My visit last week was a really great experience, I pre-booked on the phone and did state I wanted a full fitting with intentions to buy a new set of irons and unbiased to brand as am only interested in performance of the club.
I had a 2 hour fitting with Tim who was exceptional and really did his best to get the right clubs and shafts for me.
After narrowing it down to club then shafts and lie angle I eventually ended up ordering the Mizuno jPX 919 forged.
Have been to many fitting centres over the years but this is by far the best plus have all the very latest techno stuff etc it was a delight so thanks again I will send others to you in the future.

I went for a fitting with a view to buying some new irons. The fitting bay was very well equipped with a Trackman launch monitor and Tim the fitter was knowledgeable, helpful and perhaps most importantly gave me plenty of time with no sense of being rushed. The demo clubs come in a 7 iron loft with a good variety of shaft types and flexes. He taped up other irons in the set that I tested to allow me to do valuable comparisons between the longer and shorter ends of the set. The bottom line was that I was given the time and help to choose a set of clubs in the specifications that suited me so no blaming the clubs for poor scores. As a bonus they had the clubs in my specs in stock so there was no delay in getting my set (which can take between 3 and 4 weeks due to COVID 19). I would have no hesitation in recommending express golf if you want to be fitted for a new set of irons.

I booked a full bag fitting with Jordan on Saturday 11th Jan 2020. It's was the most positive fitting experience I have ever had. Jordan is extremely knowledgeable, patient, professional and incredibly honest! After a couple of hours we settled on a set of Mizuno MP-20 MMC with a Modus 105 tour shaft and a set of Mizuno T20 raw wedges with the same shaft. I ordered them and collected them yesterday 5 days for my custom made clubs wow!!!!

When I collected them Jordan got me back in front of the trackman to confirm the fitting was the right one. We then looked at Driver, 3 wood and hybrid. Jordan was honest and recommended that I stick with my current hybrid and readjusted my current driver to give me an additional 10 yards and told me to stick with what I have. He did however introduce me to the Callaway Mavrik 3 wood Max and that will be my next purchase. Jordan really cares about your game and his primary focus is that you leave with the right kit for your game. Jordan is the business owner and it is so refreshing that he is focused on you and not just profit. If you're considering changing your equipment I can not recommend Express Golf any higher, this is the only place you shold be going to if you live in the north of England. Now onto my 3rd set of irons fitted and bought up at Express Golf. Got a blended set of Mizuno irons and was no issue to work through loft, lie, shaft and grip options to get a set that are just right and gapped correctly.

Was able to use the track man bay both during fitting and after they were delivered for any tweaks necessary.

Great fitting from Tim at Express. I could have bought off the shelf but wouldn't have got the right ones for me. Tim ordered my new clubs on Friday and they arrived the following Wednesday from Mizuno - excellent service.
I've played the new irons a few times and love them.

We went to Express Golf for a full bag fitting for my 13 year old daughter playing off 4 handicap. We were both really impressed with both the shop and the range. When it came to the fitting process we couldn't of asked for more. Jordan could not have been more helpful. He immediately identified what her bad movement was in her swing which enabled him to make sure it wasn't the equipment that was causing the bas shot, this meant that she was able to have confidence that the equipment that has been recommended will suit her and her game. We have placed our order and can't wait to get the clubs. I would strongly recommend anyone who needs new equipment to get fitted at Express Golf. A really awesome experience

I went for a fitting today, having not played for about 25 years so with some very out of date clubs (Mizuno Faldo ID). The fitting process was very professional with the use of Trackman and a private fitting booth on the driving range with a huge range of club heads and shafts available to try. I left with a new set of irons, driver and 3 wood I was very confident in. The best driver for me was fortunately one which was heavily discounted. I was offered to try irons also heavily discounted (last years model Big Bertha) but I didn’t get on with them so choose a current but more expensive set of irons. I wasn’t pushed to buy the most expensive, I was given the choice and the ability to try them all.

My daughter was with me and had her first lesson. Immediate improvement and she really enjoyed herself too.

All in all a really good facility run by a very knowledgeable, nice to deal with team.

The fitting process was really interesting and informative with Jordan which helped me immensley in selecting some new clubs.

Came over for a new driver fitting. I had a few ideas what I wanted but came with an open mind. After trying every driver and various shafts I was very pleased with the driver that was chosen for me. Cant wait to use it on the course.

