Passed my test today with Gareth from Cardiff. Lovely instructor and taught me very well - very professional and a brilliant tutor. I had 4 minors on my test. Would recommend Gareth to everyone.

I learned with Gareth, absolute legend of a man! Helped me with everything never left me in the dark, passed today, great instructor! Defo would recommend for New drivers.

My instructor, Gareth, was so incredibly patient with me while I learned exactly what to do. He covered everything I could ever want to know. There was not one time he ever shouted at me or put us in any danger. Step by step we worked together and sure enough, I passed first time

Just wanted to send a huge thanks to my instructor Gareth Lewis who have helped me so much and with a lots of patience as I am deaf and we had to create sign language to help me understood when to park etc. I have passed 1st time and it all thanks to him. I will always be grateful and I highly recommend Gareth Lewis as your instructor weather u are deaf or not

I’ve just passed my practical driving test - first time with no faults! I chose Gareth Lewis as my instructor in Cardiff and he is quite honestly the nicest, kindest, most patient person I have ever met! If I made a mistake, Gareth would explain to me how to correct it in the future, but he would never get cross or frustrated with me! He made me feel at ease, calm (which isn’t easy for me!) and if I was unsure of anything (whether it was a manoeuvre, road sign, driving query) Gareth always made sure I understood everything and then we practiced and practiced it until I got it right! I had a lesson for two hours a week since July, and the lessons were always when time would be best for me. I found the lesson prices were reasonable too - after all, you’re paying for top notch quality instruction here! I’ll be forever grateful and thankful to Gareth for helping and teaching me so much, in such a kind but precise way and I can’t wait to get out and about!

I was extremely lucky to randomly pick Gareth Lewis to be my instructor! I suffer with terrible terrible anxiety and safe to say I was very nervous about learning to drive. My instructor dispelled all of that, he was so kind, very funny, an excellent teacher and he never shouted at me once, which was really important for me because I would of cried haha. Cardiff is such a hard place to learn but he was patient, adapts to your learning style and is so flexible in regards to days and times. Sure BSM can be a tad pricey but it’s so worth it to have somebody who makes you feel comfortable and gives you the confidence to pass first time!!! I never thought that would be me!!! I’m actually taking pass plus because I was devastated when I passed that I wouldn’t see my BSM pal again. Thank you BSM for hiring such great instructors!!

BSM were easy to book lessons with over the phone. It would be helpful to be able to do it online.
Hopefully my review of Gareth Lewis, my instructor, isn't clouded by my passing my test.
Simply: he was very good. He would be tough when required, and was confident in his instructing. I struck a good relationship with him and the lessons passed with a good level of brevity.
As someone was quite hard on myself, he would encourage when required.
I would recommend him to someone who wants honesty, which I would say is essential.

Thanks to Gareth I passed my test. I couldn't do it without him. He was lovely, patient and fun to drive with. I was very nervous about the test and had no confidence in my self, Gareth really gave me the confidence I needed to pass my test with all his motivation speech. Can't say enough good things about him. I will definitely be recommening you. Thank you for all your help really appreciate it and thank you for putting up with me :)

My honest opinion was on the morning of my test I didn't feel like I would pass through nerves but knew I could do it.the most important part of my whole experience was having the right instructor for me as gareth has now made me a better driver all round,I couldn't ask for a better experience and I want to thank you for everything and I will be recommending you in future thanks again its a great feeling

I literally would not learn with anyone else, he was very patient and helpful in situations I wasn’t sure on. Would definitely recommend BSM to anyone who is looking to learn to drive!

Recently passed my teat after having lessons with BSM driving instructor Gareth Lewis, he’s a great guy, very easy to get along with and a very good teacher, teaching you the right way to drive, couldn’t be any happier with passing first time, highly recommend going with him and BSM, they are a good driving school and easy to deal with on the phone and book lessons.

I passed my driving test at first time with Gareth, a driving instructor from Cardiff. No reservations what so ever, he was always very patient, helpful and positive. His instruction was all about being safe, being confident and assertive with your actions and reactions, and above all, doing what we are meant to do as drivers. Thank you Gareth!

I began learning to drive in Newport last summer with Gareth and he is brilliant! I was particularly nervous because I had left it until a few years into uni before starting to learn, but Gareth was always extremely patient and encouraging, and also very realistic with targets and tests. Having a driving instructor that cares and wants you to do well makes all the difference when you're learning to drive because it's a really daunting process at first. Gareth did exactly that and I passed my practical test in April!
When I booked my driving lessons I was so certain I was going to hate driving, but Gareth made lessons fun and I looked forward to every single one!
I am so grateful for all his help and would absolutely recommend Gareth as an instructor to anyone wanting to learn to drive!

I'd just like to say a big thank you to my driving instructor Gareth Lewis. I passed my practical driving test just over a month ago and I believe it was greatly attributed to the patience and professionalism Gareth demonstrated on every one of my lessons.
I had taken an 8 year break from driving due to going to university, moving abroad, etc.
I finally decided to start my lessons again and Gareth was very open and honest about how many lessons I would need and I trusted that he would do his best to help me become a good new qualified driver.
Driving has made a big difference to my life both on a professional and personal level and I have a lot to thank Gareth for. :)

My instructor was Gareth. And the start Gareth was honest and said that the average amount of hours for my age to pass was 30. This was a goal I wanted to get to. Gareth started the first lesson with a cockpit drill of the car and gave myself good knowledge of the car. And we started to use the car. During the next few lessons I developed basic understanding of the car. Gareth remained calm and patient when I made mistakes. He helped me when I had my theory and gave lots of cues to help me succeed. I had mock tests before my actual tests these allowed him to give important feedback which helped me become a better driver. I sat my test with 28 hours and around 2 hours with my mum.
Gareth was a great instructor and would fully recommend for anyone learning to start driving. I have already recommended to friends and family.

I had to cancel my first driving instructor since 2hours was too much for me. Instead, I had a driving instructor called Gareth who gave 1.5hour lessons. He was very organised with time and track recording. He was never late and messaged to confirm lessons. I was in a distant university and could not come for lessons on a regular basis but he was very understanding and flexible. Gareth will push you when needed to further your learning. I would highly recommend him. Thank you! Passed second time with only 5 minors
