Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 702 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Customers frequently encountered inefficient service, long waiting times, and disorganized check-in processes. Many people were frustrated by hidden fees and unexpected charges, including additional costs for out-of-state driving or mandatory insurance, significantly raising the final price. Vehicles often arrived in poor condition, being dirty, smelly, mechanically problematic, or smaller than anticipated. The offsite locations, requiring multiple shuttles and extended waits, also contributed to dissatisfaction. However, some reviewers praised individual staff members for being pleasant, helpful, or professional. Conversely, other customers reported staff being rude, unhelpful, or dismissive, especially concerning issues or undisclosed fees.

Extremely poor customer service and…

Extremely poor customer service and shady practices – Avoid Easirent! (Booking Ref: 115598)

I am deeply disappointed with my experience. They take your money, fail to deliver services, and completely ghost you afterwards. Here are the facts:

* Missing Services (£60 Linen Option): I paid £60 for the linen option, which was supposed to include towels. No towels were provided. I have been completely ignored on WhatsApp for over 3 weeks regarding this partial refund.

* The Gas Tank Trick: We paid for a second gas tank, which remained completely unused and sealed. At the counter during the return, we asked for a refund. The staff told us they would email management to request it, so we left the tank with them. If we had known they would refuse, we would have kept it to give to another camper, since we paid for it and it belonged to us! Instead, they emailed us after we left, refusing the refund because "they did nothing wrong". They tricked us into leaving a paid asset behind, meaning they will now resell a gas tank to another customer that we already paid for. This is theft.

* Unannounced £1,500 Deduction: A month after returning the vehicle, they debited £1,500 from my account with absolutely no prior warning or update regarding the insurance timeline, causing an avoidable overdraft on my account. They refuse to provide an itemized repair invoice, leaving me with a generic receipt that my external insurance cannot process.

They clearly have no ethics. Once they have your credit card details, they do whatever they want. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

The representative online did not…

The representative online did not provide accurate information, and the pricing was misleading. I was overcharged, and when I questioned it, the staff attempted to justify the higher cost rather than address my concerns.

The vehicle was originally scheduled to be returned on 07/17/2026; however, I returned it on 07/14/2026. Despite returning the vehicle three days early, I was informed by a representative that I would not receive a refund for the unused rental days. This was not clearly disclosed during the rental process and added to my dissatisfaction with the experience. I believe I should be refunded for the unused rental days.

In addition, the vehicle was not properly cleaned. Both the interior and exterior were dirty, the tire pressure was low, and the windshield wipers did not function properly. To make matters worse, there appeared to be blood residue on the interior roof of the vehicle, which was extremely concerning and unacceptable.

I have photographs and video recordings documenting the condition of the vehicle and supporting the concerns outlined above.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. The condition of the vehicle, the lack of transparency regarding pricing and refunds, and the poor customer service fell far below reasonable expectations. I would not use this company again and would not recommend it to others.

I am requesting a refund for the unused rental days and would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter. Please feel free to contact me at any time regarding my concerns.

Manger stated they are lower end and issues dont matter

I have rented a car with this company for 2 months consecutively. Each car I end up getting has had an issue from it being dirty, to needing an oil change, to expired tags on 2 of the vehicles, and my most recent car was given to me I discovered with the front 2 tires being dry-rotted and bald. The older gentlemen associate as well as the one with long dark hair both act as if expired tags are no issue. When I had to drive back to Tampa because of the oil change issue I was told it was no big deal and its fine to keep driving. 1 of the vehicles I rented was so filthy with bird crap I asked if it could be washed and told no because the gentlemen who washes the cars was busy. Today when I asked to speak with the manger because I felt like these were too many incidents that happened back to back. A long with the long dark hair associate stated the car was not given to me with dry-rotted and bald tires. As I explained to the manger as well as him this does not happen in a week. The manager told me they are a low end cost company and maybe my expectations isnt a good fit to rent from them anymore. And if I wanted to have a clean car I would have had to ask them to wash it. When I told her I would be putting her exact words on my Google view because no matter if I paid $5 or $150 my safety while driving a car should be a concern as well as I should not have to be treated in this matter. I have never been handed a car covered in bird crap, tree sap, or any if these other issues from any car rental place being lower end cost or not. I pay for a service at the end of the day and should not be treated in this matter when bringing my concerns.

Gave me a half tank, no apologies, no compensation

I rented a light SUV from Easirent. The paperwork says that the cars are rented with a full tank and are to be returned with a full tank. I drove away and was a few minutes down the road when I familiarized myself with the car enough to see it had only a half-tank. I snapped a photo that included the milage on the car. Certainly they would make and adjust, with proof that the car was half full, right? When I returned the car with a full tank, keeping up my end of the bargain, I waited in line and spoke to an agent. He simply replied. "We don't give compensation. We don't give compensation for ANYTHING.", and smiled. The cost of the gasoline was at least as much as another day's rental.

Worst rental

Worst rental. Hidden admin fees to loot the customers. The person won't tell you even on asking if any fees they charge for M50 toll, and then after a month you get toll plus admin fees added to amount. Not recommended. Very far from airport.

