Bad company to deal with

all ink cartridges were defective. Called company they said they would take them back but wanted me to pay all freight charges receiving and returning. I told them I would just call the credit card company and have it charged bak to them

Upon receipt of your initial complaint of cartridges not working, we asked for you to send a pic of the cartridges, which you declined to provide. Pics help us identify the manufacturer of the products and to seek out solutions that do not require returns/delays for our customers. Since you declined to provide pics, we issued you an RMA, including a prepaid postage label.

Ultra-slow shipping -- 8 days!

I ordered replacement ink cartridges for my Epson Workforce printer from 499 Inks on Saturday 5 September 2015, and received a shipping notification on Tuesday 8 September. However, I didn't actually receive the cartridges until yesterday, Wednesday 16 September -- a glacially-slow 8 days after they shipped. The UPS Mail Innovations uses the USPS to handle local delivery, which appears to be glacially slow.

Why ?

The printer Companies have a chip that tells them when it's not their brand inks,making the printers useless, will not print,this should be look into.If you put a none Manufacturers oil in your car should it not run ? That should be illegal for printer Companies to make hostage your printer for not buy their inks.......................

we didn't get the password needed for ordering.

Please give password when customers ask for it.Not having one makes ordering very difficult.

For customer security purposes, we do not allow all representatives access to customer passwords. The safest way to retrieve a password is to request a password reset through our website, which we provided instructions for, so hopefully it all worked out.

Would recommend 499inks so far

I am a new customer to 499inks and so far am pleased. I received the order on time and in good condition with the Inks and toner packaged in professional packaging. I have tried the HP ink cartridges which are working good but have not tried the Canon inks and toner yet, but anticipate good results.

After seeing my expenses for ink cartridges continue to go out of sight I looked for a less expensive way to achieve the same quality. 499inks did that.

Wasn't sure if this was a rip off?

The package tracker feature only said that our order data had been sent to usps to be picked by USPS for several days. We were concerned that our ink order was fake. Then our order showed up in the mail. So it is a real vendor. We will probably reorder in the future. I hope they will improve the tracking feature

Hello, we are sorry that your parcel did not show more updates along the way. The tracking function is not something we have control over, it depends on UPS and USPS who handles our parcels, if they scan it at various points along the way, it will show more updates along the way, but if they don't scan it at every point, it will show less updates. Usually, you would see at least 2 scans prior to delivery.

Bad service

I was told that my order was shipped and then several days later when I called to follow-up -- no follow-up from them via e-mail about tracking # or anything, I was then told my order was shipped on that day. I explained that I needed it by the following day which was over 1 week after the original order date. I asked about next day shipping of the a duplicate order and was told it wold be $100 for the shipping + the order cost -- to reorder the same thing. After consultation with a supervisor, the shipping was reduced to $90 + order cost which was totally unrealistic. I ended up ordering the same product order from another company with no problems. The product order cost was a little more expensive and the overnight shipping was $18. I was very satisfied with the 2nd company. My original order arrived 2 days after that. I cannot use it now.

That may be true but upon my order I expressed my need for the product delivery in one week and mentioned the specific day. # days after my order was placed, I called asking for order status and a tracking number. After the rep checked, he informed me that my order was just shipped and info would be forth coming. 4 1/2 following that call, I called again seeking order status. After the rep checked, he said that the order would ship later that day. We talked about the previous call. No info. It was then that I inquired about overnight delivery for a replacement order as I needed the product the next day...8 days after the original order. I then asked about next day air IF the order would be shipped that day. Again, $100 then $90 for overnight shipping + product cost. Bottom line, this was a huge waste of time and I had to reorder and next day deliver the same product from someone else.

The average for delivery is actually closer to 3 business days, but we provide the wider delivery window to account for any possible delays. Happy customer

You can't beat the price. The quality is good and I only had one problem with the printer accepting the ink, but i followed the directions that came with the ink and it was fine. It's worth the effort to save.
