This 111 NHS is the worst and most…
This 111 NHS is the worst and most lying ever we called there and they told us they would call us and we had to call there twice and they still didnt call staff are so racist and so unprofessional they rather want you dead than help you my little one was so reddish and couldnt breathe as he had fever of 40.1 and they couldnt care I only wish those doctors the worst because they be killing the patients they are the true murders screw you
I was suffering with severe withdrawal…
I was suffering with severe withdrawal from alcohol I phone them up at 10:00 p.m. I did not get a call back until 5:30 a.m. the next day it is a disgrace but thanks for I managed to pull through it
Needed some emergency tablets as I had…
Needed some emergency tablets as I had ran out, this service was great within a few hours I got my tablets and was relaxing with relief in bed.
Sending a family to a hospital over 30…
Sending a family to a hospital over 30 miles away is outrageous and dangerous. Toddler had a fever, what if they had a seizure on the way? Why would 111 do that?
GO TO YOUR NEAREST HOSPITAL!!!!
Phoned twice about my 5 month old…
Phoned twice about my 5 month old crying so much they are inconsolable. I suspect teething may be an issue buy I'm not 100 percent sure. First time they told me someone would phone me back to give me advice and never did. Second time, apparently they don't give advice. So not even medical advice because apparently that's not what they are for. They don't care. Supposed to take 5 month old babies very seriously. I'm a first time mum for goodness sake. I had enough. I put the phone on them the second time. I am not listening to their nonsense .
111 Online referred me to a pharmacist…
111 Online referred me to a pharmacist for a chest infection, only to be told by the pharmacist they can’t prescribe antibiotics for it. Hopes raised and dashed in half an hour!
Paranoid exageration I ignored,no…
Paranoid exageration I ignored,no better than never seeing the same gp twice and never meeting the dipensing gp. Gemini AI somewhat better dealing with hypothyroid issue at 83 caused by iodine deficiency now overcome.
Amazing service
Amazing service, have always been helpful, and make you feel at ease when you are struggling mentally. And get you seen quickly when you are in distress, and give really good advice. Been a life saver for me. It's a shame to see negative reviews as I've always had a positive experience
My call was handled quickly and…
My call was handled quickly and professionally with care and dignity, the advisor quickly arranged for me to be seen by a doctor within 2 hours. Overall I was very impressed and my mind was put at ease
Good 111 experience.
Spoke to 2 111 staff members today.
Both were very friendly helpful and professional. Sorted an urgent gp appointment for me quickly.
No complaints at all

Didn’t meet the need- I went around in circles to not even be put through to a doctor

Not helpful and a waste of time
No wonder our A&E is so over run when you haven't got trained staff that answer the phone for 111. It should be an ex doctor or an ex nurse or an ex paramedic who answer the phone as the staff have no idea or clue what they are doing or talking about. I already rang them up on Wednesday night asking for help and he couldn't help tbh. He did say please ring again if symptoms get worse. So I did on Thursday evening. I had extremely bad constipation. This was because I had a bad accident on Saturday morning that I broke my left elbow and dislocated my right shoulder with concussion. For pain relief I was given morphine that makes you have constipation. Well this was getting extremely bad and worse as the days went on. There was a really hard stole that I couldn't pass and I needed help. When I phoned up the 2nd time and explained my symptoms was worse. The lady on the other end was NOT listening to me at all and asking me these other bad symptoms if I had them. I was by then in extremely bad pain which my other half was going to take me to A&E. Well this woman didn't want me to do that and to have some doctor phone me back up. Oh and by the way. They can not tell by on the phone how bad off pain you are in. Just because you sound okay doesn't mean you are in good health or bad condition. I couldn't even be bothered with this lot so I went on Facebook and looked at a group I'm on and put on such constipation. One woman said that her gynaecologist recommended Glycerine Suppositories as nothing else was working. I looked this up and you basically put it up your backside and it will help the hard stole become loss as it will put water back into it again. Why oh why could the 111 members off staff couldn't say this is beyond me. I've never heard of this before. Looked online to see Tesco pharmacy near me was closing at 9pm and phoned them up to ask if they're had them. Explain to them what has happened like what I did to 111 twice and she was more helpful than them. Couldn't believe how helpful she was. Knew exactly what was wrong with me and was so helpful. Got home stuck one up me. Within 30 minutes my hard stole that was stuck I released. I felt so much better afterwards. I will be giving Tesco pharmacy 5 star for their excellent help as 111 doesn't deserve 1 star let alone 5.
111 made matters worse.
Called NHS111 at 14:00 today. Selected the Mental Health option on behalf of someone who is seriously in need of help. I was told that the wait would "exceed 1 hour and I was #6 in line". I was offered a call back, and told that this would preserve my place in the queue. I accepted this and they confirmed my number.
It is now after 21:00 and I have still not received a call back.
I can't face going through the process again.
I was stressed out trying to help someone in need. This has just made matters worse. Fortunately the patient is unaware of what has happened.
Thank you for wasting my time
Thank you for wasting my time. Keeping me waiting for over 6 hours then what?
Just want to thank 111 team absolutely…
Just want to thank 111 team absolutely brilliant once again thankyou for your help also docter Stevenson I think 111 should take over docters
I could count on one finger the number…
I could count on one finger the number of good experiences I’ve had with nhs 111. On that occasion, the clinician called me back incredibly quickly (within about an hour), took their time with me, and prescribed quickly. 97% of my experiences are awful. They often just signpost to other care services (urgent care, gp, pharmacy) so there is zero accountability and renders the service worse than useless.
They're always very good
They're always very good. Thorough and polite, they always take your issue seriously. They will triage you and give you good advice or contact the right people. One time they even sent an ambulance around to check on me, which I thought was overkill.
Not an appointment
Phone call was fine, gave me an appointment for my daughter to see a GP in urgent care - still currently waiting at the hospital 3 hours later, being told it’s not an appointment it’s a referral and it’s roughly a 4.5hr wait. 111 should change their language as the staff are dealing with complaints due to being told they have an appointment when it’s not. If this is the case and it’s not an appointment then i don’t see the difference between calling 111 and just showing up at urgent care.

I had to phone 111 last night
I had to phone 111 last night. I was very ill ,nearly collapsing. They called me back and I spoke to a Doctor. It was around 8 to 9pm. He was very helpful and listened. to my issues. He took a lot of time to talk to me. He told me I should go to A and E. He got me an appointment at The Royal Free in Hampstead for 10 pm. I had a lot of tests. So please find this Doctor and thank him. My name is Jasmine Bogen N65PE.
