Morrisons started life as a bustling egg, milk and butter market stall in Yorkshire back in 1899 – firmly planting its roots as a fresh-focused grocer with an appetite for providing quality and value on the same plate. Now, with 491 stores as well as a fast-growing online shopping service at Morrisons.com the business continues to focus on delivering freshness and quality to millions of customers across the UK - wherever they want to shop for their groceries. Foodmakers and shopkeepers at heart, we have over 9,000 trained butchers, bakers, fishmongers, cheesemongers and other skilled in-store specialists making more food in store than any other retailer. Morrisons is also the only British supermarket to have its own sites making meat, fruit & veg, fish, bakery and fresh food products – and is unique in preparing and making more than half of the fresh food sold in our stores.

Really easy to order delivery online. Aimal delivered in the booked time slot, zero complaints at all!
What a totally appalling waste of my time and petrol calling morrisons customer service was.
I contacted them to purchase a 6ft folding table for £25.
They told me that most of the stores had sold out. They went on to say that Heckmondwike store had 13 tables.
So we travelled 10 miles to find out that they didn't have any at all .
What a total shambles not happy
Morrisons Giffnock selling pain relieving gel at a reduced price. Then I noticed the expiry date was 07/2025. A year out of date. I’ll be taking them back. Is this not illegal. ?
I was stopped like a common criminal leaving the store with a receipt in my hand for three products I bought and paid for.
The security man demanded I come back into the store to be searched in front of all the people standing outside being treated like a common thief as l say with a receipt in my hand totally ridiculous and disgusting.
2 years on and still no proper reply to any of my emails many of their stupid staff and they are pretty stupid I just haven't got a clue what they're doing. They write to you and they never follow anything up the head office don't want to know I've never known a more cowboy outfit in my life Morrisons supermarket Corby I've pictures of rubbish laying on the floor round the store chicken I went to buy was five days out of date bread out of days flowers dead never been watered cardboard and rubbish all around the floor in the store and what does their area manager do his names Gary I've been told absolutely never contacts you back what a company area manager doesn't even contact customers back when the store manager was offered my card to supply my details to area manager Gary when I asked a manager again as I didn't hear from him he says nothing I can do him basically it's run like a circus Corby Morrisons absolutely dreadful. When leaving today another couple elderly couple was stopped on the way out of the supermarket with the receipt and paperwork and still being stopped for no reason whatsoever there were very shocked at least they weren't loads of people around them to see what is going on I did speak to the couple when leaving. I've contacted Morrisons over two years now over 13 to 14 times emails I have actually phone and left messages with no reply what a shambles. Why have a head office to complain to when they don't even contact customers to get back to the customer they must think customers are an irritation more than somebody who pays for all their wages this is not run like Morrisons used to be many years ago it was run properly with proper staff and proper management you go into the store now in Corby there's no management in there as I say rubbish on the floor nobody every time I go in there never pick until someone has an accident fridges and freezes don't work have never worked when he gets hot. I would think the way it's going they may close down Corby or sell it off to some other supermarket company hopefully soon and would have a supermarket that actually runs properly. This lot just haven't got a clue no respect for customers whatsoever no customer relations whatsoever.
Charles Barrie.

Morrisons pharmacies such a disgrace for the profession.
After contacting 111 for an emergency situation and after 11 hours of waiting and having doctor visiting us and prescribing the medication. Morrison refused to issue and provide the medication, they wanted the prescription to be counter signed and the number of the tablet is not clear on the prescription where it is clearly stated how many units are required. While I was there have contacted 111 and brought the issue to their attention and at the same time they had a chance to talk to the Morrison pharmacies.
This is so frustrating when you try to get some medication in an emergency case. And they intentionally put you on stress and worries.
Very very frustrating. However we went to another chemist and they issued the medication. Which was the big relief. I don't understand why Morrisons pharmacies they put their customers and the patient in such a situation. I have heard from others they had similar issues with Morrison chemists, but that was my first hand experience with them.
Very very unprofessional and stressful experience.

Recent order from Morrisons Inverness via Deliveroo.
Morrisons are usually pretty good with replacements on unavailale items. When I ordered Morrisons organic whole milk yesterday they replaced it with ruddy oat milk; who in their right mind DOES that! It's not milk, it's a watery grain liquid with rapeseed oil, the most unstable oil on the planet which has claims of being carcinogenic, a bunch of unnatural additives, and salt! My special needs daughter can't eat grains, can induce seizures, was NOT fun trying to explain to her she couldn't have her evening milkshake. It went straight down the sink, bleuch. A tad grumpy because I was not able to have coffee this morning; no milk...
Also replaced 2 items on the order without saying they had done so or putting it in the receipt; surely that's not good for balancing stock figures...

