Complete service failure and unreponsive customer service
Nature of service failure:
The 9am pickup was confirmed the evening before.
We arrived at the pick-up point before the agreed time and after we rang to find out when the driver would arrive that 'due to traffic.' he would be a few minutes late. The story kept changing, then 20 then 35 and finally we were on board at 45 minutes late. The rest of the trip was uneventful and the driver competent.
I have run transport and despatch businesses since 1976 and have extensively used hire cars in my working career. The only description of this service that I can give is shamoblic!
Yes all companies can have a bad day but it what to do when this happens that differentiates good from bad. This company refused any discussion on crediting part of the cost as compensation despite repeated promises to 'look into it' over two weeks. And even more surprising was that the driver when he arrived 40 minutes late told us that 'he was doing us a favour but showing up'!!
So if you want to go somewhere on time forget this company!!
