Utterly terrible experience, so stressful
Being hassled by Berlin Brands now. How do I upload photos to prove my review? I would love to! I have a screenshot of my 2022 complaints to this firm, a proof of order .jpg and refund - after many hours wasted trying to get the thing in the first place.
I hate it when multinationals and their baby corps hire mercenary review killers. That's happened a few times on Trustpilot. Please stop it, Trustpilot or our trust in you will fall further.
Original review: In my experience this is an utterly terrible firm to deal with. When I ordered a gift for my partner, I had thought the firm actually had real staff but I have no proof of sentient life thus far. It may just be bots because all of my complaints got automatic replies saying the firm is unable to write back for 7 days! Finally, after a week I did get a reply but it was so factually off the mark it could not have been written by a human. The reply told me that I am wrong [of course] and the missing parcel is not missing [it is] and no matter that the couriers themselves have not posted a delivery notice [because they still have the parcel] this Berlin Brands Group tells me they "know" it has been delivered, yet they can't give me a time, a driver's delivery note or a signatory [of course, it's still at the depot in Munich, it says so, today, now, on the courier's schedule]. Well, my partner has waited all day, every day for 5 days. She knows it's not been delivered as do I, because even the courier says it has not been delivered - I just checked for the 20th time their update. Yet, it seems, we are all meant to accept that it's us who are wrong, that we must be mistaken, and the firm is right, just as day may as well be night (in their inverted parallel world?) The missing item has been consigned according to Berlin Brands Group but when I track order number 01475110030453 their own courier, shows that the packet remains undelivered, at a depot in Munich (as of 16h30 CET 2022). Moreover, the courier seems to be in a mess of its own, stating it tried to deliver at 6h30 in the morning [?! Show me a courier who's out delivering to shops and homes at 6h30 in the morning and I'll show you Father Christmas lives on Ascension Island] to my partner's shop in central Munich, a shop like most shops, which opens at 8h30 and closes in the evening (as I made clear when I made the order in mid October). Tha fact is an item which was paid for and promised 5 days ago is plainly not delivered. Three addresses were given when the item was ordered, a shop which is open all day, 6 days a week; plus another shop, just across the road; plus the owner's home address; and three phone numbers - one for each. No calls, no attempted delivery notes and no deliveries, frankly, to shops which are open all day long. Bad bad bad! So much stress over one gift which never arrived, and a firm in Berlin Brands Group which tells me I am wrong.