1. Whilst eating morrisons own brand rice cakes, a nail stuck into the top part of my wife's mouth
2. Took photos etc and their CSA came with with 20000 bouns points equivalent to £20
3. Then they came back with £30 as a final offer, no explanation, no update on any investigation
4. While I am here, never any big trolleys at their Erith store, their fruit goes bad quickly and their 'rewards' scheme is crap

Booked a home delivery,6 bags of groceries.Only 3 were delivered, other 3 damaged in transit.Fair enough, accidents happen.Thr driver told me Morrisons would re-deliver the missing items. They didn't, heard nothing from them at all.If I re-ordered I would have had to pay a 2nd delivery charge! And,just to top it all, they charged me for the 3 carrier bags that didn't arrived. That is really poor customer service.

Morrisons delivery’s
I have had Morrisons delivery’s since the Covid crisis of 2020. Recently the whole system has gone down the toilet, four times in the last six weeks, I have had a bland E-mail proclaiming that my delivery will be at least four hours late, broken-down vans, burst tyres, broken refrigeration units, are there excuses, twice the delivery has been the next day.
They seem to think people have no other existence then to sit around waiting for them to bring the groceries, there is never an apology for the delays, you get a E-mail to tell you they are on there way, but never a time slot when they estimate they will arrive. The whole service is useless.
So my advice to anyone who reads this DO NOT use Morrisons delivery service.

Visited Morrisons in Bideford, never been before’, never done Click and collect but great experience as contacted by Evan when one of my items wasn’t available and a suitable substitute was sorted out, no problem. I turned up at the main door and asked the first assistant where to go for click and collect. Wasn’t I lucky as it was Evan and instead of sending me to the other end of the car park, on a hot day, told me to wait there and would fetch the order for me.
I am a 77 year old lady and was so grateful. Evan was an absolute star and an example of excellent customer service. Many thanks

This review is about Morrisons' complaints process, which I have now experienced from start to finish. In February I was stopped at the exit of one of their stores and accused of not paying for an item my receipt showed I had scanned first. The staff member who had me stopped knew me by sight; I had shopped there almost daily for over thirteen years. The store was quiet, he had been near me throughout, and I was speaking another language on the phone. I believe he targeted me deliberately and that it was discrimination. That is what my complaint was about, and this review is about what Morrisons did with it.
I complained in writing the next day and made a legal request for the CCTV footage. The statutory deadline for that request passed without compliance and it has never been complied with. The footage was overwritten while in their control, after my request was made. One member of store management told me she had personally watched footage of me, then told me in the same call that the stop happened in a blind spot with no camera coverage. The security guard's body camera was said not to have been recording. Every piece of evidence that could have shown what happened was lost while in their hands.
Head office took weeks to respond, then refused to tell me the outcome of their own investigation, claiming GDPR prevents it. It does not. Their final response introduced, for the first time after months of correspondence, a claim that security had been alerted to suspicious activity. I asked in writing what the activity was and who reported it. No answer has ever come.
They even replied to my review on this platform asking me for more information so they could look into it. I provided my complaint reference the same week. That was months ago. They have never contacted me since. The request was for show.
A complaint of discrimination was met at every stage with the same pattern: appear to engage, promise to look into it, then go silent and wait for you to give up. If you ever need to complain to this company about something serious, expect warm words, a gift voucher offer, and no answers. Keep everything in writing and keep copies.
I put 6x bottles of a red wine that was on a shelf marked as "I'm included in the Buy 6 for 25% off' deal but when I went to checkout the discount wasn't removed. I asked a cashier only to be told that wine was excluded as it was under £6 to which I asked why it was on the shelf marked as included? She told me there were signs everywhere stating that wines under £6 were excluded. That might be the case but that wine shouldn't have been on that shelf. I have photographing proof. It was at the Winsford store in Cheshire

I am a fan of Morrisons and use the Horsforth store. I visited the Kirkstall store today in the retail park and was accosted by two meet and greet employees outside the store who were just a nuisance. Loud and intrusive just making people uncomfortable. Better employed in-store helping at the self check-out.
