I bought a bracelet from the Bristol store in early August as a gift. Unfortunately it broke after just 2 weeks of wear.
I returned it to store where I was told they would send it off to head office for repair.
A week later I was advised that the head office would not repair under guarantee, according to their 'professional' assessment the damage was caused by 'accidental force' - this was not the case and I was pretty much called a liar and told the cost to repair the bracelet would more than 25% of the cost of buying a new one (I refused this repair)
On top of that, when I returned the bracelet to the store it was in it's original packaging (Bracelet box) - they tried to return it to me in a brown envelope!
I will never purchase anything from this company again!

I bought a bracelet from The merry hill store, after only 3 wears the bracelet wouldn’t stay closed, and kept falling off. I returned it to the store expecting a replacement but instead they said took it out to the back of the store and said they had fixed it. It did seem better so I left the shop wearing it. That same day it must have fallen off, i didn’t realise until I got home, so I went back to merry hill and retraced my steps, I found it on the car park, it had been stepped on, and was damaged so I returned to the shop and complained they couldn’t possibly have repaired properly, it was obviously unrepairable, and now it was damaged. They refused to do anything about it, because they said I’d accepted the repair, this bracelet had only be worn on 3 occasions, my receipt is dated 15/july 25, I returned it to the shop 12th August, not even a month old, I thought it would be replaced. I contacted their customer service who spoke to the shop thry said in their opinion they thought it had been forced. This was NEVER said to me when I returned to the shop, I am really hurt and upset because it’s definitely not true, they didn’t have the decency/nerve to say this to me (if they did think this, or is this what they d
Said once I’d gone to customer service and they hadn’t replaced it. They have more or less called me a liar, and accused me of something I haven’t done. I have always bought Hinds jewellery in the past as it is quite reasonably priced. It’s only when you have a fault that you find out what their after service is like.

A really brilliant experience. I found the perfect cocktail-type watch online and was able to reserve it for collection at no charge. The male assistant at the Wrexham shop was very helpful, used my first name throughout and adjusted the bracelet for me with no fuss. I could not be more chuffed!

Bought my watch from Chapelle York, very helpful assistant called Olivia. Needed links removing from the bracelet which was done quickly and efficiently. Looked at a couple of watches but was allowed time to make a selection

Went in, I looked at some costume jewellery for holiday, I purchased some earrings and a bracelet, I was happy with my purchase, and the young man was most helpful.

Took a silver bracelet into Hinds to have a link taken off. Bracelet only cost me £19 and was shocked when they charged me £20 for a 5 min job( should say bracelet was not from that shop)I suppose I should have asked how much they charged but never expected £20 for 5 min. It’s £240 an hour!!!!

The sales person was very helpful with purchasing a charm and attaching it along with three others to the bracelet.

The bracelet was bought at Xmas for my granddaughter with some charms and she absolutely loves it.

I had a lovely experience buying a watch being dealt with by a genuine gentleman. He explained everything in detail and altered the bracelet strap perfectly. I left feeling very satisfied.

I went to the Woking branch of Hinds to ask for a new clasp to be fitted on a silver necklace.
The staff were courteous, efficient and helpful.
The damaged clasp was replaced and the chain itself was 'cleaned', making it look as if it was brand new!

The lady who served me was very helpful and friendly. I went to purchase a watch, but my eye was also caught by a ring in the display cabinet inside. I then asked if she could bring in some men’s silver bands. She brought a tray in with a great selection, and I purchased a fantastic ring. I was very pleased with my three items, but will need to bring back my husband’ ring as it was a little on the big side, but he loves it. All in all, a lovely shopping experience. I have been served in the past by this lady, and I love her!

I was welcomed by Alan Roscoe. He is super friendly. He recommended the Silver Locket Heart Necklace. The money goes to Dementia Charity. I was really happy to buy it as my Dad died of Dementia. It will be a treasured keep sake. I will put his photo inside the locket. Alan placed the locket in a lively box. He took all my details. He was so professional. I'm really pleased he encouraged me to make the purchase.

The watch arrived in a standard storm box with no Certificate, plastic wrapping or tags and it was actually turned on!
It also looks scratched and very much like it has been worn/altered!
This is absolutely disgusting and a waste of my time.
Beware of this seller, as obviously they are happy to send out any poor quality items. I'm definitely sticking to Storm London orders from now on.
I've emailed Hind today with photos.

Sorry that you are not happy with your purchase. We are a jewellers and as all jewellers do sell stock from our displays, the watch you have received is considered new and as you would receive had you purchased in any of our stores. This is a clearance line that is heavily reduced in price and was checked prior to dispatch to be in a new and unworn condition.
We make no mention or picture a unique box for this item, it is merely a special design celebrating the Darth range and supplied as is in a standard STORM box. I can find no mention online of any additional packaging or certification that you mention in you email, so cannot substantiate where you would have gained this impression from; nothing in our descriptions or images alludes to such.
You are welcome to return the watch for a refund by all means, but this would be at your own cost as we have supplied it as shown and described.

Absolute Joke of a company. My husband purchased a bracelet for Mother's Day from my little boy. A few weeks ago I didn't realise but it had broken and was on my bedroom floor. I emailed and was told to take it back to store. As I have never bought from them before I didn't know chapelle were I bought it from was part of F Hinds so I drove to the shop I bought it from which was 40 mins away to be told it would need to be send away and couldn't be sent back to another shop or back to myself so I would have to come back again and collect it. The member of staff indicated I'd pulled it which I was not happy with. I was not told it would take 4-6 weeks to return. The managements emails are not polite nor helpful. I would never buy from them again.

Im mrs Brenda L Reed I went in for some advice on a braclet that was left to me i wanted to know how and what was the best way to clean it as it is Silver and with Amber stones .
The lady her name was Tracy gave me the good advice .
Also a clasp was missing so she put a new clasp on it for me and I took her advice and i bought the silver cleaning cloth from her .

F Hinds is always worth a visit for us as we love their silver jewellery. We went to the Hertford store and were so happy with the service there… lots of help choosing, loads of choice
