I had to replace my MacBook Pro, but I ran into problems activating my current subscription on the new computer. I had forgotten my password, and after sending several reset requests, I had not received the email link. Natalie quickly reset the password for me and instructed me on the procedure for activating the plan on the new computer. I found that I was still under the 6-month plan even though I had recently purchased the 12-month plan for 3 computers. She quickly swapped the plans, had me log in again, and the problem was fixed. I was able to get right back to work on a critical project. Natalie was the greatest and is a credit to MacKeeper. Great job, Natalie!

The upsell is completely SHAMELESS. While the tech support you get online to activate your account is polite and knowledgeable, the point of this interaction is to get you to shell out additional $800+ so that you can actually talk to a technician to help you with your Mac. As it is, what you are buying is a license for software ONLY, which MIGHT help you with your Mac, but it MIGHT NOT.

Made 2 calls and had service activated by George and he was professional an thorough. @nd call to Ian identified the chat process where I started and finished in less than 10 minutes and the issues were resolved Pleasantly surprised on day 1 and I hope this is going to continue

My husband and I have used MacKeeper for many years. In fact, we used the service when it was called "Zoom", before the online Zoom app. We have always received polite, efficient, and helpful assistance for any situation we need help with. I have recommended that company to many people and have extolled their Excellent and Outstanding customer service! In fact, Hutch, Mason, and Rexxie just helped me download a new program to help me keep my all my Publisher documents. If you had a 10 Star rating, I would give them a 10+++++

Disaster experience. Very sketchy software and organization. Tried to remotely access my computer. Deleted files. Impossible to remove
Their techs tried many times to get remote access to my computer, even just in order to turn on the software I purchased. They asked for it and had pop-ups asking for it.
Then it deleted files that were similar, not the same, on my backup system and the cloud. It accessed my backups and deleted files.
Then, when I tried to uninstall it, the program kept reinstalling itself.

Had issues with both tech applications and billing support. Kept being bounced from tech to billing and back. After several days and many frustrating hours, I got a tech who knew what she was doing and the issues were ultimately resolved (at least as of this afternoon). But the time taken and frustration incurred during the problems id and cure were extraordinary compared to other tech support centers that I have used during the past 40 years (mol). If mk had screen sharing capability, the time taken to diagnose and cure would have been drastically reduced. The current chat system sucks (sorry, couldn't think of a more appropriate word). I don't refer to the staff who were overall pleasant and ultimately helpful, but the process certainly was not. I like mk and will stay for now.

I used clean my Mac for about 10 years. It use to be a great program, but now it's turned into a sales gimmick. It scans your hard drive and then to do anything past that you have to purchase this and that and it's ridicules. Please refund my purchase price as I'm sadly disappointed in what Mac keeper has become.
