They dont pay owners of cars
I rented my car 3 times and the last time, it was returned with a broken tyre and an empty tank. This was 5 months ago and I still haven't received any money, neither for the rental nor for the empty tank. I just got problems to deal with fixing the tyre and transporting the car and now wasting my time texting GetAround with only AI answers coming.

Not what we expected
We made an appointment to be picked up in Marrakesh at a fix time, but they arrived nearly 1 hour too late and we missed the sunset in the desert on our camel ride. Since we departure later than expected, they should have skiped the drop-in at the smal place for arg.oil, was wast of time.
The camel ride was also just a "joke" riding for 10 min. Food they served in the evening was good and the show was nice.

Worst Customer service ever. None existent.
This is really some of the worst customer service experience I have seen. Firstly it took a while to actually get past the FAQ's and to where I could type a message.
Took them several days to reply and the reply did not answer my query. It only gave instructions about their procedures, which I had already done.
I replied to the email and explaining again. No answer.
I sent a second email and still no answer. They are clearly not interested in getting and keeping customers. Only to take your money.
I had booked a car and owner had accepted it. Good thing I hadn't paid yet. Naturally I have now deleted my account and the owner lost out on a weeks rental.
In short, my issue had to do with the verification process in Norway which required what is called a bankid. As I have not lived there for over 26 years, I do not have this as it requires a Norwegian bank account and one has show up in person to get one.
My big issue here is that there is no backup alternative and no interest in trying to find a solution. Absolutely appalling.
My strong advice: STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They are unreliable.

The van was as indicated. It had more damage to the bodywork than I had expected, but nothing that was a problem. The adblue tank needed to be refilled in 340km. That was a bit disconcerting. But since we only intended to drive 240km wasn't actually a problem. Still I found it a worry and also surprising the owner would allow it to get so empty.
