Amazing customer service

Bought A K1 max and had an error code pop up I tried to get it sorted through creality who were useless but I I got in contact with 123-3D and had a speedy reply from Steve followed by a phone call same time, with a few small bits of advice the error code is no longer an issue and over night the printer has worked flawlessly. I couldn't recommend this company enough, I'm a beginner in the world of ,3D printing so it's been a great start thanks to Steve at 123-3d

Easy to use and Fast with great value.

Fast Shipping with some nice extras as part of the Package.

Best Deal I had found on the printer I wanted after my previous one finally gave out.

Amazing Customer Service - Fixed my dreams.

I had been waiting for months to buy a 3d printer and with so much choice and constant new models, making a decision was torture. With Black Friday looming, I made a choice and spent hours hunting for the best price. Then at the last moment disaster struck and I saw a bad review which threw me into panic. I had found my dream printer at 123-3d who showed an excellent bundle at an excellent price. But was it the "old" problematic version of the printer? I phoned but they were busy. I instantly emailed the info address as my dreams of pumping out thousands of previously completely unnecessary plastic creations, that would drive my wife nuts, faded behind despair. Wait. Whats this? Within minutes of sending my email, Steve from 123-3d replied, answering my concerns with a decisive and clear response. All was good. Even before I could wipe away the tears of joy, the phone rang. It was Steve. He had seen the missed call and actually phoned back. He expanded on the info he gave in the email and also answered other queries I had. Amazing. I went back on the site and ordered the deal. Wait. No. I didn't. In my excitement I had actually ordered the wrong item. Back on the phone and Steve was to the rescue again. He sorted my mistake and I went for a lie down. The emotional rollercoaster was not finished. While I had chosen the standard delivery and expected to wait a few days, the next day, I answered the door to find the DPD man standing behind a very large box, which was probably a good job given my obvious excitement upon realising what this was.

In summary, I am rarely inclined to recommend any company these days as customer service is so poor. Steve at 123-3d has shown there are exceptions and I have already recommended the printer and to buy it from 123-3d. Amazing service Steve. Especially given how busy you must have been on Black Friday.

Order with care

IF they actually have the product you are paying for it will arrive as expected BUT they do sell stuff they don't have, so beware.

I didn't notice the tiny print on the product listing that said 7-10 days, nor did I see the small print buried 3-clicks into the FAQ that basically says items listed 7-10 days could take any amount of time at all "("will take longer")... In my case 7-10 days meant 12 days minimum.

The 2-5 day offered delivery service at checkout cannot be trusted! Check the listing, read the entire FAQ, do not be in a hurry, and maybe it'll all be good for you...

sigh.

Why they can't just say 'out of stock' like any reasonable trader, I just don't know.

'Steve', bless him, replies quickly but will not apologise for messing you around.

I do not understand the ethics of a company that takes your money for things they don't have on hand. Order with care...

Hi Ant, we are sorry that the date given is out by a few days. Items that are marked as 7 to 10 day delivery means we are waiting for a delivery from our external warehouse in the Netherlands.
The delivery times are clearly marked on the product page, as you can appreciate we stock thousands of products, and at times we need to wait for fresh stock to arrive.
Again we are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

7 to 10 day order won't arrive for nearly 5 weeks.

Delivery stated as 7 to 10 days as item was in stock in remote warehouse. Nothing from them for over two weeks and then told, only when I queried the non-arrival, that the item wasn't in stock and the earliest delivery was over a month from the original order date.

Just not good enough. Get your act together!

123's reply said that this was a pre-order, but delivery was quoted as 7 to 10 days on the web page at the time of order. Nowhere did it say that delivery would be 5 weeks. I can get the same thing elsewhere with 3 day paid shipping.

We've refunded your order as requested and we have explained this to you by email today.
Update: In response to your edited review, this item has always been a pre-order and marked clearly accordingly (in red) on our website. This is the first time we have sold this item and it has always been marked as a pre-order. I appreciate it also shows 7-10 days delivery, but clearly has this additional information. If this has lead to any confusion, then please accept our apologies for this.

Wont be shopping here again

Company is reasonably priced - Theres no doubt about that but what you save in money you seem to make up for in poor customer service.

I ordered a part from them which was picked and delivered incorrectly. So I called, spoke to a guy named Steve who was apologetic and made assurances that it would be pure right. A courier was arranged to my door to collect the wrong part. More assurances that he had spoken to the warehouse team and it would be sent that same day.

Next day comes, no revised delivery notification, no communication. so I emailed again, only to be told that he had only now spoken to the warehouse team and it was unlikely they can fulfil the part and sent my refund.

Now this might seem like I am moaning for nothing. But the simple fact is, they are still advertaising the part as being in stock - so this can happen to someone else. They have lied to me about fulfillment and have therefore caused further delays to my enterprise and are clearly inept as the item in the box is printed on it, it is clear to anyone looking at the box it was not the right product.

Their ethical code is garbage, their customer service is hollow. shop elsewhere

UPDATE - FOllowing 123-3ds response to this review, more lies. Elegoo products have a picture and the product name printed on the packaging. Any warehouse worker would be able to read the item description and look at the box to see that wasnt the right product. SO I dont really think it is fair for 123-3d to throw their suppliers under the bus to recover from a bad review of their poor service.

Lies, clearly poor communication between store and warehouse and a complete lack of respect for customers and suppliers alike.

