Horrid company.
Order a cab day before and prepay,
Wait next day for 30min and no cab turning up. On call… next available.
Automated booking is a total disgrace, Sonia the lying operator.

Poor service. Unreliable.

Poor service. Unreliable and late despite pre booking the day before. I booked for 6.45 am and at 6.35 the app indicated he was 5 minutes away. At 6.44 it indicated he was 12 minutes away and was driving away from my location! Egregious conduct. Had to cancel and get DiDi which showed up in 5 minutes. NEVER AGAIN will I use 13CABS. And still waiting on my prepaid fare. Rip off!

Cab never showed up for a booking I made for a wedding. We had to take multiple of our own cars just to get there on time. No communication from the company at all. I booked days in advance.

Scammed by 13cabs driver

Agreed a fare of 60AU$ for driver to take us to the Airport. Driver gave us a receipt for 60AU$. When I checked my card payment 183AU$ had been taken from the account. The drivers tout for business then scam you. Avoid at all cost.

Don't rely on 13Cabs Canberra…

We rang & spoke to 13Cabs to book a maxi taxi or larger vehicle - big enough to fit a large bike box- to the airport. We booked ahead & expained carefully what we needed to the operator. 13Cabs confirmed vehicle availability & the booking. 10 minutes before the maxi taxi was to due to arrive at 6.25 am, they messaged to say no vehicles were available. I had to ring their overseas number to try to find a solution. I was informed no approproate vehicles were available for the entire weekend. No solution or explanation was provided on why they'd confirmed the booking earlier. Frustrated, we scrambled to find an alternative - fortunely UBER had one easily available & arrived in time so we didn't miss our flight. I'll never use 13Cabs again!

Blind Person Gets No Help Only Rudeness

I am totally blind. I called and booked a cab for 5 Pm on Monday 22 Dec 2025; from my home at 14 Stockdale Rd, Kewdale, to Rivervale Podiatrist. The driver was really rude, unhelpful and mean. I did not get a text or message from the company verifying my booking. I was standing at the front door outside my house a few minutes before 5 PM. The driver says he was there for a long time, and was calling me several times but I did not answer his call. On my end there was no calls or missed calls or text messages. I asked him what number did he call and he did not tell me. He did not even come to help me find the taxi. He just sat in the car and expected me to find him. It looks like he was not told that I was blind, and when he saw that I had a cane and was struggling to find the door, he just sat in his car and complained that I did not take his calls and he was about to leave. When I called the taxi company they did not communicate well or say anything helpful when I asked them if they had given him my correct number. This is because I was concerned that they might give my return driver the wrong number. I had also mentioned to the call centre when I called to make the booking that I was blind and had a PTSS card. This should also have been communicated to the driver. This is my first time in Perth and to use the card. The driver did not ask me for the PTSS card and just drove off, and because he was in such a bad mood and was rude, I forgot to tell him about my card. Halfway when I told him about my card, he was even more rude and said it’s too late and that I should have given it to him at the start. Then he was taking me to the wrong place, because he had 111 Orong Rd as the address for the Podiatrist. I told him that it was wrong and that the Podiatrist was 102 Kooyong Rd, Rivervale. I finally paid him the full amount and tried to pacify him. This is really a bad service on the part of the booking team if they did not convey the right info to the driver, and also a bad experience for a blind person newly moving to Perth and getting a rude driver on his first trip. It really makes me want to never use 13Cabs again. However the guy who picked me up at 6 PM from Rivervale Podiatrist to 14 Stockdale Rd was a nice guy.

I only want the company to have a more professional process over the phone, and people who speak to you politely and make sure they get all your information and convey it correctly. Also that drivers do not get away with treating people badly for no fault of their own; especially people who are more needy of extra care.

Don’t cancel the booking once you get in the cab, and NEVER, EVER pay in cash!


We used the app to book in from Loftus st Sydney, and put in 3 destinations, Drummoyne, Gladesville and Ryde.
He arrived to pick us up and as soon as he started driving he said the meter was not working and that we had to pay him in cash. He made us cancel the app booking and said that we had to pay him $78 in cash. We all agreed. As we approached Gladesville, he started complaining that the fee should have been more, and this was “bullshit” it was too cheap for the trip he was making, plus there a lot of traffic so we should be charged more. Upon arriving at the final destination in Ryde he took $100 in cash refused to give me my $22 change and said that this was a fair price.

Absolutely appalling experience with…

Absolutely appalling experience with 13cabs at Brisbane International. Avoid this company at ALL costs.

After a 24-hour journey from the UK, we just needed a simple 5-minute ride from the international terminal to the Pullman at domestic. A 13cabs maxi was the only taxi available. We asked the driver for an estimate and he told us “about $30–35, but I’ll run the meter and charge whatever it says.” Fair enough — or so we thought.

The meter clearly showed $21 on arrival. Then suddenly the card machine displayed $42, which he charged before we could even process what he’d done. When challenged, he made up nonsense about an “extra $20 maxi fee” that he NEVER mentioned beforehand. He flat-out contradicted his own words about charging the meter price.

This felt like blatant opportunistic overcharging, taking advantage of tired travellers who just wanted to get to their hotel. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and totally unprofessional.

If this is how 13cabs operates — ambushing customers with undisclosed fees, ignoring the meter, and doubling the price at the last second — then they don’t deserve anyone’s business.

Same story as others. Mistakenly pre-booked a taxi with this pathetic POS company. Gave 24hrs notice, nothing showed. Eventually phoned, promised a taxi in 5-10min - nothing. Happy to take the money though, luckily refunded eventually. Literally their only job. They'll go bankrupt soon enough.

Criminal Scum

They rip you off, thieves and liars!
Adelaide SA, once again, he didn't turn on the meter, I didn't notice, made up a ridiculous price out of thin air, threatened to take me back if I didn't pay. This is ILLEGAL! This is the 4th time!
You are nothing but criminals, the authorities need to investigate these Adelaide taxis.
They need to be closed down, do NOT use these taxis.
Low life criminal scum.

Always a terrible experience

Always a terrible experience. This last time , the taxi stank of sweat. The fare is seemingly extortionate. It was miles higher than uber , even with a large surge fare. Unfortunately, I saw the surge and thought the taxi would be cheaper. It wasn't. Lesson learned. I don't trust any of the metering. This has happened before. I vowed never to take a taxi then. Regrettably, I took one. Never again.

Never use this company

I booked a maxi taxi, online, to take a group of friends to dinner. The booking was confirmed and I was given a reference number.
We waited 10 minutes passed the given time and then I tried to contact them to find out where our taxi was. This was a frustrating experience as it was difficult to get onto an actual human!
When I finally spoke to someone, they informed be that, despite the fact that I had a booking confirmation, the company did not service the area!
This made us late for our dinner booking at the other end.
I fail to understand how a "system" can accept a booking, take payment details and then not provide a service.
Very frustrating.

Imagine having booked a taxi with 13…

Imagine having booked a taxi with 13 Cabs (Sunday 9 November) for 11.30am, guests having arrived from Sydney for special birthday celebrations. Written confirmation of the booking and a separate telephone conversation to confirm the booking and then they do not turn up !!! And when phoning them at 11.30am, tell you that they didn't have any taxi's available. No contact, no communications, no apology - the worst service I have ever received - shame on 13 Cabs.

Ordered Maxi Taxi via their robot service which actually went OK! Get message driver about to arrive then nothing for 15mins...finally managed to cancel via their stupid robot service but now kate to catch a boat for a 21st...If cab drivers wanna know why people choose UBER etc this is it. 13 Cabs app deleted and never catch a cab again you bunch of losers!
