Absolute waste of time when I needed them when my motorhome broke down on a campsite in Norfolk. Waited over 5 hours to finally get a RAC mechanic who diagnosed an injector had gone in the engine. He ordered one and said it would be there next day (Saturday) and another RAC mechanic would turn up and fit it. Then on the App it said this would happen next Thursday. Tried calling but each time it took over an hour to get through. Thursday came and the mechanic turned up with the injector and said he couldn't fit it as his computer didn't have a code. He then said it was mice who had chewed some wires! So on the Friday the RAC sent a truck to tow me back home. It was of course far too small to tow a motorhome. Then on Saturday they sent another bigger truck but still too small to tow a motorhome. I finally got home on the back of a flat bed tow truck that was outsourced by the RAC. On my return home I immediately switched to Green Flag. The RAC mayday is an absolute joke!

Everytime i have used Mayday, the staff have been very polite and efficient ,and the operators are prompt and professional . Couldn't ask for more

We're members for nearly 30 yrs,then last year they doubled price and didn't renew our policy,told us 6 months after had lapsed. They did say would have honoured a breakdown, but felt should have told us straight away hadn't renewed policy. So now taken out new cover,can't comment on them as a service as never used yet and dont want to

On the two occasions I have had to use them recovery has arrived in less than half an hour and their contractor has provided excellent service

Had to call out for a flat battery after an overnight stop. Given a time slot. Arrived earlier. Got us back on the road very quickly.

Have been a member for over 19 years, fortunately only had to use the services twice. On both occasions the service and timelines involved were excellent. Renewal process has always been easy and effortless. Pricing has always been fair, value for money and competitive.

Great service first time in 20 years needed recovery and with the caravan was seamless best £82 I have ever spent and this convinced the other half it’s a necessary expense

As we travel a fare distance with our caravan, we thought it was about time we took out breakdown cover, I had seen the advert in my monthly caravan magazine I thought it was the best one to use as they could also take the caravan, it's up for renewal soon so I will be taking out again.