Firstly I'm sorry for inconvenience. We can appreciate your frustration. This was an extremely rare situation with a single item being booked in incorrectly in our system in our warehouse, as it had been incorrectly labelled by our supplier. I’ll clarify further below. We’ve arranged for your item to be returned with our courier and refunded your order. We supply many hundreds of orders each week and this is the first time this situation has arisen.
I can assure you that this item is not still showing as ‘in stock’ on our website (however we do have 10 of the item in stock in our European warehouse, which can be ordered in for customers as required). The status shows as 7-10 day delivery, to reflect this.
When you ordered, due to a very rare system error, a single different item had been booked in with an incorrect code. As this situation had not arisen previously and we have successfully fulfilled may thousands of orders, this was not immediately apparent to my colleague that you spoke to, and only became apparent on further investigation.
When you initially spoke to my colleague, he thought that this could have been human error with a mis-picked item. This itself would be very rare for us (and we run well below normal industry levels). Had this been the case your item would of course have been sent out and replaced.
I appreciate the delay in identifying the problem and ideally you would have been contacted that same day with a progress update. My colleague Steve did request by email that you provide the item code so we could try and get to the bottom of the issue. Unfortunately, the item had already been picked up by our courier from you before you had the time to reply to our email. If we had had this information, we’d have been able to get to the bottom of the problem faster (as the item was incorrectly labelled).
I can assure you that you have not been lied to in any way. While I can completely appreciate your frustration, this was an extremely rare error with an automated system that we have not experienced before. I’m sorry that the problem was not identified that day and you weren’t informed the same day.
In terms of our ethics, we refunded you quickly and arranged the courier to pick up the item. I appreciate you have had a bad experience in this instance; however we are a genuine business trying to do things ‘the right way’. We go out of our way to try and assist customers with any technical problems and make right any issues that do arise. We are rapidly growing firm and are truly trying to maintain this level of assistance as we grow.
Sorry once again for the inconvenience. The experience you have had is in no way the ‘norm’.

further update 08/11/2023 - This is not a lie, the wrong code is printed on the label. We'll be happy to email this over if you did not get a photo of the item before we collected it from you. Please contact our support team if you would like a copy. We appreciate this should not have happened and could have been faster to resolve the issue but we are a genuine business and this is a genuine mistake due to a misprinted code. This was the first time we have experienced this situation.

In terms of checking the item, our warehouse team deal with a huge volume of orders per day and we have never had this problem before. This is why each item was not manually checked. We have been able to rely on these codes. I appreciate that this seems simple to you and an obvious problem to spot, but this was one mislabelled item, we did not have another in our UK warehouse to check, and we have never had this problem before.

We completely understand you are frustrated but there has been absolutely no dishonesty. If we could make this right in any other way we would do.

Brilliant customer service along with great prices, also, very quick delivery. I would definitely recommend 123-3d for anyone looking for 3d printing supplies.

Great experience all round

Great experience all round, quick to respond to my e-mail queries and I was able to get what I wanted very quickly. An item I ordered was out of stock however they graciously provided and alternative to get me up and running. Best of all was the free bag of sweets in the bag of merch :) now that's customer service,

Friendly staff and quick responses

Friendly staff and quick responses, however, I ordered an item which stated it would be a 7-10 day wait on delivery. After waiting a week i asked if I was likely to receive my item soon, to be told it would be another week.

Customer service is good, but the website needs a real overhaul so they can provide delivery date estimates there

Great company, fast delivery, great customer service and support

I contacted 123-3d after poor customer service from another UK seller, needless to say 123-3d answered my call straight away, and gave great advice on what would be the best printer for me and my needs. The advice from the tech guy was absolutely fantastic, he didn't try selling me the most expensive machine, but a very good starter. I hadva couple of issues with the setup, again over the phone support was fantastic, I was up and running in no time. 123-3d is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me. Now my go to supplier 👍

I ordered an item which was not correct…

I ordered an item which was not correct for a 3d print it did not suit the application. I followed this companies returns policy I returned the item and followed this up a week later. Despite numerous emails I have not had any of my emails returned. I would warn anyone to think twice before ordering from. They senf out parts quick. But don't deal with returns. If I could give them zero stars I would.

Excellent experience

It was my first time ordering from 123-3D. Although their site is a little dated, they have an excellent range. My parcel arrived in 2 days of ordering and it was well packaged in matching branded packaging which is a neat touch. I'll be ordering from them again.

Excellent company for 3d printing,In…

Excellent company for 3d printing,In may I bought a ender 3 s1 pro from them,but unfortutely it was faulty,they arranged to get it picked up and found it had another fault I didn't realize it had,so returned another brand new one to me.Ace company that cares about its customers and sells at a good price.

Faultless service, great prices, super delivery.

Every now and again, not often enough we come across a supplier which is simply outstanding. 123-3D is one of the best. Email for advice, and relies are almost instant. Steve and Stephen, not sure if same person, but first class for sevice. I should have known as I have been dealing with the parent company Cartridge People for years of excellent prices and service. Well done and thanks again.

Ten out of ten in all regards

Ten out of ten in all regards. I bought some premium PLAs (some of the metal fill PLAs from colorfabb). Not only were they significantly cheaper than any other retailer but they shipped exceptionally quickly. Stephen from Technical Support is a superstar!
