absolute nightmare and rubbish product
Can I give a -10 review please - if only.
Do not buy this rubbish. Had Fitbit before, fell for the Inspire 3 recently - absolute nightmare and rubbish product.
Didn't realise they had been acquired by google which may be the reason for all these negative reviews and service gone to dogs.
Money lost, time wasted - never again!
Time to find something that works!
Ordered a Nest thermostat
Ordered a Nest thermostat, The delivery date was delayed by 2 weeks, but I was never notified by email. Disappointing experience and most likely will never order from Google Store agin.
Poorly designed website, incompetent technician and poor customer service
I ordered a fairly high-end AEG drier. The website did not clearly give notice that there are two levels of installation. Apparently, the lower level, installation, simply meant taking the appliance up one flight of stairs, putting in the laundry room and plugging it in. This was not a free service. One had to click through another level to discover that only a premium installation at a higher price revealed a complete installation.
Even so, MediaMarkt did not carry the required component for the full installation of placing the drier on top of our washing machine.
Fortunately, I had managed to purchase the part from Cool Blue and the men who delivered the drier kindly installed it. However, they did not install the attachment to drain the water from the dryer to the drain used by the washing machine even though, unbeknownst to me, those connection parts were included with the drier. When I discovered this, I asked MediaMarkt to return to complete the installation properly. It was then that the company informed me that I would have had to order the service at the time of purchase.
Everyone makes mistakes, it's how one accepts accountability and rectifies the mistake. MediaMarkt fails this test.
Update: subsequent to the above review, I was contacted by Media Markt and was told that if I would take my invoice to a Media Markt store, an appointment would be made to upgrade my request from a basic installation to a premium one. I did this the following day and very gratified that the store rectified the error by apologising for the inconvenience and by not charging for the upgrade.
The men who came the next day surprised me by showing that connecting the dryer to the drain did not require anything more than attaching the tube to the top of the rear of the dryer and running it to the drain pipe shared with the washing machine.
Again, I was very pleased with Media Markt for taking care to complete the installation... that is until late at night soon after I started the dryer with a load of wet laundry, I heard a cataract of water falling on the floor. A short tube at the back of the dryer was spouting a stream of water. Of course, I immediately turned off the dryer and unplugged both the dryer and washing machine. After down loading manuals from the Internet, I still couldn't figure out how the machine draining system worked.
The next morning, I relayed the entire story to a Media Markt customer service agent who very sympathetically told me he would arrange to have a competent person to come to fix the connection. This was done the following day and this time successfully. Quite simply, all that needed doing was to disconnect a short draining tube from the source of water precipitation to the internal water storage tank and connect it to a long extension tube to be placed in drain pipe.
As if that weren't bad enough, the last technician told me that the standard installation includes stacking the dryer and connecting it to the drain pipe. The premium installation service only applies when more serious work has to be done, for example work required with electrical outlets or adding to the plumbing. He had never heard otherwise. He agreed that simply taking a dryer up a flight of stairs to a bathroom and plugging it in would count for a standard installation.
So, unfortunately, I leave my review at one star. Dishonesty and incompetence do not count for customer service.
CAUTION, Fitbit Service Poor
CAUTION to anyone considering a Fitbit product. Be aware the compny was acquired by Google in 2021 (according to wikipedia). There is now NO access to a live customer service person. the online help system may work for very basic issues, but it was NOT helpful when my Charge 5 quit charging/working (2 yrs old). Some of the online responses were even "snarky" . The main answer finally is to contact the community forum - I guess just hope someone else solved it.
I would NEVER buy another Fitbit product based on this lack of service and access, and the failure of my watch in just 2 yrs.

