Richer Sounds - Southgate Reviews 

I want to thank Richer Sounds Southgate branch for their superb service from quoting on the Chord Odyssey X speaker cables to my required length, the swift order & delivery, the terminals prep and fitment of banana plugs. Many thanks to Mak the deputy manager, Ali the manager and his team for their exceptionally helpful, friendly and efficient service from start to finish. They are all of course very knowledgeable about the products and give you honest advice.
I've been a longtime fan of Richer Sounds since Julian Richer had the London Bridge shop and the service then when I first bought my set of HiFi separates some 40 years ago was first class, just as it has always been over the years, and again recently from my experience at the Southgate branch.
My go to branch for any HiFi or TV requirements.
It's always worth checking with your local Richer Sounds store when looking for any Hifi, TVs or associated accessories. I found the team have always been brilliant, helpful, friendly, enthusiastic and they will always do their best for you as their valued customer.

Delivery messaging a little confusing as getting updates from DPD saying I'll have my parcel 'today' etc but I was picking up from store. Didn't need delivery updates as I was collecting from store.

Great customer care and support is why this is my go to store for audio Equipment. Price competitive.

I’ve just returned from Richer Sounds in Southgate where an east European lady treated me to some excellent “ couldn’t care less if I get a sale or not” attitude. She stood with her arms folded, her head tilted sideways in a more than bored fashion and gave me one word answers to my questions. Suffice to say I left the store and I’ll never go in a Richer Sounds again.

Always put the customer experience front and centre. No hard sell. Prices are great and love the experience of shopping in richer sounds - they've been great for me since student days back in the late 90's.

Daniel the sales manager who served me a set up the demo room, went through the different options and spent time explaining everything, fully understanding my brief. He managed the other customers expectations into waiting times while he continued to help me. Put together the package and leant shop demo unit while awaiting delivery of my brand new equipment, which arrived in two days. It was truly rare experience these days to get such totally satisfying service end to end. A on top was very, very pleased with the equipment purchased.

Visited the Southgate London store in pursuit of specific Samsung TV model. Store manager, Ali, was very helpful and demoed the model TV I was looking for for. Good customer service experience.

Hudson was very patient with me as I am not techy and he went to alot of effort to demonstrate the sound and ease of the turntable I bought. All the staff in the Southgate branch were very helpful and pleasant. Only downside was the parking.

We had some helpful advice about a 43 inch TV, especially the sound. We spoke to two assistants at different times and they were both very knowledgeable.

Delivery was delayed due to bad weather and rescheduled without consulting me. I had a family wedding and needed to leave home by 11.30. Mailed on day before to request that delivery be before 11.30 in the quoted time of 11-2pm but they weren't able to give assurances. In the end it came arount 11,45 and I was a little late for the wedding. I was given a credit note for £25 to compensate me for the missed delivery which was nice of them. I do, however, understand Richers difficulties. Close but no cigar!
