When my new Cube electric road bike arrived, I was disappointed to discover that one of the disc brakes had been damaged in transit. I contacted the company to report the issue, and Lewis was assigned to handle my case.
From the outset, Lewis dealt with the matter in a professional, courteous, and highly efficient manner. He kept me informed throughout the process, responded promptly to my enquiries, and made what could have been a frustrating experience remarkably straightforward. His clear communication and genuine commitment to resolving the issue gave me complete confidence that everything was being dealt with properly.
It is refreshing to encounter such a high standard of customer service. Lewis's dedication, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile ensured that the problem was resolved quickly and to my complete satisfaction. He is a real credit to your company and an excellent example of how customer service should be delivered.

Great electric bike selection and service. The service from Mark and Jack was fantastic in helping me choose the model and price range best for me to suit the usage I need. The service plan and customer and bike care is fantastic with their own onsite workshop. Furthermore it is a very handy local accessible location. Totally recommend!

Excellent service, detailed guidance on choosing my Tern HSD PSi and setting it up. I tired a couple of bike shops in Bristol when purchasing my electric bike. But the The Electric Bike Shop was hands down the best. Richard took time to explain all options and helped me choose the right one without feeling rushed. He really appreciated the daunting nature of such a big purchase. And choosing the right model and set up for my family. Really happy with my bike and the experience of purchasing via these guys. They also put together a package that was cheaper than other shops and took my cycle scheme vouchers. Win win. Really impressed!
I bought a cube electric bike from the electric bike shop over a year ago and a couple of weeks back the chain quick link broke and even tho this wasn’t a warranty item they supplied me with one they had in stock foc - great service
I visited the West Bridgford shop 3 times and Matt and the team were all really helpful and reassuringly answered all my new-to-electric questions. Good to be able to have a test ride before my final purchase of a great bike at a competitive price. And they took the time to alter seat and handlebars several times to fit me properly.

Amazing company with a great team. Their website was really easy to use, and I was able to compare different e-bikes to find the one that suited me best.
They also provide a clear step-by-step guide for using the Cycle to Work scheme, which made the whole process much easier. Once I placed my order, they kept me updated throughout, and it only took a week for my e-bike to arrive.
The handover was really helpful too, and I still learned a few new things about my bike. They even managed to fit in my collection on a very busy day.
Also gave me great advise regarding servicing plans and insurance, so it was easy to choose in the end.

Delivery took longer than expected. I ordered the bike on 8 June. On 15 June I emailed the company to ascertain delivery. No reply. I ended up ringing the company on 16 June. After that I was kept fully informed and I eventually took delivery on 19 June. Had I not had to contact the company myself, I would have given 5 stars.

I had booked an appointment for a bike test ride and travelled to the shop specifically for that purpose. On arrival, I was informed that I could not proceed because I did not have what was repeatedly described as “proper ID”.
I have a European national ID card, driving licence, passport and NHS staff ID. These are all documents that are accepted by UK authorities for identity verification and are sufficient for me to live and work in the UK. Nevertheless, I was told that none of them met the shop’s requirements for a test ride.
What made the experience particularly disappointing was not simply the refusal itself, but the way it was communicated. The repeated emphasis that I did not have “proper documentation” left me feeling unwelcome and unnecessarily scrutinised. Rather than being treated as a genuine customer interested in purchasing a bike, I was made to feel that my identity and legitimacy were somehow in question.
If the shop has specific documentation requirements, these should be made clear at the time of booking so customers do not waste their time travelling to an appointment. A simple explanation would have been sufficient. Instead, the interaction left a lasting negative impression.
Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere and would not return.

My wife and I are very new to e-bikes. We have been keen walkers all our lives. Now in my late 70s, I am walking more slowly than previously. We recently hired e-bikes for a day at a nearby leisure location, and were delighted by the experience. So, we did some research and visited the electric bike shop. Jack and Chris were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered 2 folding e-bikes that we can fit in our car. Our new bikes arrived within a week (as advised by the shop). Thank you so much for your assistance and advice.
