Absolutely unacceptable experience with Tide. My payment has been on hold since 6 May and my account has remained under review even after I provided every single document they requested.
I have been chasing support daily for updates, yet nobody gives proper information, no timeframe, and no real communication. My business is now suffering because my funds are locked and I have had to tell customers not to send payments until Tide resolves this issue.
Keeping a customer’s money on hold for this long without clear updates is extremely unprofessional and stressful. The lack of transparency and customer support has completely destroyed my trust in Tide.
I would strongly advise businesses to think carefully before relying on Tide for important business banking.

Not a great start to using Tide.
As a new limited company (Contractor), working a month in arrears, and 30 day payment terms from the company I supply services to, there has been almost 3 months without personal income.
Invoice paid into my Tide account, and a transfer made to my personal account for Salary, but this transfer was put on hold pending security checks. It's now Friday afternoon, my personal payments have all failed, despite all of the information requested being supplied.
These security checks have been going on for so long and you can't get through to customer services, it feels like I've lost the £5.5k transfer.
I wouldn't recommend using them if you will need any kind of assurance your transfers will take place, or if you will need to get in touch with Tide.

Majid was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He was friendly and helped me set up my card payment system.
Val was extremely helpful over the phone and spent time explaining different functions of the app. Made us feel comfortable with using the app.
I definetly do not recommend. using Tide is waste of your time. They do not let you do business without stress. block payment from the same customer. My payment was blocked last week but it was sorted by continue chases but again today blocked. I do not understand what is use of using Tide account.
