I started my lessons and I was so nervous, but the way Gareth explains everything makes you very comfortable in a car. I started my lessons with absolutely no knowledge on a car, I hadn’t even sat behind the wheel of one, He’s very friendly and you can have a laugh with him, he will happily have a conversation with you and will answer any question you have.

I am beyond happy that Gareth was my teacher, I don’t think I would’ve passed if not for his teachings and confidence in me, always assuring me that I was more capable than I thought I was.

I’ll always remember my experiences learning to drive with Gareth, I might have been a ball of nerves sometimes, but he got me through everything and made me believe that I could do it.

I have recently passed my driving test with 1 minor and all thanks to my instructor Gareth Lewis in Cardiff.

Gareth is very professional, friendly and has been really accommodating. I found booking my lessons and test date with him a hassle free experience.

I started as a nervous driver but quickly started to build confidence and enjoy driving. Gareth is very patient, he always remained calm when I made errors and gave feedback with explanation which hugely helped me to understand and improve.

Gareth’s teaching is aimed at making you a good and safe driver as against just focussing on passing the test.

He made sure that I had experience of driving on different roads like dual carriageways, lanes, busy streets etc along with driving in different conditions like daylight/dark/rain.

Gareth made sure I feel confident in making decisions and remained calm when I made mistakes. One point that I would like to emphasise is that even though I had nil confidence in my driving, I felt really safe learning with Gareth.

Overall, I can say that it has been a great experience for me and I have thoroughly enjoyed learning with Gareth.

I had 30 hours of lessons spread out over only 3 weeks. My instructor Gareth Lewis was accommodating and very professional, I was very nervous before starting lessons but quickly started enjoying them and Building confidence thanks to Gareth. I passed first time thanks to his teaching.

My instructor Gareth was absolutely brilliant! He explained everything very clearly each lesson and was calm and patient when mistakes were made and helped me correct them. He was always reliable and was great company in the car making the lessons really enjoyable. Passed first time with 0 faults!

My instructor was Gareth. I happened to manage to book a lesson with him all through a bit of luck. Luck was definitely on my side that day. I’m probably one of the most nervous people he had ever taught if not the most nervous. All due to personal circumstances. Gareth was very kind, patient but very knowledgable. His teaching method is brilliant and worked so well for me. Any mistakes I made he would explain very easily how to correct them. I passed my test 1st time on the 12th of this month with one minor so was buzzing. He’s always on time and never let me down once, which meant a lot as I had been messed around by other instructors. I would highly recommend him to anyone for lessons. A brilliant teacher and just a lovely man. Thanks for everything x

I was so happy that I passed my driving practical test first time, thanks to my driving instructor Gareth Lewis. He was very helpful and understanding. He pointed out to me while driving all the details even the smallest of them. I felt at ease driving and gained confidence as the lessons went on and he was very patient with me, he made sure we covered everything before my test !! Very positive and enjoyable experience 👍🏼💯.

Gareth did an amazing job and helped me overcome hurdles and problems that I was facing, I would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for driving lessons as he was very considerate and understanding, he also was very good at helping correct different mistakes I was making and made sure I was 100% ready to take my test.

I had a really good experience with my instructor Gareth. He was very patient and always taught me what to do in every situation. I passed first time with 36 hours but I was ready a long time before because Gareth.

Passed my first attempt, all thanks to Gareth Lewis. The lessons were always on time and very flexible aswell as I had to reschedule some due to work related matters. Overall, with his help I was able to gain confidence in my driving, where at first I had no sense of positioning at all to being able to know where I should be in any given situation.

I passed my driving test a few days ago and for that I’m grateful to my driving instructor Gareth Lewis (Cardiff). Gareth is professional, patient, friendly and very experienced. His teaching style and knowledge helped me boost my confidence and become a safe driver.

At the end of each lesson, we discussed what went well and any areas of improvements - which helped me become knowledgeable.

Leading up to my driving test, we had a few mock tests, went though the “show me, tell me” questions which made me feel at ease.

I highly recommend Gareth as an instructor.

I was taught to drive by Gareth Lewis in Cardiff and passed my driving test first time. He also taught my brother and he passed his test second time. I’ve been learning to drive off and on for years but never ended up taking my test, I had a lot of instructors who let me down. Gareth was a fantastic instructor, he was friendly, professional, encouraging and very experienced, he had a really calming influence and always made me feel safe behind the wheel when I was out and about with him. He also had a brilliant, simplified way of teaching manoeuvres compared to my experience of other instructors who seemed to over-complicate them. He was really accommodating if I needed to reschedule or if I wanted to add in additional lessons. Prices for lessons are competitive and I was also offered a discount when block booking. Fantastic experience. If you’re learning to drive in Cardiff, ask for Gareth Lewis at BSM.

Gareth was an incredible, patient, and approachable instructor who installed confidence and safety in my driving.
Because of this, I passed first time with zero faults after 20 hours! A friend of mine recommended Gareth and I couldn’t of asked for a better instructor. He always put me at ease when navigating tricky things such as roundabouts and I nailed all 4 manoeuvres thanks to him! I 100% recommend you choose Gareth whether you want to learn manual or auto. Thank you again!

My instructor was Gareth and he was brilliant, I had a great experience. Everything was explained to me clearly during lessons and as a result I was able to pick things up quickly. My lessons were always frequent and before my driving test Gareth made sure I had a 2 hour lesson the day before and an hour before the test. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor I highly recommend.

I had Gareth Lewis as my instructor and I can honestly say he is the best instructor in S. Wales, heck, maybe the whole World!!

I suffer with anxiety and mobility issues which never gave me hope in being able to drive.
Gareth made me feel my most comfterable and confident from my 1st lesson with him.
He is by far, the most patient, kindest, genuine person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and learning to drive with.
He installed so much confidence and knowledge and helped me become a safe and knowledgeable driver.
He has the patience of a Saint and the most reassuring, kind personality.

If you're based around Cardiff/The Vale, I couldn't recommend Gareth the most, you're not just getting the best instructor, you're getting an amazing friend.

Passed my driving test recently with no major or minor faults, all thanks to the help from my instructor Gareth. Could not have done it without him and would recommend him to others if they want an excellent teacher. He was patient, helped me with my nerves and even though I was anxious he helped me to successfully pass.
Customer service was also helpful and quick to respond when dealing with payment problems. 5/5 from me.
