Bought a LG 42" OLED TV from Richer Sounds and it would have gotten them a 5-star review were it not for the fact that they were more than a little sketchy on the cost of having someone to come around setting up the TV for us. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the TV; it is a massive step up in picture quality of the "old" (about 12 years) Panasonic it replaced. No my problem lies with the fact they couldn't even give me a ballpark figure for the cost of having someone to come and set it up; but I was told it wouldn't be a lengthy procedure. So I was a little shocked to learn the "setter upper" wanted £ 180 for what amounted to basically one hours "work." (Complicated it might be, but it's not exactly brain surgery and should he make an error you just return an fix it; unlike with brain surgery). Neither did the fitter have the good grace to throw in a cable; made up for us on the spot, into the cost; he wanted another £ 10 for that little thing. At a lower hourly rate than £ 180, that probably wouldn't have worried me at all. But at that price; -it equates ca. to a full 8-hour work day as a nurse with 30 years service in the Health Service, it seemed more than a little of a rip off. Richer Sounds would do their customers and themselves, a huge favour, by roughly knowing, how much the persons, they recommend, charges for their "service." As for the staff in the shop. They are polite and very pleasant to deal with; -but they really... Do Need to know, how much an installation fee is charge by people they recommend. -Maybe they do, but a just too embarrassed to say!

I have just purchased a television from Richer Sounds. Richard Hayler, Senior London FSM visited my home to advise me on my best options. I chose a Panasonic television which is perfect in my new kitchen diner. Richard is very professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to meet him.
This is my second television purchase from Richer Sounds. Their service is always very professional for which I am really grateful.
I would also like to commend Dean who installed the television. Again very knowledgeable. A clean and thorough worker who made the process pleasurable.

Richer Sounds in Plymouth are the best! I had a full installation of media from them. They supplied my TVs, sound bars and speakers. They were extremely helpful and professional. Everything was done within two weeks. I would absolutely recommend them.

The customer service is second to none. Fred listened to what we wanted and why, and suggested products that have turned out to be just right fit us (as opposed to the most expensive thing in the shop). This includes ease of use as well as the features and quality themselves.

Steve and Mark in your Exeter store were very helpful and they got me a great price for my large order. The installers who Steve recommended, Jacob’s Aerials, were efficient and helpful - it was a relief to find a proper recommended and experienced installer! Having recommended installers available was a big factor in placing my order. This was the second time I have used Richer Sounds in Exeter. I will only ever use Richer Sounds for future purchases, the service is the best.

Very patient in working with me to ensure I got the right equipment for my rooms. I spent over an hour on two FaceTime sessions spanning a couple of weeks working out the best locations and specifications before committing to buy. RS also lined me up with an excellent third party installer who did a great job. Very happy with the selection, installation and performance of my equipment.

Always buy my audio visual equipment from Richer Sounds because the product knowledge, customer service and guarantees are second to none. The recent installation was first class. Very happy.

What an unbelievable service! The guys at Richer weer on the ball from the off. They explained all of the options in layman's terms and were always open on pricing differences. Even with quite a complex proposition, with the space we were working with, they pulled together a suitable plan and executed it impeccably.