I wanted to give a negative rating. The worst place to buy any product. The service is ridiculous. The customer support is the worst that I have experienced in india.
I ordered an Pixel 9a phone and received a defective piece. The customer support took nearly 8 days to take back the defective device. It has been around more that 2 weeks now and still they are checking with the internal team about the received defective product.
Let me see how long they will take.
I am going to file a customer case legally.
GOOGLE IS A FRAUD COMPANY AND STEALING USER MONEY AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS RIDICULOUS.
Never buy anything from them.
Disaster product
Disaster product, no customer support, frequent issues and now discontinued their existing app control. Instead they offer a discount on their next generation product, Thermostat X. Thamks Google.
Was a great product and now doesn't…
Was a great product and now doesn't work. Shame on you you Google! Stopped supporting this after a fairly short period of time.
Why did you transfer to google? Killed the product
All history prior to the forced move to google has been deleted and google are refusing to reinstate it. Have bought fitness trackers from Fitbit since 2016 and have lost all my history. Last time I buy a fitnesss device from Fitbit/Google. Wasn't even possible to complain about this. Google were not interested.
Unapologetic poor quality product and appalling customer service
My Fitbit stopped working (yet again) after the latest update. This time stuck on the Fitbit logo on my watch with not even the ability to force restart or reset factory settings. The watch is no longer connected to Bluetooth and cannot connect properly to the app. I followed everything on the customer support page half a dozen times including switching my phone on and off, cutting the power to the house and the street but nothing. The last option (as advised if all else fails) was to contact customer support. That was really the final straw. You have now outsourced customer service to people who actually appear to have no knowledge about the product they are supporting. The person dealing with me kept putting me on hold, to look for a solution which was essentially the next step on the on line troubleshooting page, at one point I even asked if they were just putting me on hold to google the next step. Having explained about 5 times that my watch was unresponsive and stuck on the Fitbit logo screen with no ability to shut it down I was then asked to swipe into the settings screen on my watch! After 30 minutes of this fiasco (time I am not getting back) I was told that my watch is out of warranty but would I like a discount voucher for a new Fitbit. No I do not. What I want is a device that lasts for more than 2-3 years given the price of them. I'd like one where the strap didn't fall apart or the charger break after 1 year. In the 12 years I've been using a Fitbit device (6 in total, that's an average of one every 2 years because they keep breaking) these same problems continue to occur. There are a lot of complaints about the same issues over the years (namely product quality and appalling issues post update) and none have been addressed. To cap it all, you can't even make a complaint only contact customer services to speak to another idiot. I will not be buying another Fitbit. I will save my money and spend it on another Smartwatch with a better reputation and quality assurance. Given the number of complaints over the years, it feels as though Fitbit watches are deliberately designed to fail to keep making people buy more. Not this time.
Appalling company and customer service
Would be zero if possible
Spent hours with customer support as I can’t get in to the app on my new phone
They couldn’t/wouldn’t help so sent me a link to google and cut the chat off
The link took me back to where I started
I think this is all a lolly to get you to buy a google watch
Garmin here I come
Appalling customer service over the last 3 years

Spent £100s of pounds having a Nest thermostat installed only for it to be withdrawn and become totally useless ! Should of saved myself the money and kept the original thermostat.
We moved into a house with a nest…
We moved into a house with a nest thermostat and I was enthusiastic about getting it to work. It registers the correct temp but does not switch off the boiler when it gets there. That’s a pretty basic requirement of a thermostat. After taking the internet for a solution I tried playing around with the true radiant settings but nothing works. No plumber knows how to fix it. Unnecessarily complex junk.
NEST
NEST - your lack of customer support is appalling! I'll only be utilizing your competitor going forward - Ecobee!
I've tried calling, texting, emailing for support and have received NOTHING from you. My older version NEST cannot connect to the internet - so it's a basic thermostat at this point. I've tried everything I could find online for the fix....nothing. And contacting you all for support - nothing! I'm changing my thermostats in all of my homes to Ecobee.
Not what it was
Charge 6: The accuracy and reporting seems to be messed up. I had Fitbit for 5 years but lately I just don’t trust anything it comes out with. The same day said I had over exercised. And another I had been under
Shame but seriously considering moving away now.

NEST THERMOSTAT DONT BOTHER
You buy something off the likes NEST thermostat and the sell you the item then they withdraw the benefit they sold you , so becomes useless, they offer a discount on TADO that’s not compatible with a lot of routers so doesn’t work DISGRACEFUL practices,
Need more countries for delivery
Original stuff can be found but need more countries where can be delivered products!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE
If you have a problem with anything you buy from this store you will tear your hair out!! I had a problem with a low cost £29.99 45w charger for a Pixel 9 phone. It was crackling in the socket after 4 months of use and potentially dangerous. Any other company would just ask me to dispose of it in an environmentally appropriate manner and send me a new one. Not this company. They involved me in many many emails over 2 weeks and I am convinced that their daily emails to me were not human beings and were AI. They then made me send it to Poland!! Then they said they couldn't replace it due to inventory constraints (ha ha, what does that mean) Eventually offered a refund but said if it doesn't appear back on you card we can no longer help!! Appalling Customer Service and Support. Just buy from Amazon or somewhere else who look after their customers properly.
Fitbit has failed me for the last time
My Fitbit Charge 6 stopped charging a little over a year after I purchased it.
I've been using Fitbits since 2015. No longer. I'm not buying another. It's not the money that's a concern - it's the company.
No more.
