I was quoted £45 over the phone and waited 20 minutes for the locksmith to arrive. When he finally did, I was told it would actually cost £150 for the job and £190 for the barrel. Naturally, I assumed that meant £190 in total, not an extra £190 on top of the £150!

This is outright misleading and dishonest pricing. When I called the number on the website to question the drastic difference, the person who answered was rude and dismissive.

I will be raising this further because this feels like daylight robbery. My advice to anyone considering this company – stay well away unless you want to be fleeced of your money.

Price was different to what was quoted, lady on the phone said normally it would cost £45 and when locksmith arrived, price hiked up to +£700 saying my lock needs to be drilled without trying out any alternative methods.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Lockerkey Raul on a last-minute basis, and I was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and efficiency displayed by their team. They attended to my call promptly and resolved my issue in a very quick and efficient manner. The service was excellent, and I was particularly impressed with the courteous and professional manner of the staff. I highly recommend Lockerkey for Raul that have an exceptional service and would not hesitate to use them again in near future.

We were told it would be £55 to fix.
Guy came out and then said the whole lock needed to be removed and replaced, which would cost about £250.
We were shocked.. this was not what we were told over the phone
We instead drove 120miles to pick up spare keys from family.
Very disappointed to have been told incorrect info over the phone
I called to explain the grievance, with no luck.

Called in for a simple job to unlock the door, ended up being told this is high security and needs drilling without even taking out one tool out of his big handyman bag, he says” i can just tell by looking this needs drilling”. Come on. Lady on the phone says “starting from £45 depending on the job”. Well the man asked for £49 before leaving and knowingly from experience that door needed drilling. I paid £45 as the lady said and she did not say it was a call out fee even when no job was carried out. Thank you very much for taking my £45 to come say hello and go in a uniform.

Called them up at 6pm on a Sunday to enquire the cost of a locksmith helping me because I had locked myself out of my flat and was told "prices start at £45 then you will be told the whole price before they start the work."

Locksmith arrived and said it was £150 is that ok. I said I guess so considering they said from £45 it seemed like a lot but he's already there and I need to get in so ok. Then he says it's another 165 or 240 for a new lock - this wasn't stated before the works started. Again I have no choice, I have an open door with no lock on it. Then only when he's pulling out his invoice pad at the end I am hit with 120 call out fee because it's a Sunday which was not stated either on the phone when I first called or before he started the work. And then I'm told there's VAT on top of all of that. Absolute robbery. So dishonest to operate in this way. When I first called I should have been told that the minimum price was 165 not 45 and that it's plus VAT. How can you tell a customer prices from £45 then I'm £500 poorer at the end of it?! Crazy that they think it's ok to operate so deceitfully.

Help me was efficient, pleasant and polite and got on with the job of extracting the half key which had snapped in my door lock. I was very pleased and relieved he managed this. Couldn’t have asked for a better workman to help me.

Raul provided a very good and friendly service at my out of hours time of need. He was very understanding and friendly. However just make sure you receive the correct pricing and call out charges from the people over the phone booking him.

Patrick arrived early, checking beforehand I was in, and was incredibly efficient. He quickly analysed the problem, which wasn't what I thought it was, and addressed it immediately. Highly recommended!

They came on a last minute call was very efficient and knew what they was doing... What was right for me ,by letting me get inside without changing the lock and costing me more

Alex was fantastic! I was stranded! My Halfords steering wheel lock mechanism broke and the key was not opening the lock. I called 24 Hr Locksmiths after ringing around other companies for ages. They agreed to come in 30 mins and was there on time. Thank you Alex for your swift attendance and for getting the job done!
