Richer Sounds - Southgate Reviews 

I bought the MEE AF-T1 as an open box item from Reading and the same unit open box from Southgate on the same day. For both orders I requested an optical cable paying £12.95 each, but when they arrived the units each had an optical cable provided with the unit, so there was no need to have the cables I purchased. I am disappointed that I wasn’t told the cables came with the open box units and due to distance and cost I will not be able to return them, so £25.90 spent needlessly.
I have to say that generally Richer Sounds have always provided great service over the years, and I put this oversight down to experience.

Was a bit unsure when it came to fitting but the guys at Southgate was more than helpful and we got to the bottom of the issue in the end

Great service, from customer sales, after sales and product advice. I have bought from RS for years and I know from personal experience Curry's PC world cant come anywhere close when looking for such products

The Salesman Ali, was courteous, polite and extremely helpful.
He ensured that the product was delivered securely and so that the contents weren't revealed, so that the Christmas present remains a surprise.

No one wants to pay more than a fair price, but in this era of fake sales, it's difficult to know what that price is. I trust Richer Sounds to give me the best deal.

Dan was super efficient. I bought a TV within 20 minutes and it was delivered and installed that afternoon

Hudson who served us first was really helpful as we had a specific reason for size of TV. We settled on one and ordered it. An hour or so later our daughter told us we had ordered the same size she had and needed it to be a couple of inches bigger. We went straight back in, Hudson was with another customer so we spoke to, I think his name is Mac, and he immediately cancelled this order and ordered the same TV the next size up. He did say it was only easy as it was a Saturday and the order had not gone through. They were both very friendly and professional and the TV turned up very quickly on the following Monday 17th November.

Many say the mark of a company is when something goes wrong. The first item that was sent was faulty and although I then had to make a trip to the store, Mak was super helpful and was fully focused on making things right for me. The replacement works as expected and I'm now able to fully enjoy my vinyl collection again.

Went to Southgate branch to initially discuss a potential hifi set up purchase. Received very useful advice from the Manager about the range of Project turntables I was considering for the system.
Agreed on a system and was very helpfully offered to be provided with the speaker cables pre-fitted with plugs.
All in all a very satisfying shopping experience.

Excellent product knowledge. Great advice and superb service. We ordered an expensive set of ear phones for our son's birthday and they were in the shop the next day. We would recommend everyone to go to the Southgate Branch. Thank you.

No complaints about the staff at Richer Sounds who are always pleasant and helpful. The only irritation was that the click-and-collect order, which should have been available at the store the day after I ordered it on line, was delayed by a day because the DPD driver attempted to deliver it to the store before it had opened.

Hudson was very helpful and knowledgeable in helping me to chose the right tv for me.
