Absolutely horrific experience!!

Absolutely horrific experience with this place. Not even worth one star. It’s utterly unbelievable that these ‘people‘ think it’s ok to treat customers in such an appalling and downright disgusting manner. I Purchased a £600 complete bmx from their online shop. Item was advertised as ‘new’. What turned up was nothing short of a disgrace! Every single component on the bike was either chipped, dented, scratched or marked in some way or other. Looked like it had been taken to the park more than a few times! Would have been sent out from their shop in this damaged state as some of the chipped and dented parts had been re-covered in wrapping. Not once was I informed in any way that the bike was in anyway less than new condition and no mention was made regarding the damaged state of the product. I Immediately took photographs and informed the shops owner, Thomas Stellwag. He proceeded to refute everything, claiming that he did not send out a damaged item followed by some rude and entirely disrespectful remarks. A PayPal claim was raised immediately after receiving this! I followed the return instructions and had the item shipped back to the shop within a few days at my own substantial cost. I formally requested a full refund and also reimbursement for return shipping costs on a great number of occasions. Thanks to PayPal I managed to claim a full refund for the original purchase price. However, despite numerous emails and requests for the shipping cost to be refunded, Mr Stellwag refuses to do this so I am now greatly out of pocket after having to pay to have a damaged, not as described and entirely different from purchased, product returned to their shop. This was NOT a case of a change of mind, this was a entirely damaged item! I was not made aware of the condition of the item that was advertised and should have been ‘new’ or that it looked like it had been thrown across the skate park more than a handful of times.

Utterly disrespectful, disgusting and frankly very shocking behaviour from a shop that claims to be a ‘rider owned shop’.

I would gravely think twice before parting with your hard earned money with these people... absolute NIGHTMARE!!!
