I had an excellent experience with 1Password support yesterday. Dave remotely connected to my Mac and quickly resolved a frustrating issue where my Chrome extension kept locking despite being configured not to. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to clearly explain what was causing the problem and how he fixed it. The issue was resolved almost immediately. It's refreshing to work with someone who not only knows what they're doing but also makes sure the customer understands the solution. Great job, Dave, and thank you, 1Password!

I have tried in vain to get a real person to help me and have been unsuccessful thus far. The app is asking me to update to their next version, but when I try to login at a desktop computer I can't get in. I am afraid to do too much as I might loose access to my cell phone access. It is very frustrating and I am at the point where I think I will have to hand write out the passwords I truly think I need, forget the rest, and completely disentangle myself from this business...

Fast response, clear explanation!

I love the app. It makes everything so much easier! Ran into an issue while installing it on a new laptop and asked the helpdesk. Thom helped and we found out that there was a bug in the software, but we got a workaround and all was solved in 5 minutes. Amazing help, amazing security. 11/10 would recommend!

The best password manager out there managed by an amazing staff.

Takes forever for support which I still have not gotten. I got locked out of one of my account, reached out for help. Told me to make a new account, so I pay for another one. I reached out again to merged the two account and my account with deleted without notifying me. One day my account was deleted but no one contacted me they were working on my ticket or issue. All the response I got so far are generated by AI.

Support was hard to get to at first. There's no phone line, and the chat option just turns into an email ticket with very slow response time.

I only got anywhere after posting on X, where it was flagged as high priority. From there, Darcy was amazing. He was quick to respond and fixed our billing issue fast.

I was unable to access my account. The hotline representative provided excellent, easy-to-understand assistance to help me solve the problem. Everything worked perfectly on the first try. Many thanks for that!

So far I have found 1Password to be a dependable and easy to use product. Customer service is great. Fast and eager to help.

Switched from LastPass a few years ago and what a relief that was. The 1Password ecosystem is just perfect for my family, works on every device, looks nice, easy to use.

The customer service is fantastic once you reach them, though getting ahold of an actual person is a bit of a real challenge. For reference, connecting with a real human at my previous password manager took me 20 seconds flat (I actually timed it). However, 1Password has definitely won me over as a new customer. The UI is incredibly intuitive and fits perfectly into my daily workflows. I do recommend!

Support is replaced by useless AI.
If you experience an issue there is no one to help you - you will get few response from AI agent and this is it.
The company is showing they don't value you, your time and your business.
If my account gets suspended because if the issue no one cares about I am going to initiate a chargeback.
In any case I am done with this company.

Both the product and the support are top-notch. I love the product, and the support team truly cares about it and about how successful you are with it.

Gotta love 1Password’s system errors. They kindly tell you to contact customer support, and then take 9 full days to get back to you. Incredible dedication to keeping their paying users up and running!

Like many, I have tens of passwords to keep track of and naturally don't duplicate them and create complex ones. Constantly referring to my password reminder to figure out which password to use is a time sink. 1Password came highly recommended by Wall Street Journal and I purchased it. It has made life much easier and has created even more complex passwords. Using multiple ways to access my accounts has become much easier and is often by just one click. I highly recommend 1Password.

**Paid subscription but my account was frozen**

Really disappointed with 1Password. I paid for my subscription through Apple in June 2026 and used my account normally for months. It has now suddenly been frozen because 1Password says there is “no payment method on file.”

I contacted customer service and provided my Apple receipt showing the subscription was paid. Instead of tracing the payment, I was told to check whether I had used another email address or created an account in another region. I checked, and I haven’t. This is the same account I created, paid for and have been using for nearly 3 months.

For a password manager I rely on for my business, suddenly losing access despite having paid is extremely frustrating. I expected much better customer service and support. So now i have paid a yearly subscription and can´t even use the app. Total waste of money.
