Really disappointing experience, would not recommend.

Advertised as a free consultation for spider vein treatment, but I was charged after being booked with a medical director.

Service felt rushed and unprofessional. Staff were abrupt, and they even used what appeared to be sanitiser spray meant for equipment on my face when they couldn’t find proper wipes.

Pricing was inconsistent with no clear explanation. Overall, poor communication and I will not be going back for a follow up appointment

I had a fantastic experience at SK:N Clinics Glasgow and wanted to share how impressed I’ve been with the service.

From the moment I arrived, the team were welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. A special thank you to Yvonni, who carried out my laser hair removal treatments—she was absolutely brilliant throughout. She took the time to explain each step clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable during every session.

Yvonni’s attention to detail and friendly approach really stood out, and I felt confident I was in safe, knowledgeable hands. The results have been amazing so far, and the whole process has been much smoother and more effective than I expected.

I would highly recommend SK:N Clinics Glasgow to anyone considering laser hair removal, especially if you have the chance to be treated by Yvonni!

High cost for a mediocre service. I was told I should get a blood test done but wasn't offered the opportunity.

Yvonne is so helpful and explains everything so well. A beautiful clinic, so warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

I had a treatment last weekend at the Glasgow clinic with Vonie (hope I'm spelling the name right) Vonie was very professional skillful and friendly which made the experience relaxed and pain free

I wanted to review a member of staff who was so helpful. I enquired about an expensive course of treatment. The girl (Lisa I'm sure) was so knowledgeable and really able to answer all my questions. I feel so much better about the cost having had the process explained fully. I'm absolutely going to be booking in the new year.

I had been a customer of this company for many years. During a treatment carried out earlier this year I was left scarred. They simply wrote me off saying there was nothing they could do to resolve this. The issue I had attended with now looks a whole lot worse. The doctor who caused the scarring said he would offer me a refund. I didn’t refuse or accept the offer at the time as I was so upset and couldn’t wait to leave the clinic. I requested my patient notes and aswell as receiving photos of another patient I noticed that it stated that on two separate occasions that I had been offered a refund. Lies!! Completely made up in my notes. I was offered a refund only once. I contacted the clinic to accept this offer to be told that although the doctor had offered a refund, the complaints department had decided not to proceed with it. Apparently I had been notified by email of this decision earlier this year. No email had been received by me. In fact I had been told earlier this month that the refund was still being considered.

An absolute sham of a company with a high staff turnaround which says it all really. I would urge people to avoid this company as they don’t care about their customers at all and think it’s acceptable behaviour to leave you scarred with no recourse!! Disgusting behaviour!!

Poor service from this company.
They cancelled my appointment due to staffing issues, with the only offer being another clinic.
I asked for a refund, I’m still waiting for it over 50 days later.
They are scammers and clearly don’t care about their customers, they only care about profit.
Many more laser hair removal companies in Glasgow who are professional, cheaper and provide a much better service.

Horrendous experience! I would leave no stars if I could.
Researched a laser hair removal company for the longest time.
Finally attended the Glasgow branch - had a patch test and paid for a block of 4 hair removal sessions - paid a lot of money for this!
I attended for 1 session - after this my next session was cancelled due to them having “no staff available to carry out the treatment”. They couldn’t give me a timescale as to when they would have staff available - turns out everyone had left - no wonder, and offered me to attend another branch… in a different city… in Edinburgh - I am disabled so this was out of the question!
Asked for my money back to enable me to attend for the service elsewhere - was told this shouldn’t be a problem and would be escalated to a manager - a month later still no communication whatsoever! Phoned a few times and got nowhere - apparently it was with the Clinical Service Manager as staff didn’t have the authority to authorise a refund!
Contacted them again via the chat function on their website and was given an email address to raise a complaint - did this - they have continued to ignore me for over a month despite saying as per their complaints policy, I should’ve received a response within 20 working days!
Disgusting customer service.
They are thieves - I paid for 4 sessions and received 1 and they have kept the remainder of my money and are not responding to me.
Save yourself the time and stress and go elsewhere.

I booked an appointment with this company on the 8th of September for today. At 12pm on the day of my appointment, I received a call telling me it had been cancelled, without any explanation given.

Initially, I was told they could fit me in tomorrow. This was frustrating enough as I had already arranged time off work, but I was then told they actually couldn’t see me until more than a week later. For a company of this size, I would expect that if they cancel with less than five hours notice, rebooking my appointment would be treated as a priority. That was not the case.

When I called to rebook the appointment, the person I spoke with knew I was a new client and that this was my first impression of the company. Yet, they made no effort to resolve the situation. Instead, I was told that I’d have to wait over a week. At that point, I asked them to cancel entirely. They agreed to do so immediately, but did not even mention refunding the money I had already paid. I had to request that myself, and was then told it could take up to 28 working days.

The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer care was shocking. Cancelling on a new client at the last minute, offering no real solution, and failing to proactively refund money is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend booking with this company.

Sophie’s professional and kind manner, ensures as a client you feel at ease. Attention to detail and how she communicates deserve praise. I’ve enjoyed many sessions of laser therapy with her. Kindness in abundance and an asset to any team and some might say a diamond. Well done Sophie!

I had a lovely hydra facial with Sophie. She is so friendly and talked me through every step of the treatment! It was a great experience.

I had an appointment today with Sophie Thompson. I have a disability, Sophie kindly came to greet me @ reception. She had a warm friendly manner, you quickly feel @ ease in her company. I arrived early, we chatted while completing my health questionnaire. She fetched me a coffee & biscuits. Sophie is passionate & extremely knowledgable about skincare, we chatted about in-house products. She spoke highly of your company, the clinic is state of the art, very impressive. I’ve used the skin clinic multiple times in the past. Today I was having a test patch as it was over a year since my previous appointment. The treatment was administered professionally @ high level. I received an excellent service, Sophie is a great asset to your company, I will continue to use your clinic while I require treatments. Sophie kindly walked me safely to my car which was parked20yards from your premises. These endearing small touches make your company shine above others. I can highly recommend Skin as a group.

Sophie was extremely helpful, thorough and pleasant. I'll definitely consider returning for further treatment via a dermatologist.

I started receiving laser hair removal from Sk:n Glasgow around 2017. I have found the treatment extremely effective! Though treatment can be a little painful, the appointment doesn't last long and the results are well worth it. The staff do everything they can to minimise the discomfort and make you feel at ease and respected. My recent appointment with Kirstin was no exception, she was friendly and made me feel comfortable while making sure I understood everything and didn't have any anxieties. I will definitely continue to attend this clinic.

Have had only good experiences, Chloe is great, so informative and transparent with the tattoo removal process, very comfortable and professional environment
