Ordered carpet, told it would take 2 weeks to arrive, 1 month later, still nothing and I was constantly told different things by different staff.
I asked for a refund, only to be charged AGAIN, instead of refunding.. absolute nightmare.
Constantly having to chase them.
I wouldn't use them again

Also bought a lovely bed frame, headboard and mattress. Mattress is super comfy. Tetra one! Needed new bed and mattress. Lovely coloured bed frame and headboard in mustard yellow.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Really go out their way to help. Thank you.
Recommended to family member, who needs carpet and new mattress.
Delivery guys were amazing too. Friendly, courteous, well mannered. And helpful.

Fantastic carpet experience
I recently purchased a carpet for my children’s room. It was a big decision getting the right colour for their room.
However, Anastasia, who works for United carpets, went above and beyond to not only help me make my decision of choosing a carpet much easier, but also made sure the whole process was smooth/fast and I had the carpet the next day.
The carpet fitters were also fantastic and did a brill job.
I would highly recommend United carpets. All the staff are friendly, approachable and will help you find the right carpet for you.

Staff need training
Me and my partner spoke to a guy in Feb about a new bed he was helpful and knowledgable on beds but we weren’t ready to buy yet, returned to store the other day to see him and spoke to some other guy as apparently the guy no longer works there, this other guy wasn’t very helpful, had absolutely no clue about beds, no one in that store seems to know much about beds. Recommend training staff on beds.

At the beginning of February 2025 we went to United carpets branch in Shrewsbury and chose some carpet for our hall stairs and landing dining room and lounge, an appointment was booked for someone to come out and measure for these carpets on the 3rd of March 2025 but never attended and not even a phone call to advise us about this which was very disappointing given that we had taken the day off work to accommodate disappointment, we were never contacted for another appointment to be made so I called the branch only to be told while you’re on the list and the estimator will get round to calling you which needless to say he never did, customers can spend their money wherever they wish this company is not worth dealing with. I will now take my business elsewhere as they are clearly not bother and obviously haven’t heard of customer service, my advice is avoid.

Great service and price …
Have used United carpets in Shrewsbury twice in last month . Once for carpets/ vinyl for father in laws house and carpet/ vinyl for mine .Customer service excellent from Steve the manager and also Callum .
I would also like to praise Damian who was the fitter at FIL’s and also Steve and Gary who fitted my items yesterday. All very polite , friendly carpet / vinyl fitters . Excellent service from them all .
I would definitely recommend this company for their excellent customer service and efficiency , as well as brilliant pricing for items we needed . Thank you very much .
