Really good service and experience
Really good service and experience. I’m in a new country with a high conflict co parent and needed to make sure I followed all best advice to take care of my daughter who had vomiting. I followed good advice and overall benefited from having someone to call and to discuss continuing symptoms. We did not escalate unnecessarily, and my daughter was able to recover in the night and rest rather than go into hospital. They supported me well through my first experience of this, they had good advice, listened well and made sensible decisions taking on the information I gave. The wait time was high, but that’s because a lot of people use them and they give their time and care.
Terrible experience
Thrown off the phone several times while waiting. Last time initially told 33minutes wait by the phone system which turned out to be 1h10 min wait in reality. Plus then another 2.5h before a doctor is available. And most likely more waiting time to be expected then according to the text I have received.
The state of this is like a third world country. I am danish and I am so ashamed of this service which must be even endangering lives.
The doctor was pretty rude and annoyed that I didn’t have an address in Denmark.
I won’t hope for any foreigners to become sick in Denmark and especially not during danish summer holidays where it seems the service more or less breaks down.

The Nurse hung up without even listening to me. So so strange, provocative, and inhuman.
Our daughter was sent to Herlev hospital by Lægvagt. The doctor asked me to call 1813 and book time for myself and my wife as well because we whole family were ill due to a virus attack.
I called the 1813 to request a time at Herlev hospital where we were already going for our daughter at 15:34. Because it did not make sense to go checked our daughter and then wait for one and half hour and then call 1813 and book time for ourselves.
The nurse did not listen to the whole situation yet and hung up.

The service is not acceptable
The service is poor, i had trouble breathing, and was fainting every 5 minutes and the man my boyfriend was talking to told him that he just give me 2 painkillers, I called them back 1 hour later where I couldn’t talk or breathe and he told me that I sounded find and I should wait till Monday to talk to my doctor, and try to get some sleep. He was rude on the phone and talked to my boyfriend like he was stupid.
This service is totaly disfunctional
This service is totaly disfunctional , and needs to be closed. It is a waste of money. Not to say that it endangered peoples life .

A slightly better appreciation of the services compared to my original evaluation.
This is not an evaluation of individual doctors, but of the system. Got the impression there's some improvement recently. Notwithstanding this, still very bureaucratic and if you fall just outside the standards they don't know what to do and you can wait very long to get the right help.
Original review:
When your doctor in CPH is on leave and her automatic answering machine gives 3 numbers that are not available (including vagttelefonen), 1813 is the only number you can call.
The level of English is moderate and they simply say they cannot do anything before 16:00. And that I should try the numbers given from the automatic answering machine (one not availabe, the 2 others an answering machine because on leave)
Instead of being too proud on their system, this region better learns from others in Europe how to do it better in terms of service, quality and fastness.
