Steve Jeffs was polite, friendly & on time.
A very polite young man called Ryan came to measure for Wren.
He was friendly and professional.
Sales aspect great(Gemma was and still is helping) we used Wren installers (does cost probably double or more for the piece of mind). Compared to our last kitchen install in 2020 with a different supplier - it did seem a little more stressful, there seems to be a slight disjoint between Wren and installers, the co-ordinator emails you receive whilst installing just seem to be a one way thing (they never replied to me). The installers on our last kitchen did everything start to finish at Wren you have to use an app and order replacements, not the installer - I was advised by Wren to wait until end of install then order, this is were it breaks down for me so far. The parts arrive quite quickly but then you're left in limbo - nothing on the app for next step to get the replacements fitted and no reply from installers, I waited over 1 hr on the customer service line before giving up - again no reply from so called co-ordinator, the only person that answered me was Gemma the designer - who is raising with head office. I also used the help hub - still waiting for a reply. It's a real shame for the aftersales to be so poor against a very good sales experience, it does worry me slightly what if I have any issues with the kitchen over my warranty periods. I think not signing any paperwork until fully completed is the only way - I didn't want to delay the fitters getting payed, but once I signed it all seemed to change - except Gemma. The score may go to a 4 star if this is resolved quickly or to a 2 if not. We do love the kitchen and Wren do make a good kitchen, but the model seems to break slightly for after sales when you've paid Wren a lot of money for the piece of mind. If buying and using your own trusted installers it maybe a different experience.
Leon was friendly and warm. He answered all my questions and was quick and efficient. Excellent service.
0 stars for Wren kitchen, after measurement of the kitchen being wrong and that meant the units won't fit, extractor is misaligned, electric socket where the gas hob will be and no gas supply to where the design says the range will be, on top of cabinets not fiting the space. Showroom team so rude and unhelpful, after sale, as if they have nothing to do with it. Everyone washing their hands off and no one owns the problem, apparently there is a "process" a customer has to be put through. This is after ordering a dream kitchen costing nearly 18k So stay away from these people if you want peace of mind. I have no old kitchen or no new kitchen for the past 10 days and god knows how long more, and the people are unhelpful. Could have easily got a kitchen for 25% of what this kitchen is costing me (from Wicks for £3500)but we thought we will fulfill the dream but it's a nightmare now with Wren. So, my advise is STAY WELL AWAY from Wren kitchen and you can take my advise or leave it. If it goes right it's just luck but of it goes wrong there is 0 effort from wren kitchen team, including the one your ordered with, to help. They become strangers to you. I don't see a company surviving much longer with such poor customer service.
Happy with the service so far. S Jeffs was very professional when he attended my kitchen survey appointment. He was polite, courteous and explained everything clearly. I was very pleased with the service he provided.
On time our representative was polite and easy to talk to. All round good experience. S.weyman.
Our home survey with B Bradley went very well. He explained the design process to us and was very friendly with our dog!
T Wells was really helpful and efficient. 10/10
We were impressed with the delivery from Ben & John, and the two other crew members who joined them. They were polite, respectful and took care to stack the materials appropriately. They kept well within the two hour time slot we were given so thank you for making the experience less stressful than it could be with one’s kitchen contents scattered around the house.
Warning! do not use!I choose a kitchen in Wren showroom. A wrong kitchen was delivered. Base units have a different style than I ordered, as well in one unit a drawer was missing. Then worktop quartz team refused an installation due an error in design! I am very lucky I got a worktop refund. I called main line - 40min waiting time, you can only talk to AI assistant. When you have a real problem they will ignore you, I sent many emails - no responses at all. My dream kitchen became nightmare, one of the worst exp in my life.I am 67. The only light in this exp was kitchen fitting team! They were great! But Wren? Avoid! Magdalena from St Helens.
Bernie came to measure. Explained the process and got on with it. Friendly guy
Great service.
Ben & John delivered a great service, very friendly & helpful.
The designer, Michael Buick, has been exceptional. He genuinely cared about the design and functionality of our kitchen and went above and beyond our expectations. From the VR experience through to the regular check-ins, we really cannot fault him. If our entire experience with Wren had been as good as the design process, this would absolutely be a 5-star review.
Unfortunately, the installation and trades side of the process has been a very different story.
Our first kitchen fitter seemed nice and quoted an extra £150 for the electrical work, but subsequently wasn't able to carry out the job. Our second fitter also seemed nice, but then left Wren. We understand there was a dispute involved, although we don't know the full circumstances.
The third and final fitter was also pleasant and did install the kitchen. We had organised an electrician at £880, but they had to withdraw due to family circumstances a week before the install date. Wren then arranged an independent electrician at short notice. We were quoted £950 for the electrical work, which we paid directly to the electrician in full. A plasterer was also arranged by the electrician at an additional cost of £430. The plastering itself looks good.
Unfortunately, the electrical work is a completely different story.
We were away in England for family reasons while the work was being carried out, so we weren't able to oversee it ourselves. When we returned home on 22 August, we found that the electrical work was nowhere near finished. Lighting cables had been left hanging from the walls, cables were hanging from empty sockets, there were no power sockets or isolators in place, and none of the kitchen appliances had been wired in.
We have effectively been without usable kitchen electrics since returning home. We currently have one old working socket, meaning we have been having to rely on the microwave to prepare food. The electrician has promised on several occasions to return and complete the work, but has failed to turn up.
To make matters worse, the floors were covered in dust and dirt, with dust throughout much of the house wherever doors had not been closed.
We raised a complaint with the Wren store on Saturday 22 August, and Customer Service received our complaint on Monday. We provided photographs and evidence and also wrote to Customer Service, but at the time of writing we have received no response and nothing has been done to resolve the situation.
This has been particularly difficult for our family. My wife has MS and multiple other health conditions, while both of our children have SEN needs, including autism. Having a safe, functional kitchen isn't a luxury for us — it is something our family genuinely needs. Being left without functioning kitchen electrics has caused considerable stress and anxiety at an already difficult time.
It is incredibly frustrating because the kitchen design itself is excellent, largely thanks to Michael, but the installation experience has overshadowed everything positive about the process.
We chose Wren expecting a professional end-to-end service. Instead, we have paid in full, been left with an incomplete kitchen, had an independent electrician repeatedly fail to return, and are still waiting for Wren to respond to our complaint.
I sincerely hope Wren now steps in, takes ownership of the situation and helps get this resolved. Until then, unfortunately, I can only give Wren 2 stars.
Had Mark Rennolds round today to measure up our kitchen before a design visit to store tomorrow. Mark was able to put us at ease and answered all of our questions. Mark was a really nice guy and very easy to talk too, thank you
Ryan came did the measurements for my new kitchen. He was polite friendly and answered all my questions, concern's and ideas i have for my new kitchen.
Next step I will be going into store to do the design based around the measurements which were done. Thanks again Ryan for your professionalism
Shane Weyman who came to measure up was brilliant. He was warm and friendly and extremely funny. He took about 30mins per room to measure up and was very informative. It was a pleasure meeting Shane, it felt like we’d known him for years. Thank you
