Utterly unprofessional to make her go all the way there and then to cancel. I’ve checked reviews and this seems the norm. Make what you think of this but greed is greed. These ppl just WANT YOUR MONEY.

Good service but be careful who you see
Good range of appointments and was seen quickly by the doctor on appointment date. Be careful who you book as the 'specialist dermatologist' I thought I was seeing was only registered as a GP, and therefore my consultation was not covered by my medical insurance.

I’ve been going to SK:N for my laser hair removal treatments and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment you walk in, the team makes you feel comfortable and well looked after. The level of professionalism and care they show is outstanding.
A special shoutout to Stephanie, the manager, who always goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and that clients feel valued. And Teona, the senior operator, is absolutely amazing; she’s skilled, patient, and makes every session as easy and comfortable as possible.
I really appreciate the warm, friendly atmosphere and the consistent high-quality service I’ve received. Thank you to the whole SK:N team for your great work, I can’t recommend them enough!

Lovely staff, great treatments
I’ve been coming to this clinic for several years and have always had a great experience. The staff are lovely, knowledgeable and thoughtful and give great advice. All treatments so far have been enjoyable and effective. 100% recommend.

Friendly staff made daunting experience much less stressful
I was made to feel at ease by the friendly, approachable and professional staff throughout the whole consultation and treatment appointment. Dr Simon Harris explained all the options without trying to sell me anything and was very honest about treatments and whether they would help. Have only had the first treatment of a recommended course of six, so can't comment on effectiveness of treatment yet, but certainly recommend the clinic for the friendliness and professionalism of everyone there.

The best laser hair removal
I am so happy with the laser hair removal I’ve been receiving from the clinic.
I was a little apprehensive about it at first as had received laser hair removal from a different clinic 10 years ago, and it just didn’t work at all.
My treatment at SKIN has been a completely different story. I’m only 3 sessions in and the reduction in hair growth on my bikini area is incredible, I’m actually in shock!
I’ve always suffered with dark hair down there, often feeling self conscious about shaving rashes, ingrown hair, having to wait for wax regrowth etc, I’ve tried every form of hair removal so this has honestly been life changing for me.
I can’t recommend the clinic enough, the girls are all lovely and Steph who treats me has so much patience when I’m a bit nervous about the treatment.
I can’t wait to see what the next sessions deliver!

I have just finished a course of laser hair removal for 3 separate areas and I could not be more pleased with the results. All the staff members I have interacted since the beginning of my treatment have been lovely, informative and professional. Amazing experience today at the Cardiff branch. Dr Simon Harris should not be trusted
Dr Simon Harris should not be trusted. I would warn against trusting SK:N and find another dermatological clinic to use. Dr Simon Harris removed two cysts from my face which ended up being around 5 inches long and you can clearly see that the paperwork was not filled in correctly and no consideration whether the surgery was the best option were seriously considered. I trusted him and I massively regret it.
SK:N clinic had to shut down and start up again (may be due to all the inappropriate surgeries and treatments) and still think it’s appropriate to send emails to old clients that had treatments with the old SK:N.
I was in stage 3 of the complaints when the company restarted and the email responses I had when in contact with the new SK:N company regarding my complaint were disrespectful and dismissive and took no accountability even though it’s the exact same company.

Unfortunately, the company that performed your treatment procedures went into Liquidation on 17th July 2024. Since the 17th July 2024, I wish to clarify that Lorena Cosmetics Holdings SPV Limited have purchased the business assets only from The Sk:n Group. This purchase included all consumables and medical records. For the avoidance of doubt, Lorena Cosmetics Holdings SPV Limited were not the recipient of the fee paid by you for services rendered by the Sk:n Group. Whilst we are currently trading as sk:n clinics, I must confirm that Lorena Cosmetics Holdings SPV Limited did not purchase the sk:n clinic business or liabilities, to include ongoing care to patients, or take on responsibility for any disputes or complaints regarding treatment delivered prior to 17th July 2024.
That being said, we acknowledge your dissatisfaction, and as such whilst we have no obligation to do so, we would be happy for you to attend a a consultation with an appropriately qualified practitioner so that we can better understand your concerns about your treatment outcome, and/or make a recommendation for any next clinical steps.

Very happy with my experience
All the members of staff I spoke to were so welcoming and lovely. I was a little bit late to my appointment as I had trouble finding the location (it’s unclear on google maps) but the staff were so patient & understanding & helped me on the phone to find the facility. Once inside, the clinic was very clean, spacious & professional looking.
My appointment was with Camelia for a scarring consultation which I was nervous for but she made me feel very at ease. She was very knowledgable & polite & made my experience very comfortable :) I’d recommend her.

Wonderful, Friendly Staff!
Went to the ladies at Skn Cardiff a few weeks ago for a hydrofacial and cannot recommend it enough! The clinic (shared with Optical Express) was clean, warm and incredibly professional. Teona, who did my treatment was so sweet and took great care to let me know exactly what the treatment involved and made everything very relaxed. Wonderful service in a wonderful environment. I’ll definitely be returning in the future!

This company has going into liquidation, but have reopened in Cardiff. Will not honour my treatments that were paid for but have reopened on the same company name, same staff and all the patient records from Charles street.

For treatment purchased with a credit or debit card, there may be potential option to recover your money through your banking provider and we recommend contacting them directly at the earliest opportunity. Let us know if you require any support in your interactions with your finance provider.
Alternatively, further information for creditors can be found on the Gov.UK website (https://www.gov.uk/government/news/five-skn-group-companies-in-liquidation-information-for-patients-employees-and-creditors). You will be required to register as a creditor and complete a Proof of Debt form which should then be emailed to skn-hmg@insolvency.gov.uk. I can confirm that the court have appointed Official Receiver, Joseph Sullivan, as liquidator of the Sk:n Group.
