Our home has just gone on the market and we’re delighted with how are home has been marketed.
AMAZING
I found Sarah from the first viewing was fantastic at securing the offer and keeping us updated regularly with the process. Luke then took over along with Matt who both were equally amazing at keeping us informed on both the sale and the purchase of the properties could not fault them at all.
Once things progressed more we then were handed to Lisa the sales progressor who i must say has handled things professionally and in a timely manner. Without Lisa I would have found the process a lot harder and been so much more stressed but she took off the pressure so much that I was able to continue with the sale. Lisa is a credit and an asset to the company but i also feel charters as a whole were amazing and i would highly recommend you to other people needing an agent thank you to the whole team. xxx

My experience with Charters from start to finish has been nothing but amazing.
We are currently in the process of buying our first house and had no idea about all the intricacies of the process. Lisa Holden has been there holding our hand throughout and giving us all the information in easy to digest terms. No matter how many times I've rang to ask a question, chase something or just to gauge the status, she never made us feel like it was a silly ask or that we were being a pain by having too much contact. This really went a long way in settling our minds and when she says she'll do something she really does and communicates it back immediately.
We're in a position of renting so handing our notice in prior to exchange was getting nerve-racking for us but she sorted things out perfectly for us with a seller who was being quite challenging.
She's a credit to Charters and has really built a lot of trust in a process that notoriously has a bad reputation. Thank you to Lisa and Charters for everything and the best service we've received in a very long time.

Excellent Service - Shoutout to Will!
I registered my interest for a property and within half an hour the agent Will Steward was on the phone to me to schedule a viewing. He was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful both with the initial property I had enquired about but also sharing some other options that fit what I was looking for. After the viewing, he called again to get my thoughts and when I told him I’d like to proceed with an application he made the process as smooth and easy as possible. Will has been a great representative of Charters and I would recommend him and the company to anyone looking to rent.
Truly poor performance and experience with this company
In every dealing that I have had with this company they say one thing and do another. Considering that their core business is property management, they do not address their own property management issues and they hide behind “it isn’t within my remit”, “ I will look into and come back”, except in most cases they do not. Often hiding behind outsourced contractors who are working under their remit and blaming them. Lack of accountability throughout.

Charters in Fareham took over our tenancy from the previous letting agent due to a merger.
The service we have received from
our property manager Sam has been swift and efficient. We haven’t had much need to contact him but when we have emails have been replied to promptly and issues fixed quickly.

Really happy with the service and support from Kirstie in the Farnham office. We had been looking for a property for some time and she was really proactive in helping us find a property that ticked the boxes.
Today I tried to view two properties…
Today I tried to view two properties with charters southampton, i am off for two days and could do anytime. Unfortunately Charters could not fit me in anytime this week or over the weekend. I have booked viewings with other agents and am seeing some flats on the same day.
I would have to say Charters seems very under staffed and unprofessional, if you are looking to sell a property no point in going to Charters as they have no staff to show the properties.

Claire's role in handling the new tenant at flat2, 3 Madeira Place in Kemptown, Brighton
Given that there have been a lot of changes afoot in the agency that is now Charters (I think back the days of Brand Vaughan and what came after) it was good to have Claire in her new role (I remember her well from her role in accounts) especially as there have been also changes in the relationship between landlord and tenant that we are all still getting used to.
After an initial disappointment with a potential tenant not having the required references, I was pleasantly surprised when Claire came up with a new tenant almost immediately.
Without tempting fate, i am hoping that I won't be having a lot of communication in the immediate future, that is, until the next time a future tenant is required!
