The Engineer is very polite and doing his job with our satisfaction.
Only draw back is that the he supposed to give a call 30mins before he comes but give only 20 mins.
Not only this Engineer, all previous engineers with my previous experience. Company should at least 30 mins.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other customers deserve to know about my experience.

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had with an insurance company.

Before buying this policy, I specifically asked the sales adviser whether all boiler parts were covered and whether I would only ever pay the £45 excess. I was told "yes", so I bought the policy believing I was fully protected.

Unfortunately, when my boiler broke down, my experience was completely different.

First, I was told certain parts were not covered. Then I was informed that my boiler was considered "Beyond Economic Repair" and would not be repaired under my policy because of its age and value.

When I challenged this decision, I was asked to pay an extra £268, later reduced to £150, to have a manufacturer's engineer attend. I had no choice because I needed my heating restored.

Ironically, the manufacturer's engineer repaired my boiler successfully.

Afterwards, I received another call warning me that a power issue in my heating system could mean future repairs might not be covered either. When I asked what my policy actually covered, I was simply told that I should have read the Terms and Conditions.

At that point I asked a simple question:

What exactly am I paying monthly for if future repairs can be refused?

The answer I received was simply that I should have read the Terms & Conditions.

I made a formal complaint. The company cancelled my policy without a cancellation fee, but refused to refund my premium, my £45 excess or the additional £150 I had to pay.
In the end, I paid for insurance that did not provide the level of protection I believed I had been sold.

My advice to anyone considering this policy is simple:
Ask for every exclusion to be explained clearly before buying, especially if your boiler is older. Don't rely only on the sales conversation—read every term carefully and make sure you understand exactly when they may refuse to repair your boiler.

This is my personal experience, and unfortunately it has left me with no confidence in the cover I purchased.
