I have created countless things using 3dplotter and the team is always implementing new features. If I ever have any questions or need support, the team has immediately gotten back to me. They are incredibly responsive and always showcasing creative projects and ways people are using the app.
Awful product because you can load an stl but once you change the mode to make it into a vector/.svg file or line drawing black lines on white background then you cant control the camera with the mouse anymore.
Besides the results are also choppy not a true svg it sort of creates polygons out of your files so its not a smooth line like an svg if you wanna print it out with a normal laser printer.
Could also have sworn I saw something about a 14 day money back guarantee on the website but apparently this is not the case in the "terms" when I got an email back today.
Huge waste of money no wonder the worlds so shit, if this was in Japan they would have to apologize publicly for their horrible product being disservice to society.
Recommend just getting shapr3d instead then using their svg export option that is significantly better quality if you just wanna print it out on paper using a normal printer instead. The reason I dont wanna pay that subscription is that I use the for personal use fusion360 instead since I have gotten more use to that software now. But shapr3d also has a line thickness export have printed images of 3d models before using that its significantly better.
Ohh and btw they are the kind of company that does not put the vat in the price on the website either so its deceptive you pay like an extra 20-25% ontop of the price thats there so its like 50-60 euros just for the version that could do the cad file to .svg file.

You contacted us on 10 Oct and I replied the same day. The things you described, free camera control in line-drawing mode, smoother curves and cleaner hidden lines, were feature requests rather than faults in how the app was built to work. I took them on anyway. They shipped in v3.5.1 within a day, and v3.5.2 refines them further. I also wrote to you several times asking for your file and a clear description of what you wanted, so I could get it right.
VAT: 3DPlotter is sold internationally, and VAT depends on the buyer's country, so it is calculated at checkout. The total including VAT is shown before you confirm payment.
Refunds: the terms (section 6) state that sales are final for instantly delivered digital products, and this is accepted at checkout.
The conversation became heated on your side, and I'd rather move past that. I'm a solo developer, and if you try v3.5.2 and something still isn't right, write to hello@3dplotter.xyz and I'll look at it personally. I'd also be glad if you updated your review to reflect the current version.

I came across 3dplotter when I saw some plotter art on social media and did some research on my own. I owned a bamboo lab A1 and I dont see the need to purchase another plotter if I want to create my own plotter art and 3dplotter provided a neat solution to my problem. with my bamboo A1 I can now create arts I designed with minimal effort and expenses. Great product that definitely deserved more attention.
I use 3DPlotter with my Bambu Lab A1 to create personalized handwritten letters using my own JSON single-line font. Creating layouts and exporting working G-code is straightforward, and the results are excellent. The developer responds quickly, understands technical feedback and is genuinely open to improving the software. Highly recommended!