I went to Express Golf because I wanted an independent fitting without pressure to buy new clubs if they were not needed. I travelled 1.5 hours for the fitting and was not disappointed. Jordan compared my current clubs with a whole range of heads and shafts and showed/explained the Trackman data so I could make my own decisions, with some advice also as I was stuck making a decision between two brands. He also threw in a few points on my set up which was great! I saw Jordan for a full bag fitting, and after hitting my driver and 3 wood he advised me to keep these in the bag. Every other highstreet shop I've been to tried to sell me a replacement. I don't think you'll find a better fitting experience and would 100% recommend Express Golf if you're looking to evaluate your current equipment against what's new on the market.

Booked in for my very first iron fitting session after reading some of the positive reviews and speaking to a couple of friends who don’t go anywhere else for their equipment or lessons.
Tim made me feel at ease straight away, was friendly, knowledgable and helpful in terms of club choices to try.
Excellent facilities, range and shop, with all the main brands available to try using Trackman technology. Probably something I should have had completed earlier and will return in the not too distant future to have a look at driver/woods.
Now hope I can shave a few shots off my handicap with my new irons, although certainly did not feel any pressure to make a purchase, after my fitting.

I visited for a driver custom fitting and the service was spot on - very friendly, very informative and a very good result as I’m made up with my new driver (that I was able to take away on the day). They have a great range of clubs (not just drivers) and I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m back there soon to get fitted up for some new irons.

My third visit to Express Golf and l'm never disappointed. Jordan was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient as usual. Bought Taylormade P790 irons and love them. Excellent customer service as usual and a great experience. Would highly recommend anyone looking for club fitting to use Express Golf.

Went for a driver fitting to test the latest offering against my existing. After looking at the numbers, walked away with my old driver lofted up 1 degree and re-gripped saving myself £400.
Honest, numbers based fitting without trying to blind you with science and marketing rubbish.
Lets try again at next years new driver launch shall we Steve?

Once again an excellent fitting. Would not go anywhere else. The Trackman data clearly shows you the best club's for your swing and takes all the guess work out of the process. Great service, great staff, great facility. Highly recommended.

Excellent Golf Centre
After dabbling with golf since childhood I have recently begun playing regularly. Losing the head off one of my 30 year old irons accelerated my purchase of a new set. Having had a disappointing visit to a golf chain for a custom fit I booked in with Steve at Express Golf. There was no comparison between the two! The range of shafts and heads available at Express is exceptional, Steve is very knowledgeable and friendly and never put me under any pressure to purchase anything. After trying a number of shaft/head combinations to find what felt good and looking at some technical data regarding ball flight I made my selection. I've been very happy with the set of irons purchase following the custom fit that I've since been back for a driver fitting.
The 9 hole course is well maintained and suitable for a wide range of abilities.
Staff in the shop are friendly and knowledgeable and always happy to chat. Good selection of footwear, clothing and accessories in the shop. And to cap it all off there's a small cafe which does a fine bacon butty!

I am fairly new to regular golf. Very sceptical about fittings services after last experience with another major golf retailer. Booked in with Steve for fitting session with irons recently bought elsewhere??? Steve immediately pointed out that the irons I had purchased where not right for me. Went through a very thorough process to find the right irons and after an hour or so of the best guidance and patience, we found the right ones. No more scepticism only straight hitting fantastic feeling irons and at a great price. Cant recommend enough - 5 Star service.
Also a great welcoming environment and a fantastic facility. Never felt under pressure or out of my comfort zone.

Amazing service and experience for custom fitting.
After deciding to change my irons and woods, I deliberated over which manufacturer/brand custom fitting center to visit. However the option to work with Expressgolf allowed me to test all of the major brands I had considered buying. Furthermore, I made my choice of new clubs (not the clubs I initially thought would be perfect) based on my experience of using them versus others. This choice was made through testing many variations of clubs and shafts with open air shots and flight analysis. I do not know of any other multi-brand fitting center that offers both. Most just have a screen/simulator indoors or only fit for one brand.
The result is that I now have the perfect set of clubs, with no surprises when I use out on the course.

Not only do I have an amazing new set of clubs, my golf has already seen a marked improvement.

I couldn't be more positive in my recommendation for Expressgolf and custom fitting.

I went for a club fitting with Steve for a full set of clubs. It was my first time getting fit and I was quite nervous about the process but Steve made me feel at ease straight away. The set up was exceptional, state of the art equipment and a huge range of clubs, shafts and grips. He was never pushy, he let the club's do the talking. I knew my clubs were wrong for me but not by how much until I hit the first shot with a club Steve had chosen specifically for me. My smile was instantaneous and wide; what a change! I expected to be sold clubs but it was all about how they felt to me and Steve knows his stuff, I can't wait to pick up my clubs and start playing! I am going to book lessons here too, everything about Express Golf is high class but the prices aren't. I will recommend this to anyone in Yorkshire wanting golf fitting, driving range, clothing and course. Very very pleased customer.
