can now say I’m a confident driver and I know I will remember what he has taught me for life. Highly recommended.

Passed my exam 2 days ago. Gareth has been so patient in teaching me and just so passionate with what he does. He explained how passing can actually change a person's life and just give that independence. He is just very accomodating and tries to be flexible despite his busy schedule. It was sort of a last minute booking for my 2nd driving test after failing the first one, a week ago and he still managed to fit me in and also made a way so I can have another lesson before the test.

My instuctor Gareth helped me to pass my test and showed me how to be a good driver.

I started learning with Gareth Lewis after an unsuccessful attempt at the driving test.
I had seen good reviews online for Gareth , completely agree with them.
He explains thing in a very methodical , easy to understand way. The use of tools such as drawing in iPad, toy car and reviewing mistakes on video is very helpful too.
He soon picked up that “ Rushing “ was my weak point and suggested I used commentary driving technique. That really helped me to focus and helped prevent rushing. I used it out loud in my test at the major junctions /roundabouts and I could tell it made a good impression on the examiner as well as got me through the driving test with only 4 Minors!

Avoid using this company at all cost Simon Yelleing is a very rude instructor, he cancelled on me because it was a bank holiday, he is very unprofessional and he refused to take to my my driving test with months of notice, this company will try and spoon as much money out of you and not let you take your test, the worst part about this is arguing with him and him leaving me stranded at the Waitros / John Lewis car park in a emotional state, bare in mind I live in Felixstowe/ trimly I’ve already put in a complaint about this and they haven’t even gotten back to me in almost 2 weeks very bad company very unprofessional very bad quality of service

I was taught by Instructor Gareth Lewis in Cardiff through BSM, my experience was brilliant. Gareth is patient and calm and explains everything really well. Can’t recommend him enough!

Amazing I had Gareth and he was amazing. His style of teaching just made it so easy to learn and only took me just under two months to pass. My previous private instructors just made me feel not wanted and like I had to rush but with this time around it was perfect. I have been learning to drive on and off for 8 years with multiple driving instructors that made me feel I did not want to continue to learn. I then decided to take a crash course with PassMeFast and they blessed me with Gareth Lewis. Gareth has been so supportive, made me believe in myself and gave me that confidence to drive. I cannot recommend anyone better, thanks to Gareth I have passed my driving test.

Got assigned to BSM via the PassMeFast service & had Gareth Lewis as my ADI.

Excellent instructor, great at gauging your skill right from the beginning so that your lessons are paced well.

I had 35 hours booked and Gareth was great at covering plenty of routes, giving mock exams & pointing out areas that often cause serious faults.

On my first attempt, I failed with only 4 minors and 1 serious fault. Silly error on my part & I'm sure I could've passed the first time if I'd been a little more patient during my test.
After a few more lessons with Gareth, I passed on my second attempt with no minors!

I didn't do any driving outside of our lessons, so passed with a total of 47 hours in the car.

I am really grateful for what I have been through from the beginning. I felt comfortable doing the lessons with the amazing instructor Gareth Lewis. From the beginning, he gave me the confidence and he believed in me. We have smashed it. I have passed with one minor fault. He has experience on the test routes and the hot spots which the examiners look for it. He has guided me through all the tricks of the roads and the exam. It was a very comfortable and amazing car.
