We were contacted by Victoria who contracted my company to provide a house clearance service - This was our first interaction with this company and they were professional to deal with from start to finish - communication was excellent and any questions were answered and dealt with immediately - it was a pleasure to work with this company and Victoria is a rare employee who went the extra mile providing a seamless process - it is an emotional time when dealing with the sale of a home in this current market and if you are thinking of using a home buying company then this is the one for you! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As a contractor I dealt with Victoria and was asked to complete gas work on a property under sale though this company.
I can say they were easy to deal with and super efficient on communication and payments.
I would have No hesitation to do deal with the company on the future.

Holly was very knowledgeable and helped go through all the questions in order to receive an initial offer.

I have been in communication with Jess and over that period she has been extremely helpful. She took the time to understand my position and reasonings for selling and outlined each part of the process clearly. A simple and easy service as expected.

I asked this company (with a view to using them) where is your evidence of the ‘excellent’ google reviews as claimed on your website.
I’m still waiting over a week later ….
12/9/26 - still waiting. Any update guys?
17/9/26 update
Just had a request for more info - please note @ homebuyers that I asked where your actual google reviews are so I could see them, instead of just the claim on your website.
I have had no email from you, so I’m guessing there was a glitch there. Please send email again and I will certainly respond.
Thank you
Just found the site with reviews - don’t know why it didn’t come up last time but my apologies for that.
However, I didn’t get an email and the reviews don’t concur with what you claim.
I will alter my score to suit.

We’d had an incredibly hard time on the market after our previous sale fell through after survey. When we came to National Homebuyers we dealt with Elizabeth right from the initial research and she really fought in our corner. She kept us informed, was easy to talk to and explained each part of the process and what she can do to speed it for us. Would recommend her and the team to anyone

Reply from National Homebuyers
Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with throughout. When we hit a snag with the process she helped us throughout. We got well below market value but we knew beforehand, what we were signing up for to guarantee the sale allowing us to move forward with our onward purchase.

They claim to hope to meet your expectation and then make a derisory offer. I think they are preying on people who are desperate to sell

I only put one star as I can’t put less.
Please please please don’t use this company read the other poor reviews they are all true.
All the good reviews are fake, you can tell by the way they have been written.
Dishonest and disgusting company.
They make you an offer that’s not great but you can just about accept, then ask lots of pointless questions to delay just to drag the process out.
The week before we exchange they offered us £50K less than they had offered.
They have no intention of buying a house at what they offer you.
This should be illegal and they should all be thrown into jail.

Joke of a company - approached me after seeing my property had just been added to the market for £290,000 - cash offer has come in at £225,000 - this was less than the house was purchased for 5 years ago and has had ~£40k spent on improvements since. Understand that the value wouldn't be market value but to offer £65k less than it's worth is beyond insulting.

I went along with the nonsense after receiving a letter saying they were interested in making a cash offer for a house we'd put on the market 2-3 weeks ago for £425000. This was agreed as competitive with our Estate Agent. Although the first person said we wouldn't get an offer for £425000, there was a strong steer that we would be there or there abouts.
Looked at some of the more genuine reviews to appreciate that anything around £400000 may be a push but thought it would be interesting to see what was offered anyway.
Good job I was sat down when another lady called today to offer £340000 which was still subject to further checks. As my wife and I had worked in Banking for 25 years+, was interested to find out how they could rationalise this. The scripted style response was stamp duty and overheads. Quite incredible.
If I'd have proceeded to valuation and all the other bizarre tactics this company is likely to employ, I'm confident we might have struggled to get £300000 despite the house being in A1 condition, although the grass is slightly discoloured due to heat so that's maybe £20000 gone.
If you're selling a 1 bedroom property to these clowns, you'll probably end up with enough for a good night out so please avoid at all costs.

Received a letter from them saying my home is currently on the market for £325000. They would like to purchase it for cash and achieve the price I require at a timescale that suits me. Doesn’t make sense. They will also contribute £1000 towards my legal fees. The house hasn’t been on the market for at least 50 years and is certainly worth much more than that. These people are grifters and hopefully will get their just rewards. Loathesome practice. Hoping to contact morons who don’t understand.

I enquired not knowing very much about this type of service but Jess kindly outlined all of the details for me so I understood the process. Very beneficial discussion!

National Homebuyers, first class service, definitely 5 out of 5.
Well done 👏

Very simple and straightforward service. My discussion with Jess was very useful and she guided me in the right direction in order to sell my property. Thank you!

Jess was very friendly and explained the service to me in detail. Thank you!

When i signed up with then at discount price, i was told they would complete within 6- 8 weeks, this now prolong into 12 weeks.
At the end to complete, i was offered a much lesser amount than the original values siting sales are slow, hence we will pay you 181k instead of 215k.
All their solicitors firms should be investigated, they were using delay tactics to frustate sellers by sending questions that are unnecessary.
Ayoola.
