My first trial with 3DQF as wanted to try something that was slightly more environmentally friendly and closer to home. They delivered quickly and the first print was excellent with a Bambulab A1. I used the reworked pla without changing any settings and it was fine although I have set up a proper profile for future prints.
Prices were very good too and because I took advantage of the rework for free with 3 other reels it works out comparable to others from far east.

Fantastic filament, now my day to day filament. Either by post or face to face fantastic to deal with, always got time to help (sorted my bed adhesion issue in 3 mins) very knowledgeable staff .

Great filament and a great price. I have been using their stuff for a couple of years and always had good results. It takes a little while to get used to having such a low bed heat and high nozzle temp but when you get it right it works like a charm.

good quality filament that prints well, just the price lets it down, £18 a KG compared to the £10-£11 a kg the others sell for

I used their ABS to build a Voron. Have to bump temperatures up about 5 degrees to get good results. Really pleased with the quality and consistency at this price. Highly recommend.

More interested in their customers than profit, 3DQF will always be my first port of call for 3D printing filament! Have ordered six rolls so far in two orders and couldn't be happier.

Have found their PLA to be much better than what comes out of China in every aspect and they can correctly differentiate between PLA and PLA+, which is not common amongst Chinese manufacturers. 3DQF have even managed to not raise their prices despite the events of the past three years and continues to be some of the cheapest available, despite being made in the UK.

As others have mentioned, their PLA needs to be printed at a higher temperature; 205C works best for me but sometimes bump up to 210C. Little stringing or blobbing and minimal dye separation, making transitions between colours easy for my hot end.

Will definitely be coming back for more soon!

First purchase with these guys, arrived promptly. Small issue that one of the vac seal bags must have been slightly punctured as it wasn't totally vac sealed, doesn't seem to have effected prints so far though. Need to dial in my settings a little still but initial results are great. Slight damage to the cardboard spool on arrival but again nothing that would stop you printing. My only negative is that unlike other brands there is no resealable bag included so for those of us without humidity controlled storage this is only a minor annoyance.
Spooling is spot on and cardboard is nice to recycle, I will be purchasing again.

About a fortnight ago I ordered 10 spools of different coloured PLA, I thought I would give them a try due to the "Filament straight from the extruder" boast and the amount of different colours they have to offer.

I placed my order over the weekend and had the spools by the Tuesday, Very impressive delivery times as my order would not of been packed until the Monday.

The filament is wound on carboard spools which is all well and good but, every single roll I had was showing "Crush" marks on the edge and the edges are a lot thicker than the rolls from other manufacturers, If I was rolling the spools on bearings this had the potential to be a deal breaker, However the good folk at 3DQF have noticed this and have come up with a solution in "tyres or Rims" for the edging found here thingiverse com/thing:4778957 these are a great fit and really do work. I use a 0.4 nozzle and the total time for each rim with my settings is 1hr 26mins.

I am printing at a hotter temp with this filament than I normally do I now print at 215 degrees and 60 degrees bed temp.

Overall I am very happy with 3DQF and will have them as my go to filament supplier, as of yet I have only tried the PLA that they sell, maybe one day I will get around to trying some other filament types they produce.

A very high quality filament at an excellent price.

Having used this filament in large quantities for several months now, I have always had excellent results. The filament prefers a slightly higher temperature than other PLA's that I use - I usually run it at 210°C. To my mind, this is an advantage as the filament has a slighter higher tolerance to heat when printed.

The filament comes on spools made from cardboard which are 100% recyclable. I think this is a fantastic feature given that we are trying to reduce plastic waste. The spool has a rough guide to tell you the quantity of filament remaining - another feature I like. The spooling is top quality - I have never suffered any snags or tangles and I'm able to leave the printer unattended in stark contrast to the Amazon Basicfil brand which needs constant supervision because of the poor quality spooling.

I have only tried their PLA range but would not hesitate to highly recommend this filament to anybody.

Quality pla filament, I ordered more after good results from my initial purchase.
Had a delay in receiving my second order due to a hiccup with their website on that particular day but after an email to them I got a swift apology and received extra filament for the inconvenience.
Very pleased with the product and service and being UK manufactured is a bonus.
They'll be my go to supplier for future orders and will recommend to others.