No airport shuttle

Employees were nice and helpful. The car did have a bad odor, we stopped and got an air freshener that helped a little. The upsetting thing was there was no airport shuttle running at 730am so a bunch of us had to spend extra money on a Lyft/uber. I know you guys can do better!

There was no mention that we would have…

There was no mention that we would have to take two shuttles to get to the car rental place, and that the last shuttle was 12 minutes away from the car rental hub. When we got there...It was very unorganized and it took us 30 minutes to actually get a car. In addition, there was no mention made of us having to pay an additional almost $100 for toll fees that we had to pay up front, in addition to a $250.00 hold on our account.

It was very frustrating and I would have appreciated knowing this information up front. I will be flying in to DFW in the future and I will make sure that I do not rent from them again.

Very distasteful

Pick up staff was not friendly or at all helpful. He unlocked the back of van so my husband could put our luggage (& others on shuttle) in the back. Drove like he were in GTA and never sd a word. When arriving at location he literally unlocked door and left shuffle without a word. Once we found our way inside staff were very unprofessional and rude. I was informed that although my reservation was booked saying unlimited miles; we only get 150 per day because we live in Texas and will be charged if over! I was then told there is also a $500 security deposit. I stated neither of those things were said on my agreement when I made the reservation and he actually pointed to a sign in the office that said it. I asked where is it listed on what i agreed to ONLINE and he said its in the fine print under policies. I opened it on my phone and it still WASN'T there but he had it on his screen. He sd it should be there since I booked through their website. I sd I actually booked through Skyscanner but he insisted he never heard of it so the only place these different fees/mileage were located was some screen on his computer. He had a side conversation with a man that entered to do a return and decided to discuss how lit he was on his birthday that he couldn't work the next day. Maybe he was still celebrating while working that day.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Expedia says unlimited mileage but when you go to check in and you are a local the mileage is limited to 150 per day plus .50 for each additional. Lucky to catch this or it would have cost me over $300 extra!

Car was fine

Car was fine, location also fine and customer service again fine. What is not fine is the additional charges you are not aware of until you get to the rental office. I literally live close to multiple rental locations and only choose this for the price. Once I was there the additional $25 a day for an out of state fee and $25 a day for unlimited miles because you are only given 150 miles per day with the rental basically tripled the price so that was extremely frustrating. Outside of that everything else was fine

Bait and switch

I booked this rental via Expedia for a quoted total of $80. When I arrived at the off-site Easirent location, the agent tacked on $93.00 for CDW and $50.97 for Tire and Glass coverage. I stated clearly that I did not want or need this coverage.

Because the rental facility is located off-site from the main airport terminal, and the Easirent staff refused to shuttle me back to the airport I signed the rental agreement. Would not recommend ever using Easirent and probably shouldnt use expidia unless they remove predatory companies like Easirent.

Would not recommend

The positive:
I rented a car, it had four wheels, it started and drove.

The rest:
Guy behind the counter had no manner.
As I had a debit card, I had to provide extra forms of ID, proof of address, proof of employment. Apparently because I'm a debit card holder, there were going to be extra charges. I reserved a VW Passat Estate for 128e, but ended up paying almost twice that for a Dacia Duster (not an estate).

There was a young family ahead of me who were having a similar experience. They had been dealing with him for over an hour by the time I had arrived, and said he had been nothing but rude to them.

Being a generous, judicious individual, I thought that maybe we had caught him on an off day, as everyone has those. Then I read some of the reviews on here, and it seems that I had the same experience as so many other people: rude and gruff, and extra charges being tacked on for some reason or another.

For context, I live in Cork, and was by myself. If the experience was that stressful and unpleasant for me, I can only imagine what it must be like for someone who is not a native English speaker, that had just gotten off a long flight with young children in tow, and then had to deal with the most unhelpful individual imaginable.

My guess is that he is the manager/franchisee, as that can be the only reason he's still there. Will see if I can get in touch with head office to report him, as he would be far better suited to sitting in a back room polishing the car keys than dealing with the public.

Beware! No savings here$$$

By far, the worst car rental experience I have ever had. The so-called airport location for Dallas/Fort Worth, was actually in Irving, Texas and required two separate shuttles and about an hours time to get to. Once arrived one had to discover and sign up on a paper list to rent a vehicle, even though I had completed all the information previously online. The vehicle provided had dangerously worn tires that I was assured woud be okay by the agent. About an hour down the road, the airbag restraint and tire pressure lights illuminated. The airbag light never shut off and a tire professional and AAA service associate noted the tires were beyond repair and required replacement. This cost me $300, plus hours of time trying to reach Easirent, only to have them tell me I was responsible for replacement of their worn tires!! Buyer beware!!

Good service but long waiting time for shuttle

The shuttle waiting time was really long compared to the fox shuttle but we think that is because we got it in the airport and the booking appeared in their system after 15 minutes. Then we found Jacqueline who attended us in a professional, nice and understanding mood, she gave us recommendations such as the distance and the insurance in case that something happens and she was really cool. The place and bathrooms were cleaned and their smell was nice, and finally the gentleman who pick us up and drop off us was nice and helpful. The only reason of the 4 starts is the distance between the airport and the rent place and the long waiting time for the shuttle (20 - 30 min) at the airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
